I am making special allowances for everyone on account of the fact that this game is unique. Finding red players without a voting record is challenging and many contestants fell into a pattern of non-game related banter. Almost50 is one of these players, but I will not hold it against him as possible game-avoidance.

Is this not a flimsy reason to announce that a player is town? That the player would "suggest to hunt scum before forming teams?"

Which, btw, makes DkK Town here for suggesting we should scum hunt before we form teams.

This post is a light shade of green. It would be greener if it wasn't an obvious way for red players to hide under a green cloak.

What I don't understand is people eager to rush it NOW though with an idle slot in the game. I want to resolve THAT SPECIFIC SLOT as well. Is that bad?

Almost50 identifies a player with a good red-hunting idea, and bemoans that no one listened. I like this for green.

Actually S_S did offer a semi-Scumhinting method to make this look like it's a Mafia game, but you all shot his idea down.

I cannot tell if this is alignment-indicative but I am catching a bit of a contrarian vibe between Almost50 and Noraa, who was shouting very loudly that she felt MathBlade was red. This contrarian streak seems to feed a MathBlade green read and a reason not to vote spamton.

Noraa suspect YOU might be Scum as well. She was a bit too generous with her SRs left and right and with her fake confidence that I just wanted to go against everything she said (and explicitly told he that I would even if she was the NK and she flipped green)

I did. But not from the get go.

At first Nora wanted us to vote Mathblade. Math wanted to talk and she said "no". Mama wanted to vote spamton, and I agreed, but then Noraa kept on talking non-stop trying to force our votes unto Math. I got fed up and told her I was voting her and won't change it.

Like, honestly if Noraa had some sense I would have agreed to vote spamton instead

This is what I'm willing to broadcast for the time being: MT's team has ONE Scum in it. FB's has TWO. Loki's have ONE and Mama's has TWO (and to be blunt it's Mama Ru & "someone not me" but I'm leaning NumberQ over Mathblade.

NONE OF THIS IS CARVED IN STONE THOUGH. I am not claiming I solved the game or that I'm even close to it. I only have more details about my own team because of the numbers and the actual conversations we had in there. All my "estimations" are built upon "theories" of how Scum would have planned ahead for each event thus far. We know they didn't know about the events in advance, so they had to figure out plans while we were told about the details as well.

I want us in the 9 members team with 4 Scums it it. The other team should have a 6T-2S which makes them a better "unified front" overall.

However, Almost50 quickly falls apart under a mild challenge from Dwlee, and becomes immediately defiant and petulant. This has some red in the blend!

I object to this comment. One morning I looked up the thread and I saw that the parachute countdown was down to 2 minutes. I had noticed that the parachutes dropped reasonably quickly after the timer, so I decided to grab a cuppa, and hit the F5. The premise that "scum was counting on town" to grab parachutes for them is faulty because every player had to take one for themselves first, and it was very tedious and time-consuming. The chance of players grabbing a parachute for you were dismal, were it not for Dwlee's zeal, and Firebringer's to some extent.

Mama Ru grabbed hers after I failed to even show up to grab her one. Scum had counted on TOWN to grab them parachutes so that TOWN LOOK BAD when Scum flip. She had previously stated she had no time and no stamina for that (twice in main htread and once in the PT. Her statement in the PT was even stronger and someone "appealing" albeit indirectly.)

So that's how I decided NumberQ & Mama Ru were the Scum in my Team

Here, I like the reasoning that Firebringer grabbed a parachute for Spamton to take it away from another player in his team (probably me!) but I don't understand the "double failed attempts" that's just bad makeup.

I would like to take the chance to remind everybody of my case on FB. Him grabbing a parachute for Spamton was him denying a stronger Town player from getting one, and his double failed attempts to grab it was him giving NumberQ the chance to get his.

There are some hints of red, but overall Almost50 earns a bouquet of light green flowers.

Can you give me the tl;dr of why you insta-paired with Toog?

I did explain it. I had Toog as a Town lean but everyone else was SRing him, so I wanted to make sure. I know Town!Toog gets SR'd for his play style. but I have been able to recognize and defend Town!Toog numerous times before, and I did link two recent games as evidence I can read the guy. Like, I also TR'd Math -who was also widely SR'd at the time- but he's on my team so couldn't have offered him a dance. I don't even think I could have made much of a PT with -say- you.. or Dwlee.. or MT... etc. so it was pointless for me to try any of those.

A50 is town solely for picking me as a dance partner before any other picks happened. I wasn't a wide town read outside of my team, and even then I was probably low town read with in them. Scum doesn't pick a slot with high elimination equity out the gate for the event. It doesn't make sense.

As I recall, Norwee didn't receive too many votes and instead Noraa got killed. My squad + Loki voted Norwee, and like everybody voted Noraa. I'm judging from context that my squad was advocating pretty hard for Norwe. And yet, no scum claimed to vote Norwe seemingly.
