my plan is to read redtea's iso soon. i will almost assuredly derive nothing of value from it, but it's an exercise that must be undertaken all the same. then i'll try to do the harder part of sorting the other direction of interaction

Can you elaborate on the no lim thing? Idk why you're inclined for no lim but you also think a lim is best.In post 2754, MegAzumarill wrote:I wanna send shirou but it's a bad idea today.
Makes me inclined for no lim but limming prolly best
Most likely lim for me atm is getting on the morph wagonHey!-

Haven't matched it but I want shirou to get their result in case they are town then I want to kill shirou because I don't think they are
This what I want to do most and no lim gives extra cop checks when we have up to 5 unused checks remaining.
But EV tends to favor limming every dayImprefection is the spice of life.-

Limming someone means that we don’t have to use a cop check on them later at night and narrows down the PoE significantly already.
With 2 unused cop claims mafia can’t hope to kill all of them (assuming one of them isn’t mafia already). With three nights left people are going to be guaranteed to get cop shots off.
This is why I think massclaiming is the right play for today. Mafia’s going to kill cops like Shirou and I anyway. Unless you want to massclaim on Day 5 when there’s 5 people left in the worst case scenario I think today is the time to do it. Doctors should claim what night they’re on so that they have to follow through with agreed upon targets. Cops don’t have to claim their night if they don’t want to.
Doctors: Enchant, AL, Imaginality
Cops: Fua, Shirou, NQ
Not massclaiming at this point in a known setup is the wrong move.-

I am thinking about massclaim, it does feel like a good idea especially since we are going to need to resolve what we want to do with Shirou and his claim - I am of the mind that he's likely just scum, but I'm not opposed to playing things out in a safe way in case he is town if we have a good plan for it - on that I think Meg is right, it would be correct to get his result and then lim him, then at least if he's town we would trust his result (especially useful if he claims a guilty)
fua you mentioned this but I want to be a bit more explicit, I actually don't think it's correct for cops to claim nights until we know what the doctor claims are. If there is a night we don't/won't have coverage, cops need to be able to hide whether their check is before/after that night"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I think at seventeen now I believe the only real monsters might be the type of liar where there's simply no way to tell. The ones who give nothing away"-

Yeah, I get that. I did mean until we know what the doctor claims are. Thank you for correcting me.In post 2762, GuiltyLion wrote:I am thinking about massclaim, it does feel like a good idea especially since we are going to need to resolve what we want to do with Shirou and his claim - I am of the mind that he's likely just scum, but I'm not opposed to playing things out in a safe way in case he is town if we have a good plan for it - on that I think Meg is right, it would be correct to get his result and then lim him, then at least if he's town we would trust his result (especially useful if he claims a guilty)

does massclaim order matter at all? I'll wait to see what a few other people think about this idea before claiming anything"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. Yeah because it means protecting a cop who’s going to use their check which is more valuable than preserving a confirmed townie anyway. In post 2768, numberQ wrote:fua, you want doctors to out their nights AND only protect a publicly agreed upon target? Doesn't that just tell scum exactly who they can kill on any given night?-

huh
I thought this was a fakeclaim from the start to be honest due to fua needing to "explain" their scum read on morph.
You...don't really explain a scum read on a guilty when you're kinda ~trusted~ by people...you just out the result and eliminate?
Hm, I still think Morph can be scum nonetheless though"Que será, será. Whatever will be, will be."
"listen i know its funny to say shirou is scum but shirou is just literally crazy"~Firebringer on town!Shirou
"Not if it was Volpe's PLAN all along that we lim him and when he flips red we think Wooper is scum"~town!Norwee jokes about scum!Shirou's actual plan

I mean there are two claimed cops already. Not hard for mafia to tell who might be protected. The point of this is to preserve a cop check at night which will confirm a townie or confirm a scum, the latter of which is a trade I’m completely willing to make.In post 2768, numberQ wrote:fua, you want doctors to out their nights AND only protect a publicly agreed upon target? These are both fair points even if you sent one of them by accident lolIn post 2771, fua wrote:
