partly! also if something were to go wrong in a group of 4 townreads that would be valuable info, whereas if something went wrong in a 3-1 group we would assume we knew why, perhaps foolishly

I disagree. As long as the hoods follow my strategy, who is in doesn't matter.

My preference is mainly for people we don't want to see potentially exploded on night 1. Giving null reads control over whether someone lives or dies seems un-ideal. The only point of concern would be someone like frogster who expressed a desire to reflexively kill any defuser. (I do think frogster is likely town at this point, contrary to my first impulse, but don't feel like going into detail right now).
That was an idea I floated out based on the setup spec i did before gamestart. I've been an advocate since the beginning of examining the top few approaches. Right now I'm more about killing most defusers without being reflexive about it.

I'm interested in exploring these ideas further. I'm not worried about having slim pickings on D2 and D3 because I think it will help with scum hunting and force out more AI information.

I want to bring this up here too. Seems good for considering the drawbacks of a defusal heavy plan.

oh. yea i kinda didn't believe them when they said that and assumed they did have some sort of gutread at least. like i think is legit scummy and i doubt dwlee voted based on nothing, there must have been some reason to choose andante. but you're right that switching to the gamestate read as the main reason for scumreading is.... interesting, at least. i would lower my townread of them if they're serious about that

Is praetorian koba...

Also: I didn't /read/ a single Andante post prior to but I had noted big posts and wanted to poke the bear so to speak.

Also:

What specifically don't you like about Dwlee's push?
Felt opportunistic to me like someone pushing a known easy mislim

I gave some major side eye

The reasoning given post hoc ("too many people townreading andante --> andante scum) is pretty meh. It's so early in the game, it feels weird to make a gamestate read like that when people's reads are subject to change easily
Also, what about Andante's play makes her town in your eyes?
Helped push the game out of the 12 pages of mech talk, feels similar to her other town games
was a joke. is unrelated to . Also: "it feels weird to make a gamestate read like that," well lemme show you some evidence:
