IDK but they've done essentially nothing, there was the weird takes on the vig claims and I feel very strongly that they should be in any PoE and no one seems to be paying any attention to them at all.

Kind of feel pretty similar to how I felt about gamma when I replaced in.

Ok I actually did the thing and briefly skimmed gammas iso in white flag which is the team mafia game she is referring to.

And I have to say...I find your day one play there completely different in a lot of different ways. And the most obvious one is that you DO seem invested in finding scum and flipping someone you're suspicious of. You DO seem invested in engaging with people about their reads. You DO feel like you're trying to scum hunt.

Now, its a team mafia game so everyone amps up their tryhard a little bit for those games so I don't think its like definitive or anything, but its the game YOU brought up as the one where I should remember as you playing like you're playing here as town is normal.

And its simply not. It's not remotely the same. It's not even close.

That's about the extent of it, and if I'm being super serious, my scum reading is always just kind of like this where I struggle to articulate exactly what it is that makes me think someone's scum. Sometimes I'm able to find good post-hoc justification for that feeling and sometimes I'm not.

I will say that I'm not really super motivated to try, because there seem to be 3 or 4 people in this game who seem to be trying to read everything I say in the least favorable light and I don't think I have the ability to actually get my way this game so I'm not really inclined to put much effort into it. Eventually you folks who keep doubtcasting everything I'm saying will flip me and then maybe you'll go back and reevaluate my reads and see that I was right about gamma and hey maybe I was right about other things as well.

I still feel I'm clearly not going to endgame here so I'm just saying what I think and waiting to get flipped still.

I think there were also two distinct parts of the vig reaction and the immediate one was townie and the followup wasn't but I'm not going to go back and check.

Its also incredibly funny to me that people are taking my townie reticence on MT when tons of people who had told me the slot that was town when I was pushing it were now happy to vote them, which I would never fucking have if I were scum bussing my partner, is somehow scum indicative.

I think that point is almost comically bad. But people keep saying it and eventually that makes it true in a game of mafia.

i don't think it's very unlikely that either (1) scum!mena did a quick iso of the slot he replaced in, (2) scum!mena got told in the scum pt that his slot claimed vt

and lying about it is very easy to do

and considering i know you're aware of scum!mena's caliber, i am Skeptical that you somehow think this is town-indicative for him?

eh for me it was just the timing of the way he acted like he forgot/didn't know the slot claimed, I'm not saying making the correct VT claim in and of itself is town-indicative, rather the execution of how he carried out that whole sequence of real time interaction with scamper

if he's scum it was very smooth, like I guess I just disagree with you that making the sequence of posts 5803, 5807, 5809, 5813, 5817, 5818, 5842, 5851 in real time over the span of 15-20 minutes is "very easy" to do

I haven't been scum in a year+ so maybe I'm overestimating the difficulty but idk I'd be anxious making all those posts and I don't sense any anxiety in them
