It's a pretty straightforward question.
It's not. I don't know what a mega athlete is.
You're sort of a universal gamer FMPOV and seem to strive to do well at all of them. Do you apply a similar mindset to athletic stuff?
I should have said mega gamer rather universal gamer to make the analogy more clear about what I'm asking.
Bruce: Terry. I've been thinking about something you once told me... and you were wrong. It's not Batman that makes you worthwhile; it's the other way around. Never tell yourself anything different.
Terry: ...Thanks.

I don't have very many athletic pursuits. I did when I was younger. I'm in a bowling league but I'm pretty bad.

I don't really play video games either.

It kind of just sounds like you're asking if I'm very competitive and the answer to that is yes?

As always though I'm less confused about what you're asking (although this time I was confused by what you were asking) and more confused by its relevance to anything.

I guess my issue is that I don't really see you having any preferences really besides fire. But you sure keep coming up with vague reasons people you're town reading could possibly be scum that you might be able to come back to later, but you don't actually seem that invested in them being scum.

How convinced are you that fireisred is scum and why?
at this point in the game I think everyone left is relatively towny

it is very hard for me to get as confident a scum read on someone as I could on say obscure

everyone left is also a very good player so I really feel like when I *do* get confident on something I have to triple check my work elsewhere because well I hate being wrong.

fireisredsir is the slot that I feel like I have the least amount of reasons to rule out. he is the slot I've suspected the most off and on throughout the game. and I feel like he is the slot most playing for a day past this day phase.

frogster seemed the most obviously scummy to me and he was where I was fixated on at day start, but I did my double check thing and I feel like I found pretty good reasons to rule him out. granted, I don't think everyone agrees with that.

I've thought you were town Shea through most of the game. I've had a couple moments of doubt, largely at the end of the previous day. But I don't think you are really playing to end game and I think the way you've behaved concerning your relationships to flipped scum is... unlikely to be scum. I've seen you play scum before and you're more subtle than that.

That being said, I won't lie and say that I will be super surprised if I'm wrong on fire. I find this point in the game really hard and I wish I could have more confidence. I'm continuing to look at fire and the other slots that feel like I could most be wrong on right now because I'm looking for that AHAH moment that affirms my confidence and solidifies that I'm going in the right place.

and I realize from that outside that isn't super detectable from sorting and keeping options open but I'm probably gonna keep doing and keep posting in thread about it because like it's the only way I'm gonna end this day feeling comfortable about where I'm voting

Okay. I was asking because despite how competitive you are everyone burns out after a while and I feel like you would have burned out by now if you are scum.

PEdit

You're in luck then because I'm making a fairly nuanced point. It takes a lot of energy to manufacture all these lies at the rate you would be doing if you are group!scum. I get that lying can become autopilot after a while but it still requires metabolizing glucose and increases stress on the central nervous system for most people AFAIK.

I don't think you've played a bunch of mafia games either recently based on your comments about "coming out of retirement" so it's not like your scum play is likely to be at its peak here.

If you were some marathon runner as one of your hobbies I might be more inclined to think differently. You're saying that you aren't and didn't understand the context of my question so I'm inferring you're telling the truth and therefore are incapable of executing your play in this game as scum.
Bruce: Terry. I've been thinking about something you once told me... and you were wrong. It's not Batman that makes you worthwhile; it's the other way around. Never tell yourself anything different.

I mean the context of that post is that she was scum reading me and marci because we were pressuring her iirc. I don't remember if that's the same reason for HEM, maybe it was. Did they have a spat at some point too?

this is valid
Ausuka actually has the context for why I thought this

{Datisi, fireisredsir}
{ConManMick, Dannsflor, VP Baltar}

Ftr I am starting to reconsider Datisi because even though I think he's been scummy I suck hard at reading him and I don't think he's doing much in the pursuit of like being Super Town and positioning himself for endgame? Does that makes sense??

Also these reads are more "vibes" than "people sorted by actual probability of being scum based on their scumrange and my ability to read them"
Noticing multiple SRs on Dann, I do wanna know what’s up w that because I feel like he does have an odd habit of getting yeeted D1 as scum, tho only 1 instance comes to mind immediately

Gamma doesn't talk about fire very much at all. What is there is all vague defense stuff rather than the bus stuff we see with her partners that have flipped.

There's several posts vaguely defending fire early in the game before we even get to the "I'll pencil you in for town" post.

If anything it looks more like pocketing attempts than bussing, but on the other hand its hard to believe that he wouldn't have ANY partners in town reads.

I will straight up disregard all reason if you have a PR dream again. You can come back and be like, “I dreamt that Locke is a N2 Bulletproof Multitasking Cop and Self-Targeting Doctor,” and I will go, “Okay, Locke kill it is then.”
