On the sheriff issue I agree with Pooky's take, but I think it's mostly a moot point because opinions can differ. The thing that bothered me the most was how I felt like you were using "weasel words" while trying to back up your stance.

Along the lines of what Datisi has mentioned.... Your language here acknowledges that it was a indeed a problem and was almost not figured out.

I watch a lot of videos of criminal interrogations, and these kinds of phrasings show up all the time from guilty people trying to explain themselves. Though merely using words/phrases like these isn't a sign of guilt in itself, it's part of the accumulation of many factors that point towards guilt.

Yes he knows this is how I read him cuz I pretty much said it to him last game we played but I don't think he's actually good at replicating his town coolness when he's mafia he tends to be self conscious and jams himself up.
