Spoiler: Scene 18
The MovieThe Detective, The Librarian, and The Writer gathered in The Writer's room. They had just received a cryptic message from an unknown sender, hinting at crucial information about The Voice's plan.

The Writer had pulled up the message on his computer and was trying to decipher it while the Detective and The Librarian looked over his shoulder.

"What do you think this could mean?" The Writer asked, pointing to a particular line in the message.

"It's hard to say," The Librarian said, rubbing her chin. "But it definitely sounds like a clue."

The Detective, who had been pacing back and forth, stopped suddenly. "Wait a minute. This might be a reference to an old case I worked on."

He pulled out a file from his bag and quickly flipped through the pages. "Yes, here it is. The handwriting in this message matches the handwriting in the notes from that case."

The Librarian and The Writer exchanged a puzzled look.

"What case?" The Writer asked.

"It was a case involving a notorious criminal organization," The Detective said, flipping through the pages. "They were involved in all sorts of illegal activities, but we were never able to pin anything on them."

The Librarian leaned in closer. "Do you think this could be related to The Voice?"

"It's possible," The Detective said, looking up at them. "If we can track down any leads from that old case, it could give us a new angle on The Voice's plan."

The Writer nodded. "Let's do it. We need to find out what The Voice is up to before it's too late."

As they gathered their things and headed out the door, The Voice watched from afar, his plans for the city slowly coming to fruition.

Hmmm I actually like klick's responses to me the last couple pages the more I think about them

I mean, they annoy me but I mean like then from a game perspective

Ok new plan, it's time to shake up my reads, I'm gonna go home, sleep like three hours, go back to work for another 16 hour shift, hopefully nobody spits in my face again, then once my brain is nice and smooth like a chicken breast I'll be better able to sort this game State

In post 4267, Titus wrote:4262 - I can't believe you just said that. Hollow posting is literally what scum do. To say it's not scum indicative is baffling.

So in a past game (Not Quite Normal Multiball 2) I asked Titus (Nashville Dreams) what she had done in the game that she wouldn't do as scum. She gave me this answer.

Titus wrote:As for 11692, I don't feel I have a townrange or a scumrange. It's more about my relationships. So I'm not going to pretend there's a magical towntell for reading me.

Important disclaimer: Titus was scum in that game, and so had incentive to lie about her answer. But I think it was a true statement and reflects what she actually feels about her own scum game vs her town game. Titus can feel free to correct me if that's wrong.

What I don't understand is how Titus can be of a mindset that 'scum make hollow posts', when she is aware that's not the case
based on her own approach to playing as scum.

Is she saying that players that
aren't her
make hollow posts? She seems to be positing that scum *by nature* make hollow posts. Why is she the exception to that rule?

My interpretation is that the 'scum make hollow posts' thing is nonsense being used to justify pushing through her agenda (the 'I can't believe you just said that' is there to discredit the idea that what she's saying could be anything but common sense).

A more charitable interpretation is that she just has a very inflated opinion of her own scum game and thinks everyone else makes hollow posts but she doesn't.

I'd like to hear if anyone has thoughts on this

I think that making "hollow" posts as scum (or town) is largely a play style issue

How do I come out of that interaction looking like mafia?
The whole exchange came across as not authentic. Klick is pressing you to explain why you are town (which is rather pointless because most people are going to profess their innocence and manipulate their play in a way that this isn't going to help much.) You then at first refuse but ultimately relent, and the way you executed that comes out as pretty staged. I do think you come out looking better than Klick through the whole interaction, but it still really feels staged and unnatural like two scum buddings distancing from each other but then finding a way to magically town read each other. (Okay, Klick is the one who gets the magical town read on you; I don't think you said whether you town read Klick or not after the exchange, but that's beside the point.)

Going to point this out as it looks like they didn't understand the setup. But I'm also going to point out that I asked them if they read the setup in my very first post this game in post , and that in post they make a comment about the setup and say town should mass claim and that Alisae had looked over the setup.

Okay so I don't see the purpose in this question at all. The idea here i guess from Dunnstral is
he thinks I didn't read the setup
, I don't know what this tells a town or scum dunnstral if I did or didn't.
I have not read setups beforea s both alignments.
Couldn't Firebringer read the setup but not understand the implications? This doesn't seem that contradictory.

FB 3447 caught my attention. The first time you said you didn't act I thought you could be doing something to avoid giving too much information about your role, but then you posted your role and you said again that you didn't use it. I'm quoting specifically the part that says that your targets would be informed they were visited because I don't understand why would you NOT use this power if it could get you conftowned (as if, someone would confirm that you successfully used an amnesiac role)
woah
I would like more people to talk about this.
This is completely expected from FB, and I think NAI. I cannot recall a time where I saw FB trying to work mech advantage in a game. In fact, my brain says that FB, as town, has actively worked against me and Cerb when we were mechanically breaking a game. A couple times.
And Alisae? As I pointed out, they apparently read the setup.
Oh that's a good point. Hmm....
