And Snivy is really the only legit read I have now, I do think Merlyn has a towny vibe so far, as does Aureal.
But Snivy is really pinging me, and their most recent post about not caring about day talk seems like so sketch.....glad Merlyn called him out on it.
Also, I feel like this game can play to our individual strengths well. I think I am going to defer to you on the Projects, you are a bit more mech savvy than me.....I will focus more on getting reads on players.....a bit of divide and conquer strategy. I think I only have like two games with him and they were a while back, but in the one I remember most I was scum vs town!Cakez and your description doesn't sound far off from his play there. He caught me pretty early on so I know he can hunt when it comes down to it.

hi i've read some of the game already. wanted to clear something up--eliminations are good for town and town-directed kills are good for town. if a townie gets killed with sacrifice they probably would've been eliminated later, and otherwise we get a cop guilty. i feel confident we want to use sacrifice twice this game. maybe there's a catch but we can only go off of the information we have.
we disagree a bit on who's scum, some of us thought that devil were scummy early on but that could be some of drew's confident personality. meow is maybe our biggest scumread tbh, but maybe that's best to address later anyway.
we have no particular desire to eliminate any of the current biggest wagons, so time to read up i guess.

Ughhhhhh, we can't be doing this near deadline. We'd have to coordinate who should vote for sacrifice to get towny people on that, or decide who we want to sacrifice beforehand, we don't have time for that. We don't even know what we want to do with the money. This is not a good use of D1...
I don't really like this rep-in but calling for Sacrifice and declaring meow their top SR might even be too openwolfy to come from scum?
Definitely not paired with camel unless they're doing some crazy openwolfing.

Because it seems like you’re targeting me now because you agreed to the plan, and i turned on you, when that’s specifically shown to not be the case.
Day 2 Sacrifice is BAD. It's just mechanically bad. We have to either forgo a main development project or a Bureau project in order to Sac tomorrow and it sets us too far back in gaining town power.
I don't mean I'm convinced to do Sacrifice today when I say this, but this is the only good argument for it that I've seen this game.

i really don't like this post - it's such a specific feeling for something so like, nebulous. it's at least true most people seem to townread me, but the idea i have control over some kind of narrative feels weird; i was opposed to the three leading wagons for most of the game, including when infinity made this post. like, the leading wagons are snivy, marci and cakez, none of whom i have ever voted or pushed for - why would a feeling i might be pushing a pro-scum narrative make you want to vote for them less, or not more? snivy voted penguin, but for his own reasons; i've never particularly felt like my opinions are being listened to or followed, except a bit of mechanics stuff. similarly, devil has a lot of posts - most of which are mechanic-y or shitpost-y - i don't think they have a lot of control over the game at all. fl could conceivably be driving the narrative, because he's loud and the thread kind of follows what he does, but neither of the other reads make any sense to me and i'm really not sure how you get a 'feeling' for something which is such, like, an arbritary and complex concept, or how you get to that feeling in the first place?

Re: Torture - I'm of the opinion that confirming someone's alignment can be beneficial to the town as a whole even if I'm not personally scumreading them, so I probably wouldn't object to targeting FL. If we want a guilty, though, I don't think that's the best course of action.
RCE might be a good target, I've been finding them difficult to read. I'll look into other targets though.

Hmm. I don't know if I agree with that, they also seemed to be pushing you for your FL read and 1435 (they posted a follow-up to that in 1616), and I don't think their read of me is actually all that clear. They seemed pretty hedgy on me in 1505. It might be good to post that in thread though, we'd probably get clarification on it.

No I feel that is actually a pretty good representation of us, minus the Meow read dissonance.
I won't make you post it, but I am kind of a fan personally.
It's a good representation, I just look at it and get a gut feeling I'm townreading scum.
I could post it with meow in two different positions on the list. They can be Schrödinger's read (and it makes sense since they're a cat lol).
