I don't instinctly townread modifiers unless its extremely negative utility, such as miller, ascetic, hated (But given how it works here, no).

I've been a scum miller before.
Let's be real for a minute. None of the roles you listed are likely town because of some inconceivable mechanical advantage/disadvantage they impart or because there's no way they wouldn't work as a scum role. They're thought of as likely town because of convention, how often they're used as town versus scum.
(Except ascetic. A scum ascetic would have immunities to investigative and blocking roles so I have no idea why you would automatically townread an ascetic.)

On the topic of roles, ascetic town is disadvantage to town and they are more likely to first out that modifier than a scum would. Also I haven't seen many scum ascetics. But thats kind of irrelevant to the subject.

My immediate thought was that it was a reaction test, your later post gave evidence otherwise and now I'm asking you to clarify on your position. Calling it a "scumclaim" made it sound like you were arguing that it did ACTUALLY NECESSITATE it.

On a more serious note, I'm kinda in the same boat, except it's Alabaska that I'm scum reading, and not TTH.

I'd be willing to lynch Alabaska right now, except for the fact that I felt exactly the same way about him around this time in Earth 1.

Clumsy makes some great points there. Fire Assassin, while your idea is noble it is not really realistic at all. if you get too paranoid about ever mislynching you just end up doing nothing. I think no lynching is possible the single most anti-town strategy in this type of set up. Clumsy is right - most of our best info will come from how people play differently on the different earths. While mislynching is always bad, the cloud has more silver lining here than a lot of other setups. If we just take it one at a time (again, completely unrealistic anyway), we are just playing two micros. Seems inherently worse than playing two micros simultaneously that give you plenty of information about each other

Ircher kill seems reasonable, scum on world one versus town on world two could mean that he could be read as town more easily. Will be interesting to read clumsy today. I don't know why people are discussing the voting mechanic so heavily; in fact panther's early jump on TTH is the closest thing to a scumtell I've seen today. Looks like a scum trying to start a wagon on the back of town brownie points from the first world then backing off when nothing came of it. Even though these are different worlds if people are not careful their reads will bleed over easily; people who were Very Town last world I think will be overrated (for lack of a better term) in this world.

Why is it good for us to be playing the two games at the same time, but bad for us to be using reads from one game to help along reads in the other game? Isn't that the whole point of playing the two games at the same time rather than playing two separate micros?
