And that's exactly why we don't need to worry about managing the draft. No matter if scum get roles, they're public, so they're going to have to use them in a way they can explain. How the roles are used is more important in this game than who has them.

Yes, of course. The setup has also obviously been designed for us to do it this way because of the presence of the Tree Stump and Food Vendor. I'm actually rather confused on what the Vendor's purpose really is. He can confirm whether or not one of the Room Roleblockers used their role, but that raises a couple of questions I have for the mod:

@mod: 1. Are we informed if certain night actions (not Watcher/Tracker of course but others) are performed against us? 2. Does someone receive food from the Vendor if they conducted a night action and therefore "left the room" temporarily?
@mod: To try and clarify on question 1, are we informed if we're Bus Driven or Jailkept?

Not unless the role says the target is informed
(I assume you mean the whole room vending) Yes, due to NAR

Actually I'm doing a double-take now. It seems scary on paper but I feel it might be less advantageous in the long-term.

It's two free kills, but two free kills would require you to lose 2/5 of your team. I don't think that's worth it.

If I was scum and had the UB on my team, I think I'd prioritize getting a protective or disruptive role.

PEDIT: Yes I meant Carter, thanks.

I specifically went 1 because I am rusty and wanted to block scum trying to be cheeky. So both don't care about getting an underpowered role from duplicates.

Figuring scum would almost certainly take an odds on punt on a single member going for 1.

I think the theory that they would double is both incorrect and wifom-y. It ensures they don't get high picks. Which is bad form. I would 100% be spreading those draft numbers out.

Yeah, I would say almost certainly one of us is scum. Therefore one of the other two. Again Wifom-y, but much more solid than looking in the 6's

To expand on this thought, if I was scum I wouldn't be worrying about WIFOMing people speculating alignment based on draft numbers. Getting the roles we want as a team would be a much, much more important priority.

Give the weakest roles to the Null/scum players.

If they go for strong roles, we lynch.

Don't think thats really reasonably possible, but would like to do it.
I'm not a fan of a plan like this. We can't possibly have reads on people enough to be able to sort this in the first place and what they choose their roles can have a big impact on our reads and how the game plays out.

I'm not interested in trying to create a stranglehold on the game with the threat of lynching people who don't conform to exactly who's demands by the way.

So no, let people choose their roles and stop with this silliness.
Trying to mess with choices is dumb.

I have two that I would 100% be going for over anything else, even if I was 1st pick, and even though they are far from the strongest roles. Any strongarming any way is bad form and doesn't equate for differences in playstyle and night actions judgement.

I'm glad you're in the game too!

When you inned I was going to tell you I was happy you were joining, but almost every game lately that I've been looking forward to and told someone I'm looking forward to playing with them, I end up drawing scum. And my soul can't take another scum game so I just peeped out and was going to say hi to you in game.

But you didn't go anywhere right? I do hope you're town and we work together more like we do when we hydra and not like team mafia where it was a disaster :)
