But hold on! If we have several Mafia teams, why the heck do we have only one kill??

We're 2/2 for scum deaths, why assume only three or maybe four scumteams? I wouldn't be surprised if there are more than four.

Neither would I. I was just being conservative while I tried to run the theory through my mind. The last time I played a game with so many factions it took me a while to figure it out too. (Funny that in that particular game Kuroi ended up being our S1 lynch)

I agree on the premise but disgree with the reasoning. I think it might be scums wanting to avoid being venged. The best way to do it is to lynch a non-town so we know they have no venge kill. (Watch everyone who jumps OFF that wagon after this post)

I think there can be more than one motivator here. I agree that that is one.

I mean, seriously.. I've just ended a dayless game where I explicitly sent out 2 announcement on 2 successive nights outing 2 scums and signing my name, and Alisae still wasn't sure about me!!!! Like why would I have outed myself when I could have faked a signature (many others did from both sides)? If either of N_M or BTD flipped green I would have been the next Town Vig target for certain (Thank God that was Comm and he both had good reads of his own AND trusted me).

Back to this game: Why would I want to play down (or exaggerate) the # of scums?? What is the scum motive behind me doing either? Why would I not shut up and let you all make your own estimations, or not at all.

And before you respond with something like "to deceive the town and/or to appear townie", why would I even want to appear townie when there are as many Mafia duets? If Town won't lynch me, Mafia will. And if I'm not lynched I'll be NK'd anyway. THINK, Leon. THINK.

Firescreamer, cult/jester/survivor are pretty common to specify at the beginning of the game as far as whether they exist or not. A jester isn't a pink elephant. There isn't a jester.

Up until (and including) the post I'm quoting:

Top Tier Town: Tywin (vig shot), FireScreamer (eliminating Gamma with vengeful)
Second Tier Town: Massive (lyncher's target)
Third Tier Town-Lean: Leon, Chara, Dodge (whole play + meta on all 3)

Everyone else I have different degrees of confidence on my reads on them and these change by the post, plus judging by the sheer number of scums (based on estimation) I probably wouldn't oppose lynching any of them.

STILL, if I had a say on it I'd classify them from least desirable lynch to most desirable like this:

{Maria} << Flying too low under the radar. I haven't seen her play in a game this size before though.

Okay, I get the idea of setting Gamma as the vengekill target so we can lynch someone else. I don't like it because now you've resigned yourself to lynching town, but whatever. I still don't think that thought comes from town instinct (oh so if we mislynch I'm ensured I'm not killed because Gamma has to be)

Ultimately, Gamma has put himself in a place where he can't be left alive. Not for a day, not for two, not at all. Whether by lynch or a vengekill that's something we have to deal with. Just like I forced Math to kill me last Kuroi game. Gamma made his bed, now he has to sleep in it.

He is NOT town. If you have a town role PM, then he needs to be killed for you to fulfill your win condition. If you believe that he is 3rd party who happened to be aligned with scum, you're gullible. Either way, he still has to die.

Leaving him alive still benefits scum and gives 0% benefit to town.

It is really simple. Anyone outright advocating for leaving Gamma alive past this lynch is claiming scum. It is a scum claim 100%. Who wants to raise their hand and challenge me on this?

I've just checked and DN did have 21 player slots indeed. In my mind I had always though it was a 17 players game though. My bad.

Why lynch gamma today? It's free to look elsewhere. Either we lynch another scum who actually has a shot to win the game or we lynch a townie and they kill Gamma anyway.
