Well because tempting as it is to say I am a perfect scumhunting goddess I have been known to, on some rare occasions, actually end up being wrong.

And thusly I would prefer to have the time were that to occur.

...Also, Priscilla wanted that time, so.

On the one hand.
Dead scum is dead scum.
On the other hand.

I'm hoping to fuck that one of those two were scum with Peptobislawl.
Because we've got Orange Scum (Titus's partner), White Scum (Majiffy's partner), and Purple Scum (Almost50's partner).
If one of those is Peptobislawl's partner, we've still got majority right now.

If not, if Peptobislawl's partner is still alive, we still need scum in order to lynch scum.

But at least on the bright side.
I'm reasonably sure that there's only one scum of each team left, so each eliminated scum from this point on should be a scumteam GONE gone.

On that note,
VOTE: Lil Uzi Vert.

...I'm apparently bad at math.
No need to worry at all actually at this point.

Lynch LUV.
He flips scum. (8.)
Lynch McMenno.
He flips scum. (6.)
Since we can afford to, lynch Dodge. He's town, he shoots Ginngie and we win. He's not, we have four alive into night, nightkill makes three.
And in final three we just lynch Ginngie. Ginngie's somehow town he gets a vengekill but that's not something we should ever have a need to worry about.
(I'm saving Ginngie for last but Ginngie could easily go before Dodge, the order doesn't matter so much as it does that we stay the fuck away from lynching Priscilla/MariaR/gerry/Leonshade.)

Prolly, but there's possibly four scum alive, i.e., Dodge is also scum. But since there's
nine
alive, and if we assume one nightkill a night, that's four chances to lynch, so we can afford to lynch all four--plus. Even if one of them is town. The vengekill means they just shoot within the pool.

Literally the only thing which could lose us the game at this point is a lolvengekill on the townbloc.

The only acceptable name in there is Gin.
If you're town (I don't think you are), you shooting gerry OR MariaR would be tantamount to game-throwing.

Gin, McMenno, Dodge.

That's the scum pool outside of you; if you're town, that's who you shoot.

Period.

(Though for personal reasons I'd prefer McMenno or Dodge, because Ginngie is the best. And she's helping out.)

Priscilla came riding in,
She's the mighty one set to win.
MariaR is poised to strike,
She's someone everyone likes.
gerryout is around to assist,
For he's found himself among the best.
Leonshade looks mighty fine,
He's a pretty swell guy.

And they're joined by mastina,
Whose job it is to have fun.
"We dominated all opposition,
We're the best that's ever been."

No if you're telling the truth and can vengekill two people then what you do is you take out the people we say to and then you're giving the town basically a free extra lynch from the deal.

So vengekill within Ginngie/Dodge/McMenno.

You being a double-vengeful claim is
more
reason to lynch you. Not less. That's a claim which is best utilized literally right now.

There's not a single day phase more ideal.
Seven players, you're right it might lose the game.
Five players, it definitely could.
But nine players? No risk of losing the game; quite the large chance of outright winning the game.

So we're lynching you.

There are four town players.

The townbloc survived unscathed last night. (I'd legit laugh if Almost50 busdrove the nightkill onto himself by switching places with a member of said townbloc though. :P)
It's sure as fuck not going to be broken apart by you trying to weasel your way out of the lynch.

We are lynching you.
If you are town, you shoot in Ginngie/Dodge/McMenno.
The two players you shoot will flip scum. That will bring us down to six.
The scum's nightkill will bring us to five.

Five alive.
With literally one scumspect.
It's as good a win as you can get.
Fuck it doesn't even matter if two of Ginngie/Dodge/McMenno are town. (They aren't, btw.)

Let's say that one of the townbloc is in fact scum.
There's the extra day to lynch said traitor.

This is literally an autowin of autowins.

Like.
"But if I shoot wrong, we lose", is LUV's excuse for not wanting to be lynched today.
Yet.
The only way we fucking lose.
Is if he is town, and chooses to be deliberately spiteful. By lolvegekilling.

So he's being contradictory.

He's using fear of loss and yet also fear of lolvengekilling yet those two are innately linked together.

There is no rational reason to not lynch him today.

In post 3188, Ginngie wrote:do you have any links to a game you've played with zMuff
Quite a few!
Our link used to go two ways btw.

Tales of You, soulread of us both being town.

Sabotage Mafia, zMuffinman so entrusted me to be town that he gave me his powers. (Not that I made much use of them, but I tried!)

Xenosaga, I was beginning to lose myself so I had to be carried and the link was weaker on my part but he did read me as town.

Serums & Steel, I was playing like scum and knew I was playing scum and couldn't figure out why I was playing like scum and couldn't stop myself from playing like scum so him reading me as scum was justified because he had every reason to. I read him as town though because I knew he was right to be reading me the way he was.

Touhou Imperishable Night, I had the entire scumteam him included absolutely
nailed
, but you can't exactly hammer it in when you're dead.
The Wire, for 90% of the game I had him nailed as scum but in the critical last 10% I second-guessed myself. Technically I got nightkilled and thus it wasn't my responsibility but I was still conftown who dictated how the town voted in a sense after I died so it really was.

In this abomination of a game, he had me pegged for scum.
Similarly, zMuffinman is basically the reason I got lynched this game. (We fought very hard that game to recover. Literally the entire scumteam as the three leading wagons D1. We got the game to mylo and only lost thanks to an awesome replacement who threw into doubt our last scummate being conftown as had previously been assumed.)

That's what I could find with a quick search. (Plus me having fear-killed zMuffinman in Paranoia, but that's something I did when I replaced in during N1 as scum so he never got the chance to read me there.) There's probably more. I just search for zMuf and Rancid, the two names I most commonly would have used.

(Incidentally to this day Sabotage Mafia remains my longest iso of all time. Beating out every single mega-game I've ever been a part of. I've gotten vaguely close, but never have I reached the same level of four-page iso I did that game. How the fuck I managed that, I don't know. I think it had something to do with Sabotage Mafia being one of the longest games of all time both in length and in how long it actually went. I'd say it's a fun read but to be honest I sincerely doubt it would be.)

Mod:
Is the lack of "Teamed with" for the White Mafia intentional?

It does make a difference. (A lack of the 'Teamed with' would imply a third on the team.)
For what it's worth right now we've got a minimum of two scum left (Pepto was paired with one of Titus/Almost50/LUV; the other two's scumbuddies are all we have left), but the answer to this makes a difference to the maximum number of scum.

Pepto was solo-scum and there's no extra white scum, Titus/Almost50/LUV's partners remain, three scum. Pepto was solo-scum and there's extra white scum, four scum remain. Pepto wasn't solo-scum and wasn't paired with flipped scum yet there's no extra white scum, still four scum just a different color of four. Pepto wasn't solo-scum and wasn't paired with flipped scum and there's extra white scum, there's five scum.

For what it's worth I'm strongly leaning towards the first as being the case. Beyond it being the only scenario where there's no scum in the townbloc, it's also just what I kinda
feel
is right. And frankly. I don't want to be wrong. I don't even want to deal with the theoretical what-if. I don't even want to deal with the scenario in which there's 3 scum alive, yet alone, 4 or 5. Aside from how 4+ scum is still unwinnable, there's the heartbreak involved. Pretty much the only name in the townbloc I wouldn't be heartbroken at the betrayal of is Leonshade and even then I'd be disappointed. So. I just. I don't want to so much as deal with a "just-in-case" thing. I don't want it to ever be a bridge we need to cross. But IF it's a bridge we need to cross...then it's certainly not one I'm crossing now.

...Oh, and by the way. The possibility of there being five scum alive (and none of them teamed together) means that scum should still be shooting at scum.

Just.
You know.
In case.

For what it's worth if we're looking to eliminate specific scumteams I'm pretty sure as of this post that McMenno's on Almost50's scumteam.

Look at his wording.
Compare it to the wording and argument Almost50 was making the whole time.

It's basically a word-for-word match, so that means it's likely something they discussed in their mafia topic.

Owen also flipped as being on the same team as another flipped mafia player.

The only way they could be a team is if they're a team of three.
Which is one reason getting an answer from the mod is at least somewhat-important.

Though even if the mod told me that, yes, the lack of "paired with" in the flips is intentional (thus, we have three scum minimum and thus scum in the townbloc), Priscilla would be the absolute last of absolute last people I would call as being scumbuddies. So no. Flavor shouldn't matter here.

Basically I want to map out a plan where both town and scum are working together to eliminate scum, giving scum the illusion they can win the game and yet forcing the scum into a scenario in which the scum can't actually win yet they still work with the town to help ensure the town's victory because they
think
they can win.

(And no. Me saying this out loud won't change my ability to effectively implement it anyway. :P)

Mkay, thanks.
That means absolute complete total worst case scenario right now is four scum alive.
Anything less than that and town's already on lockdown win, since lynch scum + nightkill + lynch scum + nightkill + lynch scum = we win, so.
The one and only scenario town can't auto-win in is if there's two scum in the townbloc.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut...
...I don't actually think this is something we have to worry about?

If there's two scum alive then we win, easy.
If there's three scum alive, then we'll either see the scum in the townbloc shot by scum or we'll be forced to scumhunt but we'll still have a 2/3 chance of getting it right. (The lynch + the vengekill.)

If there's four scum alive, then it's not OUR job to scumhunt; it's the scum's job because scum want to shoot scum too right now.

No matter how you run the math it comes out the same way.

VOTE: McMenno.
If you find an error in my math, all you have to do is not cast your vote on him and point it out. If you don't find anything wrong, then you have every reason to be here.

In post 3222, gerryoat wrote:mastina, don't you find it a bit weird none of your TRs are dying though?
Fuck paranoia.

I will cross that bridge only--and I mean ONLY--if it comes to it.

The scum have incentive to shoot at scum.
The scum also have reason to believe I'm good at scumhunting. They largely know I've identified them. They've seen me be mostly right in my reads. So the scum are going to have some trust in my ability to have accurately identified players as town.

And beyond me.
It's others as well. The thing which makes this a townbloc is that it's
mutual
reads. Now, mutual reads in a normal game is not necessarily town; it could be scum making an artificial bloc. But the thing about THIS game is, it's scumteams of two. And we know at this point that each and every one of the remaining scumteams is down to one member. So that means there's no scumbuddies around. Which means those mutual reads come not from a scumteam...but by people genuinely reading each other as town.

Scum have incentive to scumhunt, scum have incentive to kill other scum during the night, and when you overlay these two it makes sense that scum who are scumhunting can and will identify the townbloc as being town...and thus, attempt to stay away from it. Especially if they trust in my mafia theory (which they should because mafia theory is kinda my thing), and thus, know that they should in fact be avoiding hitting town this game.

...Plus. If scum were aiming for town. I'd be the first one to die, no? (Do you honestly think at this point that scum are afraid of a doctor-type role? 'Cause I wouldn't be as scum.)
Literally everyone townreads me as basically their number one townread, as far as I can tell anyway.
If scum were shooting for town, then I'd be deader than dead by now.
But they're not. They're shooting for scum. And as a result, the townbloc remains.

Well the ABSOLUTE maximum number of town that could EVER be in this game is 7: Not Chara + 6 alive, with one scum left.

...We know that's impossible off of partners/colors though.
The maximum number of town this game is 6: Not Chara + 5 town + 2 scum, because:
-Pepto paired with one of Titus/Almost50/LUV
-The two Pepto's not paired with would therefore still be alive
-Ergo, two scum
-Ergo, five town.

If Peptobislawl's solo-scum, then we get three scum left (meaning one scum in the townbloc), because
-Titus's partner
-Almost50's partner
-LUV's partner
= 3 scum
= 4 town alive + Not Chara for five total town. (This seems to be pushing it.)

If Peptobislawl's scum with someone else, then we get four scum left (meaning two scum in the townbloc and also scum majority today), because
-Titus's partner
-Almost50's partner
-LUV's partner
-Peptobislawl's partner
= 4 scum
= 3 town alive + Not Chara for four total town. (I do not believe this would be the case.)

So you're definitely not wrong in that regard.

Oh my god you have your personal information on there.
Eh for me stranger danger isn't an issue--it'd actually be the opposite I'd be worried about. (When your dad is bigoted in just about every way possible, and your fundamental nature is in conflict with his close-minded "ideals"--if you can even call those demented things such--then when you add in financial dependency on said dad, daddy danger is far more a problem.)

(The full story there's a bit of a long tangent but basically I'm autistic but only just--the "only just" has made it so that I've convincingly faked being normal-albeit-odd-and-slightly-antisocial, and also prevented me from pursuing resources in that department. However, 'only just' is still enough to where I have trouble adulting. It's more than just finances; I don't know how to live on my own on a daily day-to-day basis yet. These are skills that a normal person has mostly down in their teens; I'm in my 20s and I'm only
just
beginning to learn. So I'm not afraid of people knowing my information online. It's actually in a weird way a sort of safety net: "If I suddenly vanish without explanation, this is where you can go to look for me because I'd probably be kicked out and disowned if I did disappear without explanation", essentially. But this is a bit of a heavy topic and you probably don't want me to dampen your mood. <3)

Eh, there's an old saying for this.
How does it go exactly?

You can choose your friends; you can't choose family?

Something like that.

Well I have chosen, and chosen you. <3
(Well Jae's someone I'd say is in a sense chosen family, but they're special. <3)

Fair enough. It does feel awkward talking about them in-thread but that really is the reason more or less why I am so open about personal information, so...now you know. :P

Now let's go talk companionship instead. <3

I have some history with stalkers, so I guess I'm more paranoid from that.
This would proooooooooooobably be a bad time to mention that I'm looking up the origins of the name Priscilla. :shifty:

Ginngie/Leonshade:
Whichever of you gets the nightkill, do please be kind enough to kill the other for us. <3

Because.
You know.
Scum could still be in the majority.

And it'd be necessary to do that.

And you don't want to break up the power girl trio.
You know you don't want to, girl-on-girl is too hot for you to stop it. :P

So please kill each other thanks in advance. :]

...Okay. Here's the plan.
We can't control the scum's nightkill.
But: If we're angry at the results, we lynch again.
If we're not angry at the results, we vote for a tie.

If we're unhappy with Kuroi's answer we vote for the mod.

Neither do I honestly.

Wrestling's never been my thing (it's just not something I really hold an appreciation for; the most I can say of it is that the people who were wrestlers that go on to become actors are often people I respect), so I wouldn't really know.

...I know, me joining two wrestling games in a row while knowing next-to-nothing about wrestling?

Just goes to show you how strongly I placed trust in this to not be a mistake.

And boy am I glad because no it very much was not a mistake. <3

Honestly. I think I would say the same.
I mean when Kuroi created the game he said it would be hard to win but fun even if not winning.

He most certainly succeeded in that goal, I'll give him mad props for that. <3

(Though honestly I think it goes without saying that the reason this game is fun is for the people in it--primarily you and MariaR but also the others too. <3 I don't want anyone to be scum right now because they're all just so ENJOYABLE.)

It's basically that by bedtime tomorrow I have to be basically caught up in EVERY game I'm in

be running both my modded games at full capacity.

If I win, I get to play an extra game I want to; if I lose, then I'll have to out.

So, uh.
I guess the cat's out of the bag. :P

I'd apologize for being a scumfuck, but given literally everyone alive is one, you have no right to be angry at me. :P
I mean.
I'm McMenno's REAL partner.
So I knew that Pepto's partner + Titus's partner + Almost50's partner + LUV's partner + us two = 6/7 scum.
But:
-I legit thought Pepto was partnered with dead scum
-I legit thought there was at least one town player alive, or THREE town players alive if Pepto was in fact partnered with dead scum.

For the record, gerry, I was scumreading you the entire game but I wanted you to think you had me pocketed because faking that read was convenient to dodging the nightkill.
Ditto Leonshade. I did admittedly see streaks of town from you but I was outright lying about townreading you.

I have to admit though.
I was taken aback that literally ALL of Majiffy/Dodge/Almost50 were scum. I thought there might be scum in there but I legit didn't think they all were. (In fact I was pretty sure Majiffy was town at the end!)

And similarly, while I had it in mind that there was in fact the
possibility
that one of MariaR/Priscilla was scum. (I mean MariaR was so town she basically had to be scum from what I knew of her.) I'm quite taken aback you BOTH are. The one and only time I ever suspected Priscilla as being scum was when she was so adamant on ending the game and one post she made (I can't remember which) sounded like a scumslip of knowing there were more scum in the game than a town player should have known about. But since I "knew" there had to be one town alive, I completely and entirely discarded the idea because of the two Priscilla was absolutely the last one I'd have picked for scum.

Also Ginngie not to leave you out, I did <3 you but you were pretty blatantly a scumfuck. I wasn't sure PeregrineV was but the more and more he went on the more sure of it I was and you really can't hide being a scumfuck from me. If I were actually town I'd probably have advocated lynching you first, but sentimentality + opportunism/fear of the nightkill = me trying to appease you.

I'd have kept McMenno alive if I'd known we'd been in an all-scum game ever since massive's demise, but I legit thought there had to be town alive--in increasingly diminishing amounts, sure, yeah, as I saw extra colors of scum and more and more serial killers, but up until Kuroi's announcement I still thought there was either one town or three town alive and thus that I needed to play for the long-game, the endgame.

(And just to put it on the record: Yes I am scum. No, my absence from the game at the beginning was
not
strategic. I mean. I told a little white lie when I said I hadn't read the flips. I read the end of day flips, so I knew Bins had been dayvigged by RadiantCowbells; I knew Gamma Emerald had claimed lyncher-scum on massive, had been lynched, and given massive a lyncher-win; I knew momo/Narna were modkilled. Flips are important for me as scum to know about in case I got to inherit the nightkill--but since I never ONCE got it the whole fucking game, it was a moot point. But I digress. That's the one and ONLY thing I lied about. I was not following along with the game. I was absent entirely for real-life reasons and the accusations otherwise are absolutely despicable.)

For the curious: my personal power is day-and-death-related, which is why I theorized that all scum had a day-action and all town had the vengekill. It was insider knowledge of me having a day power + McMenno having a day power + me having seen nothing but day powers in play. (I was actually a little hesitant to post that because I was terrified that would be a tipoff to scum players that I was scum, but I thought it within reason of a town players' ability to deduce, and thus, that I'd be safe.)

Anyway!

I said this in my mafia PT before the flip, but: to be fully honest. In an all-scum game. I don't really want a win? (I mean I obviously don't want to
lose
, but a win just feels WRONG now.) Everyone living is a different alignment, and with everyone living as a different alignment you're forcing them to play kingmaker and KNOW they are playing kingmaker and essentially have them all KNOW that they are effectively playing a popularity contest, most popular person wins.

It'd feel dirty. It'd feel disgusting. It'd feel cheapened and lessened by how I basically won because of all the scum alive I was the one people liked the most. It'd not be on my skill, on my merit as a scum player. It wouldn't be because I outplayed everyone. It'd simply be--and we'd all know it--because I just outcharmed everyone, and then got a little bit lucky at the very end.

When we still thought there was town. (And I'm pretty sure everyone thought there was a town still.) We were playing mafia. I thought there had to be one town alive if not three. We thought there was an uninformed majority (well minority but still functioning the same way as if a majority) which we needed to manipulate, which we needed to control, which we had the need to be the one endgaming. But now we know that's not the case. And so the game's not mafia anymore. In spite of there being no town, it was a game of mafia up until Kuroi made the announcement because there was the
illusion
of there being a need to be secretive. There was the illusion that claiming scum meant you were condemning yourself to death because there was a town that held influence.

That illusion's gone now though.

And because it's gone.

I don't want to win.
(I mean I'd have felt dirty winning a MariaR-Priscilla lylo anyway to the point where if you two had both been town I legit would have considered this option anyway because I just very much sincerely genuinely didn't want to betray you so utterly.)

So when I said yesterday to vote for a tie.
I wasn't really doing so as a joke.

I don't want this to be popularity or luck.
I want those who made it to this point to
all
win.

So:
VOTE: All surviving players tie for a win.
If Kuroi has any shred of decency this should be allowed.

I'm kinda guessing color-wise that we've got a serial killer, and then four of the five unpaired color mafia alive at this point with Pepto being paired with the fifth, because there's five alive.
Priscilla was one shade of scum we haven't seen.
So was LUV.
So was McMenno (that's me).
So was Almost50.
So was Titus.
Pepto's wording does suggest he had a partner.

But at this point it really doesn't matter I guess.
Kuroi either accepts the draw or forces us to play a popularity contest which stops the game from being fun.
I've had fun up to this point, more fun than I've ever had in a game, but if we're forced to vote off scum players knowing we are keeping them from winning then I'm not going to be having fun anymore.

(And yes I did bus McMenno, but only at a time where there was a plan. We'd worked out a gambit where he was to claim something that'd ensure he wouldn't get lynched yesterday but he wasn't online at the pivotal moment to implement it. Ah well. I did try.)

Anyway I'm leaving for tae kwon do now. (As-is I'm gonna be late. For a brand-new session if I recall correctly. :shifty:)
With luck the game will legit be over (but in a tie) by the time I get home.

I know that there's no way we have two groupscum alive together; we don't have enough people alive for that to be possible.
So there's no scumhunting we can do.

I mean I suppose you could theoretically partner hunt at this point but there's not much of a point to that when we all know that what I'm saying is true.
I don't see the point in continuing the game further; that'd be cruel.
Soyeah.

You could compromise.
Declare it a draw between those still alive, but have us elect one player above all others who deserves the win from the five alive:

"You all won, but this one player you elected to be your winner of winners". A double-win for that player, a single-win for the rest of us. <3

My actual ability gives a slight edge which might tip the scales in someone's favor, and thus, mean there's a game to play because I have an advantage which could decide the win.

I ran the math--literally impossible.
Pepto being partnered with a dead flipped scum leaves four flipped scum without scumbuddies.
Four flipped scum without scumbuddies (I am one of them) means that in order for there to be a complete team of two, we'd have to have six alive.
We do not.

Also Kuroi said in his all-scum announcement: "everyone alive is either scum or a serial killer", implying the fifth is in fact a serial killer, not a surprise third member of a scumteam.

So no. There aren't, we're all solo-scum at this point.

This was similar to my plan actually.

If McMenno and I had both lived to see today (and we had a plan to do exactly that!), then we'd have an auto-win. (Well so we thought.) McMenno couldn't be lynched without me, and I have a power which would make lynching me hand us the victory. (Okay. So it wouldn't give us the win. But it'd give us about a 50% chance at the win.)

The
plan
was for McMenno to claim he shared Pepto's power--and thus, could switch teams to the town, yet this is something he could only do during the night. If he had claimed this, the plan was for me to say "90% sure that's bullshit but it's harmless to test" and then prolly lynch Ginngie. (Sorry Ginngie but you were scum outside of our townbloc. Which had a grand total of zero town in it. :shifty:)

But with Priscilla and MariaR around at exactly the wrong time and McMenno not quite around at the right time he didn't have the chance to claim while he was in serious danger yet not already lynched.

To be honest, since scum nightkills are as far as I can tell not compulsive if the mod doesn't want to let our vote for a draw count we'd be able to force it anyway.
Vote no lynch-->Winner no-kills-->Vote no lynch-->Winner no-kills-->Repeat-->Repeat-->Eventually Happily Ever After triggers regardless.

Can't blame me for either of those.
I still have not used a nightkill the entire game and I'm wondering why the game's still going?
There's three alive; I should be endgamed right now and so should the other person who lost the lottery.

(Like I basically legit don't understand the mechanic/limitation behind the nightkill. It's random as far as I can tell on how it works. I've never gotten it so I don't know what happens. The closest I got to knowing was when I was under the mistaken impression that every scum player submitted their preference for who would die and the person who won the lottery would have their kill go through--but Kuroi told me that wasn't the case. I kinda sorta assume that the nightkill works by him PMing you that you have it, but I don't know the specifics. It's a shame that thanks to the dayless nature of this game that I can't get the achievement which that would be oh so appropriate for though. Like. Kuroi by not handing me the nightkill a single time would literally be handing me that achievement...but said achievement requires me to WIN the game and the only way to WIN the dayless game is to get the nightkill which I haven't gotten and use it thereby negating the achievement. Oh well.)

In post 3482, Leonshade wrote:I want to avenge Priscila, too, but I believe gerry when he says that he only killed Majiffy. So I guess Priscila is already avenged.
Honestly I'm pretty sure Ginngie was her murderer out of jealousy and in fact I was planning on fucking murdering her for it but someone beat me to the punch and I'm slightly miffed I didn't get the chance to off her because I wanted to kill Priscilla's murderer too.

I wish I could give you some sort of proof that I've never had the nightkill but I don't really know how to describe a lack of knowledge of how it works. I can assure you that the nightkills made weren't my modus operandi? As scum I said that if we ever got the nightkill, that we should be aiming for players who weren't definitely town but weren't obviously scum, those in the middle. As in, Majiffy/Almost50/Dodge, and then later, you. (I was actually planning on killing you the night Priscilla died if I won the lottery because I felt like you were the person who best fit this mold.)

McMenno
may
have gotten the nightkill once, but he didn't trust me enough to tell me about it since I only have a hint from him in the scum PT from a full day phase or two later of him having maybe made that one. I'll see if I can pull up the exact timing here.
Well, I guess this was a bastard game.
He did warn us.
I just got a PM that says I won, and to choose who dies.
For Priscila then. <3

Boy oh boy would you ever think you'd see the day when a mafia player is trying to fucking paraphrase their own mafia chat for the sake of the game out in the main thread? :P

Basically to paraphrase our chat:
"Hey I'm loved".
Me: (fluff)
Me: Grey, stop ruining my fake townslip. (Not a lie: I initially thought Grey was a player in the game. Lie: my continued lack of knowledge about it. So when I first posted it, legit was genuine. Then I learned the truth, and continued it as a faked townslip.)
Me: Grey, no, seriously, STOP RUINING MY FAKE TOWNSLIP.
"You didn't share your role, this game is bastard, therefore you're in league with another scumteam".
Me (this was on April 26th by the way): Actually, I'm on
every
scumteam. I have access to all PTs. Each scumteam is a team of two, and I'm a member on all of them! (LITTLE DID I KNOW.)
Me: Specifically there are 8 scumteams if you're curious. (I legit thought I was overestimating. Apparently not!)
"Okay."

Kuroi (after I had privately PMed him I wanted to kill someone, I believe PeregrineV but it mighta been Majiffy): "Hey just so you know if you don't get a message saying you got the nightkill, you aint got it."

Me: Fuck, we're likely legit looking at 3/4 teams of two. All with similar powers, too. massive might even be cultafia, recruiting certain town. That'd explain the lyncher target. (How I caught this I don't remember I wasn't following the thread but I saw that detail somehow.)

"Four teams it is. Why was Bins lynched over Mathblade?"
Me: She wasn't, she was dayvigged and that was totally a scum power.

"What if...what if EVERYONE is a scumteam?" (He said this on May 6th by the way.)

Me: Possible, but also possible is like 12 town in a game dominated by scum, so we need to play in a way where we can accommodate BOTH: Playing well enough to not be eliminated by the town, and yet, playing well enough where if there's no town we don't get eliminated.

(McMenno quoted NotChara laughing at the mod saying there's town with shifty eyes.)

"That was unnecessary".
Me: I can't complain! (I'd have to look up the context but this was on the 17th so I think that was the Gamma lynch.)

"Thanks Tywin".

Me: The first time I go into what I did, and did not, lie about.
LIES:
Not reading flips. (I did, knowing both about the dayvig and modkills and massive as a lyncher.)
NOT LIES:
Everything else. I genuinely missed Fart=momo for instance. No real-life lies. Not up-to-date on the gamestate, etc.

(The reason? I need to know the flips as scum. It's a necessity of the alignment. Bare minimum fundamental requirement of the alignment.)

Me: HOLY SHIT I WAS TROLLING ABOUT THE "ON EVERY SCUMTEAM" ROLE. (Response to Pepto's flip.)

"And I'm just boring scum. :/ Smart scum kill massive."

Me: Or dumb, shoot me.

Me: Official explanation of my bussing policy: I don't 'never bus'; I bus
smart
. I had McMenno strategically at the top of my scumlist the entire game for good reason--the further I could push his lynch back, the more control I would have on whether I could save his life.

Me: (Lamenting how if I won the game people would think I didn't deserve it because of the time I wasn't an active player in the game--even though I was fucking busy with college and legit wasn't playing that much.)

Me: Sending a shoutout to JaeReed for when they would inevitably read the PT because I knew they would. (This on May 27th btw.)

Me: (That same day) Oh by the way my townreads on gerry/Leonshade are absolute bogus; they're both scum. My MariaR townread's also weaker than I've implied, too. I realize that's a lot of scum between my stated scumreads--which're all real--and my full scumreads, but I legit think they're all scum. I'm not so sure on PeregrineV or Majiffy though and Almost50 I waver on.

Firescreamer's slot is my strongest townread though, and KMD was my strongest townread while KMD was alive. I realize that means I'm scumreading most of the game while pretending not to, but them's the breaks with my scumgame and this type of game.

Me: If we do get the shot though, PeregrineV would be my first target, Majiffy my second. It's a "regardless of their alignment, better for them to be dead" sort of deal.

"Strategic lurking is how I won Laundry Mafia and nobody gave me shit for it, don't feel bad".

Me: (Gushing over Priscila.)
(Like. Uh. DANG GURL YOU GOOD. Is what I summed it up as. Oh and there's more but that's actually personal and something Priscilla herself should reveal or not.)

"I'd rather get Almost50/Priscila, but those kills are fine. Also, not lying. (In reference to . After this game, taking a break."

Me: (quoting ) There's
always
a reason for everything I do as scum. Always. Well for town too, always a reason for every action I take but doubly so for my scumgame. I have an endgame plan. (This post was really long so I can't really paraphrase it too well.) I will do the things I do because I hold a specific agenda. You lack the insider knowledge I possess on my actions.

"Thanks for the carry, mastina. Wouldn't be able to do this without you."

Me (quoting his earlier Almost50/Priscila post): "Oh yeah. Almost50! He'd also be a good kill. Priscilla though...Priscilla would currently not be a good kill. Priscilla we want other scum to kill. Priscilla we want to, if she lives, manipulate. Priscilla I'm pretty sure is town, and thus, we can endgame her. We've got incentive to hit scum right now. Almost50 would be a fine kill. I don't care if he's town or scum. Town, his death furthers our agenda. Scum, furthers it even better. Priscilla I'm just pretty sure would be a mistake to kill because DANG GURL, YOU GOOD. (Yes Priscila I was flirting with you
even in my mafia PT
. :P)

Me (apologizing for ).
Me: In hindsight I'm in sleepymode now so time to go nighty-night.

"I hope to wake up to a hammer."

"Man, lurking here works depressingly well."

Me: Indeed it does, but I hope to subvert that with my own thing.

Me: Huh. Tywin wasn't pure scum. Legit didn't see that coming.

"Still no kill."

Me: Yyyyyyyyyyyep. Means we've still got more mafia out there.

"Thirteen known scum. Town started very small this game."

Me: I'm not sweettalking Priscila. I legit believe what I'm saying. (June sixth.)

Me: gerry's scum, Leon's probably scum, but I'm pretending to be pocketed for my scum agenda because it's convenient. Legit would be heartbroken if Priscila was scum though. Maria might be scum, but only because she's so town. Though I have to say. Secretly. A huge part of me wants the girl-power team of us three to be the final three, which'd require both her and Priscila to be town. (God I wish I could direct quote this one because if you had my exact words you'd have all the evidence in the world I'd never kill Priscila.)

"Still no kill." (Also mentioned stg but I have no idea what that stands for so can't really paraphrase it.

Me: Siiiiiiiigh.

Me: So, McMenno...bussing, is it a thing we're doing soon?

Me: I kinda confess I have an agenda--legit afraid of LUV's vengekill. I need day to end as quickly as possible and give as little time for thought as possible so as to make sure no harm comes.

Me: This is the type of game where I kinda sorta forget that I'm technically not actually town on occasion. I do feel very very terrible about the betrayal, but I really really am like 99.99% sincere I just have this slight inconvenience which keeps me from winning with others. (Keep in mind I still thought we had a town at the time so I didn't know said inconvenience was universal.)

And this comes to the vital part, on June 17th, McMenno said:
"What the fuck, I killed Leonshade."

...And not long after,
"And that's the hammer."
Then, he responded to my bussing. We started planning it out.

God I want to show you an exact quote which would also prove my innocence but I can't. I'll get it as close as I can though.
"If we don't get the kill fuck.
But if we had it, I would in fact kill Leonshade. Ginngie? Lynchable. Dodge? Lynchable. We want to kill unlynchable scum. Leonshade/gerry are my preferences but gerry's superior to leave alive because he thinks he has me pocketed."

That's as close as I can get it but essentially the idea of killing Priscila or MariaR never once crossed my mind.

Me: The saddest thing, we've got 8 alive and an absolute minimum of 5 are scum, with a maximum of 7. (Well so I thought.) (I can continue laying out the math here but I did some of this in-thread just removing myself/McMenno so if you add two to my in-thread calculations you get it in the PT version. It's a long post and I don't want to paraphrase that much text but this gives you an idea of what it was about.)

"(Responding to my idea of the town itself being a scumteam) This is what I thought."

Me: For the record--of them, if there is indeed only one town, hands-down it's Priscila. Ginngie's scum; Dodge could be scum; gerry's scum; Leonshade's scum; MariaR's so town she's probably scum; we're both scum. So by POE. Priscila's our token townmate. <3

Me: (quoting ) By the way, there is absolutely NO greater sign of me actually being scum than that.

"So, Pepto's partner, that's the plan".

Me: Yep. (Refining said plan.)

"Too late, oh well, have fun."

Me: (Quoting ) I'M SORRY I REALLY HOPE YOU ARE SCUM BECAUSE I REALLY DON'T WANT TO BETRAY YOU. I SHOULD BE TOWN AND I HAS SADS I AM NOT. <3

Me (quoting Kuroi's announcement): Well on the one hand.
Now I get to not feel so bad.

On the other hand...

NO!
MARIA!

PRISCILA.
PRISCILA!
NO!

SADS.

Me:
Night-vote: six-way tie
.

Me: (A draft of my opening post for today. Which you might note included everyone because no I had no nightkill and thus no way of knowing who our victim would be.)

And that's it. Four pages total if you're curious, albeit only just.

I kind-of want to indulge in some evil gloating right now, but I do have some adherence to the Evil Overlord list, so.
I'll keep my gloating to my PT, which is my enclosed space where I can do so safely and indulge in some evil laughter. :P

Shooting is
not
too good for my enemies.
I will not gloat over my enemies' predicament before killing them.
When I've captured my adversary and he says, "Look, before you kill me, will you at least tell me what this is all about?" I'll say, "No." and shoot him. No, on second thought I'll shoot him then say "No."
I will be secure in my superiority. Therefore, I will feel no need to prove it by leaving clues in the form of riddles or leaving my weaker enemies alive to show they pose no threat.
The hero is not entitled to a last kiss, a last cigarette, or any other form of last request.
I will never utter the sentence "But before I kill you, there's just one thing I want to know."
Despite its proven stress-relieving effect, I will not indulge in maniacal laughter. When so occupied, it's too easy to miss unexpected developments that a more attentive individual could adjust to accordingly.
(^Okay so maybe I'm disregarding this one. Nobody's perfect. :P)
I will maintain a realistic assessment of my strengths and weaknesses. Even though this takes some of the fun out of the job, at least I will never utter the line "No, this cannot be! I AM INVINCIBLE!!!" (After that, death is usually instantaneous.)
If I absolutely must ride into battle, I will certainly not ride at the forefront of my Legions of Terror, nor will I seek out my opposite number among his army.
I will be neither chivalrous nor sporting. If I have an unstoppable superweapon, I will use it as early and as often as possible instead of keeping it in reserve.
If the beautiful princess that I capture says "I'll never marry you! Never, do you hear me, NEVER!!!", I will say "Oh well" and kill her.
I will not strike a bargain with a demonic being then attempt to double-cross it simply because I feel like being contrary.
If it becomes necessary to escape, I will never stop to pose dramatically and toss off a one-liner.
I will see a competent psychiatrist and get cured of all extremely unusual phobias and bizarre compulsive habits which could prove to be a disadvantage.
If I must have computer systems with publically available terminals, the maps they display of my complex will have a room clearly marked as the Main Control Room. That room will be the Execution Chamber. The actual main control room will be marked as Sewage Overflow Containment.
I will spare someone who saved my life sometime in the past. This is only reasonable as it encourages others to do so. However, the offer is good one time only. If they want me to spare them again, they'd better save my life again.
If all the heroes are standing together around a strange device and begin to taunt me, I will pull out a conventional weapon instead of using my unstoppable superweapon on them.
I will not agree to let the heroes go free if they win a rigged contest, even though my advisors assure me it is impossible for them to win.
If I have a fit of temporary insanity and decide to give the hero the chance to reject a job as my trusted lieutentant, I will retain enough sanity to wait until my current trusted lieutenant is out of earshot before making the offer.
I will not tell my Legions of Terror "And he must be taken alive!" The command will be "And try to take him alive if it is reasonably practical."
After I captures the hero's superweapon, I will not immediately disband my legions and relax my guard because I believe whoever holds the weapon is unstoppable. After all, the hero held the weapon and I took it from him.
If I ever talk to the hero on the phone, I will not taunt him. Instead I will say this his dogged perseverance has given me new insight on the futility of my evil ways and that if he leaves me alone for a few months of quiet contemplation I will likely return to the path of righteousness. (Heroes are incredibly gullible in this regard.)
(^I'd like to note this is one I COULD have done but didn't do.)

All of these are relevant. <3

If you still can't figure it out, here's some additional hints.
I will not order my trusted lieutenant to kill the infant who is destined to overthrow me -- I'll do it myself.
I will not waste time making my enemy's death look like an accident -- I'm not accountable to anyone and my other enemies wouldn't believe it.
I will make it clear that I
do
know the meaning of the word "mercy"; I simply choose not show them any.
I will design all doomsday machines myself. If I must hire a mad scientist to assist me, I will make sure that he is sufficiently twisted to never regret his evil ways and seek to undo the damage he's caused.
If my supreme command center comes under attack, I will immediately flee to safety in my prepared escape pod and direct the defenses from there. I will not wait until the troops break into my inner sanctum to attempt this.
Even though I don't really care because I plan on living forever, I will hire engineers who are able to build me a fortress sturdy enough that, if I am slain, it won't tumble to the ground for no good structural reason.
I will see to it that plucky young lads/lasses in strange clothes and with the accent of an outlander shall REGULARLY climb some monument in the main square of my capital and denounce me, claim to know the secret of my power, rally the masses to rebellion, etc. That way, the citizens will be jaded in case the real thing ever comes along.
I will not employ devious schemes that involve the hero's party getting into my inner sanctum before the trap is sprung.
I will not rely entirely upon "totally reliable" spells that can be neutralized by relatively inconspicuous talismans.
I will never accept a challenge from the hero.
I will not engage an enemy single-handedly until all my soldiers are dead.
No matter how much I want revenge, I will never order an underling "Leave him. He's mine!"
(^Averting this one.)
I will not attempt to kill the hero by placing a venomous creature in his room. It will just wind up accidentally killing one of my clumsy henchmen instead.
Since nothing is more irritating than a hero defeating you with basic math skills, all of my personal weapons will be modified to fire one more shot than the standard issue.
Rather than having only one secret escape pod, which the hero can easily spot and follow, I'll simultaneously launch a few dozen decoys to throw him off track.
(I mean what do you think I'm doing right now with these quotes? I can explain the presence of every single one of them and yet only I know the real details.)
Despite the delicious irony, I will not force two heroes to fight each other in the arena.
If I find my beautiful consort with access to my fortress has been associating with the hero, I'll have her executed. It's regrettable, but new consorts are easier to get than new fortresses and maybe the next one will pay attention at the orientation meeting.
If I'm sitting in my camp, hear a twig snap, start to investigate, then encounter a small woodland creature, I will send out some scouts anyway just to be on the safe side. (If they disappear into the foliage, I will not send out another patrol; I will break out the napalm.)
As an alternative to not having children, I will have lots of children. My sons will be too busy jockeying for position to ever be a real threat, and the daughters will all sabotage each other's attempts to win the hero.
If I have children and subsequently grandchildren, I will keep my three-year-old granddaughter near me at all times. When the hero enters to kill me, I will ask him to first explain to her why it is necessary to kill her beloved grandpa. When the hero launches into an explanation of morality way over her head, that will be her cue to pull the lever and send him into the pit of crocodiles. After all, small children like crocodiles almost as much as Evil Overlords and it's important to spend quality time with the grandkids.
If one of my daughters actually manages to win the hero and openly defies me, I will congratulate her on her choice, declare a national holiday to celebrate the wedding, and proclaim the hero my heir. This will probably be enough to break up the relationship. If not, at least I am assured that no hero will attack my Legions of Terror when they are holding a parade in his honor.
I will order my guards to stand in a line when they shoot at the hero so he cannot duck and have them accidentally shoot each other. Also, I will order some to aim above, below, and to the sides so he cannot jump out of the way.
Before ridiculing my enemies for wasting time on a device to stop me that couldn't possibly work, I will first acquire a copy of the schematics and make sure that in fact it couldn't possibly work.
I will instruct my fashion designer that when it comes to accessorizing, second-chance body armor goes well with every outfit.
My Legions of Terror will be an equal-opportunity employer. Conversely, when it is prophesied that no man can defeat me, I will keep in mind the increasing number of non-traditional gender roles.
I will instruct my Legions of Terror in proper search techniques. In particular, if they are searching for escapees and someone shouts, "Quick! They went that way!", they must first ascertain the identity of this helpful informant before dashing off in hot pursuit.
If I know of any heroes in the land, I will not under any circumstance kill their mentors, teachers, and/or best friends.
If I have the hero and his party trapped, I will not wait until my Superweapon charges to finish them off if more conventional means are available.
If I burst into rebel headquarters and find it deserted except for an odd, blinking device, I will not walk up and investigate; I'll run like hell.
I will occasionally vary my daily routine and not live my life in a rut. For example, I will not always take a swig of wine or ring a giant gong before finishing off my enemy.
If I steal something very important to the hero, I will not put it on public display.
I will plan in advance what to do with each of my enemies if they are captured. That way, I will never have to order someone to be tied up while I decide his fate.
I will be an equal-opportunity despot and make sure that terror and oppression is distributed fairly, not just against one particular group that will form the core of a rebellion.
(^At least at this stage.)
Although it would provide amusement, I will not confess to the hero's rival that I was the one who committed the heinous act for which he blames the hero.
(^I mean I'd do this one if it applied but really it hasn't, so.)
If I am dangling over a precipice and the hero reaches his hand down to me, I will not attempt to pull him down with me. I will allow him to rescue me, thank him properly, then return to the safety of my fortress and order his execution.
If I have the hero cornered and am about to finish him off and he says "Look out behind you!!" I will not laugh and say "You don't expect me to fall for that old trick, do you?" Instead I will take a step to the side and half turn. That way I can still keep my weapon trained on the hero, I can scan the area behind me, and if anything was heading for me it will now be heading for him.
I will not outsource core functions.
I will hire a drama coach. The hero will think it must be a case of mistaken identity when confronted by my Minnesota accent (if everyone sounds American) or my Cornwall accent (if everyone sounds British).
I will not devise any scheme in which Part A consists of tricking the hero into unwittingly helping me and Part B consists of laughing at him then leaving him to his own devices.
I will never tell the hero "Yes I was the one who did it, but you'll never be able to prove it to that incompetent old fool." Chances are, that incompetant old fool is standing behind the curtain.
(^Another one not applicable but which I'd use all the same.)
If my mad scientist/wizard tells me he has almost perfected my Superweapon but it still needs more testing, I will wait for him to complete the tests. No one ever conquered the world using a beta version.
If I am using the hero's girlfriend as a hostage and am holding her at the point of imminent death when confronting the hero, I will focus on her and not him. He won't try anything with his true love held hostage. On the other hand, the fact that she has been weak, slow-witted, naive and generally useless up to this point has no bearing on her actions at the moment of dramatic climax.
I will make several ludicrously erroneous maps to secret passages in my fortress and hire travellers to entrust them to aged hermits.
(^More or less what all these quotes serve as.)
I will not use hostages as bait in a trap. Unless you're going to use them for negotiation or as human shields, there's no point in taking them.
I will hire an expert marksman to stand by the entrance to my fortress. His job will be to shoot anyone who rides up to challenge me.
I will remember that any vulnerabilities I have are to be revealed strictly on a need-to-know basis. I will also remember that no one needs to know.
(^The reason I'm not gloating right now.)
I will not make alliances with those more powerful than myself. Such a person would only double-cross me in my moment of glory. I will make alliances with those less powerful than myself. I will then double-cross them in their moment of glory.
I will not, under any circumstances, marry a woman I know to be a faithless, conniving, back-stabbing witch simply because I am absolutely desperate to perpetuate my family line. Of course, we can still date.
<3 Priscila.
If a malignant being demands a sacrificial victim have a particular quality, I will check to make sure said victim has this quality immediately before the sacrifice and not rely on earlier results. (Especially if the quality is virginity and the victim is the hero's girlfriend.)
If my Legions of Terror are defeated in a battle, I will quietly withdraw and regroup instead of launching a haphazard mission to assassinate the hero.
If I'm wearing the key to the hero's shackles around my neck and his former girlfriend now volunteers to become my mistress and we are all alone in my bedchamber on my bed and she offers me a goblet of wine, I will politely decline the offer.
Whatever my one vulnerability is, I will fake a different one. For example, ordering all mirrors removed from the palace, screaming and flinching whenever someone accidentally holds up a mirror, etc. In the climax when the hero whips out a mirror and thrusts it at my face, my reaction will be "Hmm...I think I need a shave."
I reserve the right to execute any henchmen who appear to be a little too intelligent, powerful, or devious. However if I do so, I will not at some subsequent point shout "Why am I surrounded by these incompetent fools?!"
(^Sorry McMenno. :P)

Oh and just to top it off.
I will never bait a trap with genuine bait.
If the hero claims he wishes to confess in public or to me personally, I will remind him that a notarized deposition will serve just as well.
If I have several diabolical schemes to destroy the hero, I will set all of them in motion at once rather than wait for them to fail and launch them successively.
I will not procrastinate regarding any ritual granting immortality.
You have the hints you need to know now. Let's see if you can figure it out.

(I mean people seem to forget that when I draw scum I see myself as the supervillain. And being the supervillain is
fun
. Really, really fun. I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of the role and am a ridiculously large ham because when I can just be out there and enjoy myself, then I really let go. Law, Chaos, doesn't matter to me. I just want to watch people die at my hand, and laugh as they think I do so with any deigns of being benign. <3)

Of course the dead (in particular, one or two players) might be able to figure out what I'm going on about right now. To which I can say: yes. I was referring to here with that. :P

I'm not guaranteed to win it all at this point, but I'm guaranteed second place and I'm guaranteed a 50/50 shot. But an endgame at least similar to this is something I've had in mind from essentially the moment I started playing the game. (Well, really playing the game anyway. I didn't have any plans while I was prod-dodging because no that wasn't fucking strategic lurking that was me genuinely not being in the game and so obviously I didn't have much of a plan until later.)

(God I want to gloat so much right now but I have to be patient and play the long-game. I'd look awfully foolish if I went through all the trouble of telling you how I'm winning only to then not win especially if I lost because of this.)

(I want this game to be officially over though so I can reference it elsewhere. I've poured my heart and soul into this scumgame and it might even surpass House Bolton for being my best game of all time--it's certainly supplanted all other games in terms of being most fun of all time, too.)

(Incidentally this is the reason why Tywin's accusation was so despicable against me. No it wasn't fucking advantageous to me to lurk. It was to my advantage to be seen as town, because seen as town = no risk of lynch OR vengekill = 2/3 sources of possible elimination no longer can influence me. Meaning that it was advantageous of me to be active, and therefore...my lack of having done so was real-life-related.)

Yeah that will work...

Because 25-33% of the time is about how often I draw scum.

That other 66-75% of the time it won't work because it's not a fucking scumtell. It's a life-tell. It tells you how well I'm doing in real-life, not what alignment I rolled. I don't lurk as scum. I literally had the highest post count this game and that was from me very much NOT lurking--and the reason for this? Because that's what I fucking do under normal circumstances. The reason I wasn't was...

I misread this as "while I felt this was mafia", which is a statement I would definitely agree on--when I felt the game was a mafia game (even with a smaller-than-normal town), I was having a blast.

I still had a blast post-break, but I was sad that the game's nature changed.

This, all of it. Balance of teams was basically nonexistent and the game DID need more town.

In post 120, Priscila wrote:We need to eliminate the remaining scum as fast as possible. I can easily be more townread than every town in the game, and I can defend you easily as well.
So we need total control of the night kill. Then, all we need to do is to reach mylo.
This was my plan to a T. If we reached mylo, then McMenno couldn't be lynched...and I couldn't be lynched, either. I could have the lynch go through, using up the kill immunity, but then we'd have at least a 40% (if an all-scum) if not 50% (if 4 scum) or even 66% (three scum) chance of receiving the nightkill. Heck. If we were the last two scum alive, then we'd get the nightkill 100%. And with us nightkilling that night, then we'd go into day with four alive and half of them being us--autowin.

I really think our synergy was completely real, apart from a few small things. I never really was in the game thinking about manipulating her, it was just so pleasant to work with her and interact with her, although we didn't end up getting to share reads much because the game just already got solved.
My sentiments exactly for you. <3

You were in danger.
Leonshade was going to be my kill if I won the lottery at that point.

Though you on your own would have been enough to challenge me for the win. <3

In post 285, Leonshade wrote:We should discuss this once you get back. One more thing to note is that mastina has a reputation for a strong, meticulously thought out scumgame. If she's scum, it's possible that this entire bloc is just a narrative to keep her alive for as long as possible, while keeping her other scumreads calm and coasting, until she can get rid of them.
This was more or less true!
I genuinely townread Priscilla and mostly-genuinely-townread MariaR but you and gerry were bogus reads!
However, even if scum, I don't think she currently has a reason to think what we think, that there might be only one townie remaining.
This however I held as true from MY end to all other scum; I thought McMenno and I were the only ones who knew. :P

Thus why the correct play would be to no-lynch, where town would be eligible for the nightkill. (Refer to the rules on the front page.)

But I do see/know/understand your point there. :P

(Fun fact btw: after the game was revealed as all-scum, if people had called into question what, exactly, my ability was, I was going to fakeclaim that in spite of me being scum I had a vengekill, because it fit all the details I divulged about my death-immunity power while making it look like I was no longer a threat. I told people that my power in 5p would if I was lynched help decide the game's results by helping my side win, that I might be the reason the game was continuing, and that my power was death-related and lynch-related. Further bonus points: being a legit vengeful would make me feel like I was town, just like my death immunity gave me the confidence to be legitimately town. These were all true of both a vengekill and my actual role. Fortunately, nobody actually asked me what my power was, though, because I imagine this fakeclaim wouldn't have worked as well as I thought.)
