I've played mafia super drunk to the point of fakeclaiming terrible guilties drunk and I was far more lucid than Cabd was. I think that his drunkenness was played up regardless of situation. I don't think that necessarily makes him scum: it's the kind of thing that can be fun. But at the time I disliked some stuff in your openers and felt like doing something with it.
Even if I were scum that's not a mark that I would seek to hit and I don't understand why you would think that's a decision I would consciously make as either alignment here. Not for absolutely no reason at the start of the game, maybe if one of you was townreading me and the other wasn't and I really needed their votes.
But even then I try to avoid setting hydra heads against each other as scum because it makes games unpleasant.
I also felt like you tried to characterize my side of our dance last night as scumpainting you, when I was actually just trying to figure out where your mindset was.
This is what it felt like at the time to me.
I liked that you tried to engage me about reads later, but our initial interactions did not feel good. And it feels like today the Rask head is attempting to rewind the work I did and I thought you did as well, to learn how our views on the game meshed or clashed, and to put us back on a more confrontational standing.
I agree that in practice the likely result of Raskol's posting is negative if you're town. I don't think that he intended to pick a fight.
From where I'm standing I've felt like you were town since before I went to bed and definitely after. I didn't really feel like what you guys had done was scummy but we didn't talk about it until much later in the day and he initially assumed that I was still scumreading you, then he wanted the opportunity to sort you on his own, and now he's given up
You're reading a lot of subtext into the hydra dynamic that isn't there.
I can do confrontational if that's what you two are after. I don't think it's all that healthy for most gamestates, though.
