I think I haven't placed much effort into actually reading somebody. Just saw some posts and then declared my read. This is my worst town game, I think. I got a scumread on Thor that I'm forever procrastinating about.

So since I'm in the lynch pool, I'm gonna do a re-read of the players and tell you what I think. That's what's on top of my to-do list.

so the games are incredibly townsided and mafia still wins a lot. I have no idea why.

also yeah I'm very suspicious of most of these setups. IDK why games need to be so mech heavy anyway. I'd play a vanilla 13er with seer and feel great about it.

My preferred is mountainous myself.
But the play quality here suffered a lot in the last few years, and now we're where we're at.

Where do you play that doesn't have this meta?
I'm always down for a new site.

Thor's got a scum tone that gives me a gutread I can't shake off.

It's called you not being able to read someone who either aggressive hard bussed their partner for two days straight - or spotting town who has been really pretty accurate with their reads.

@virtuoso: is the mafia night kill assigned to a player, or unassigned? Can the same player perform night actions on more than one player? (e.g. visiting someone to give fruit and killing someone else)

In all normal games (at least to my knowledge) the mafia must specify who is performing the kill. If no one is specified then the person who posted the kill will be the one who is performing it.

I cannot answer the second question.

You'll get used to it eventually. I have to confess, I was hoping to replace into a slot promptly nightkilled, since this is a bit earlier than I would normally prefer to replace in. However, I'll grow on you now that I'm forced to provide content.

@thor: I play on Mafia Universe and 2+2's puzzles and other games. 2+2 games are very fast, usually 12h day 12h night. we used to have by far the most competent player field online, and the championships started on POG and with POG players MVPing those games. Now it's... not as good. the forums are pretty dead, but I still play there cause it's a lot more fun to me than elsewhere.

I don't think that's true at all, and even if it is then it's not you leading it either.
I repeatedly cased Skitter because everyone in this game is a goldfish, including you.

My theory isI wouldn't agree with most of his decisions of how to play the game - or do you think he's lying about theory?

Even if Mulch is mafia, and I'm willing to give you even odds on a scum being amongst the claims,that still means one scum not in the PR claims.
Since scum will keep whittling down the claims for us, it is town's job to whittle down the not claims.
Who do you think is Mulch/Skitter's buddy?

I've played invitationals both places.
I don't have the available schedule for fast games.
I liked both, but didn't find them much different in play quality I'll admit.

I think mulch's 'theory' talk is bullshit. where did he get his theories from? he was going on about lynching people 2 days into d1, getting town to hardclaim PR or get lynched super early, and then don't look at who is voting Havo, write it off as just a theory disagreement because 'scum bus d1'? I'm not buying any of that.

also, look at his interactions with skitter and how he decided to vote her, while conditionally clearing her a page before because I'm not scum with her. is that townie? 'this game is going fast, this is incredible', is this something town says? how about being the first one to notice maria was MAJed, was that townie? 'how did no one notice this before' 30 minutes after MAJ, is this townie? how about d3 where he is perspective slipping all over the place... I mean what the hell is townie about mulch man? if you can, I'm goldfish, I don't remember anything. I need some light if I'm ever not voting mulch this gameday.

also, fruit vendor does nothing for town, it's not a cop or a tracker. if you're going over even odds at one of the claims being scum, mulch is necessarily the best lynch. I'm not saying that, you're saying that.

Mulch was towny for how he approached Why Mafia, and his willingness to attack any and everyone.
I'll agree Skitter was scummy and that it took a long time for people to get there for some reason.

I'm more frustrated by no one being willing to explain how Serg is own despite multiple people now claiming it.

I gotta say I like the names wagoning skitter here and think this reflects rather poorly on the vanity-wagoners. In fact though it's possible havingfitz is scum I'd wager Mulch/Sergtacos/Chip Butty is our scum pool with 2/3 in there being scum.

Perhaps this most clearly illustrates what I am getting at. Chip Butty and Sergtacos could be partnered together, though this is less likely. Most likely is one of them as scum with Mulch, but I do not put much faith in blind VCA. I'll be investigating the validity of this hypothesis when I read.

First instinct: Fykus wagon doesn't contain scum, but if it does it is singular, not plural. The skitter wagon is the only scum wagon and it was steadily fading; scum had no incentive to create a voting bloc on a mislynch.

I think roleblockers (which is logical to exist because of the existence of investigative roles) are most likely to be bussing other scum and the way Thor is pushing that there's scum within the PRs (all of which I highly townread, and highly townreadable, or highly logical to be town) is suspect. That's why I'm looking at Thor to be a roleblocker. If Thor, WhyMafia, and Mulch is the final LYLO, we win. Actually, Mulch, Thor, and someone obvtown. Just that Mulch and Thor needs to be in LYLO. Because Thor is right, even if he is scum bussing partners, we should be sheeping him anyway.
