- Smudger's death: how much did it have to do with his reads in 489? Who does it benefit?
- Kim's post 493: his most intriguing idea, pointing to Smudger as possible scum, is now proven wrong. But... why is Noodles his top scumread now?

- Smudger's strongest scumread after Kim was Bluebird, and he'd just dismissed his case against Noodles. Presumably scum-Bluebird would NK him, scum-Noodles wouldn't.
- On the other hand, who

would

scum-Noodles NK? Not Bluebird, since then he'd be Smudger's and my next option for scum. Maybe he hoped he'd be under less scrutiny from me than from the SE.
- Wouldn't scum-Bluebird NK me instead? I was the one pushing her wagon yesterday. Or would that be too obvious, and Smudger's also a good and more WIFOM kill?

- Strongest scumread is still Bluebird.
- But the alternative must be considered. Must reread what Kim posted about Noodles.

For obvious reasons I'm not voting yet, but it's hard to interpret your gameplay as town.

Plenty of posts (relatively speaking) during RVS - 5 out of your current 22 (6, 14, 18, 29, 47).
When people began to suspect you, you've kept a low profile, doing little to no scumhunting and not voting after Day 1.
Day 2, nothing much happening. A few defensive posts, that's it.
Day 3, you're fine with either wagon at first 427 (mine or Kim's), yet you make no effort to push either of us. In 460, you're suspicious of me, giving no better reason than Belisarius not mentioning me in his claim. I post a defense, hoping to get some sort of reaction, your answer is completely noncommittal, offering no strong opinions about anyone - 477. Then in 492, no reasons given again, Kim's the most reasonable vote. Not that you're willing to actually vote him.

In short, low activity, which in itself isn't that bad. People are busy sometimes. But that combined with no scumhunting, being reactive most of the game, and very nonconfrontational behavior...

From my perspective, this is either very bad town or pretty good scum. From your posts, you're probably a smart person. A hypothetical Stupid!Bluebird might be unaware lurking her way to LyLo is anti-town, because it completely messes things for the other town, but the real Bluebird is most likely aware of it. Why would she do such a thing nonetheless?

Only one explanation fits, doesn't it?

AzoriusSenate was a PR and thus any scum's obvious choice. But why did scum kill hiplop and Smudger? Well, maybe it has something to do with their read lists:

Sorry for not posting anything the last couple days guys, I saw that the day had started at like 3 am and was like yay! And then was going to post in the morning but totally forgot. So here we are. In terms of the latest NK, I don't really know why WH would've killed smudger. It probably would've been a better move to kill me because both of them already had a scum read on Blue. Then again it could be him trying to throw us off that track, and that strategy might not have worked quite as well as I put it because why would Blue kill me. Blue killing smudger makes a little more sense, but idk if that's definitive. Honestly I could be playing this wrong but WH's point yesterday about me possibly letting Bluebird get away with the oldest trick is true. WH has just been more towny more consistently all game. Right now from where I stand Bluebird is scummier. I'm really really unsure about it, but I think Bluebird is the last maf. There's one thing I wanna see from either of you before I actually vote though.

To elaborate on my earlier post: Which Hunter was univerally townread pretty much throughout the game. My would-be point about his hammering all town is now null because he actually hammered one town and one scum, which is intersting- would Scum!WH hammer his scumbuddy? Points for town. Though I'm still looking at you, sort of.

Also- I went back and reread our ISOs. There's some interesting stuff going on here that caught my eye.

Now I'm even more confused. I absolutely saw the potential in Bel to be scum and Azorius to just be angry town, though I wasn't convinced it was true, but what is this^^^? I can't decide whether to just be astonished or amazed at the audacity/arrogance in that first statement or a little peeved or laughing or what. That's a lot of certainty that we're gonna vote for someone with no backing so far. And more than that what's your case on Witch of all people? Smudger many people have tried (and mostly failed) to make cases against, but no one in the game has thrown an actual accusation at Witch. If you have one I'd love to hear it but I'm honestly completely baffled that it's even in your mind.

I haven't posted much today because I haven't had much to post. I've just been waiting for someone to say something to cement my opinion, which I'll elaborate on at the end. In terms of this:

I was actually the first to call him scum and throughout that conversation with Azorius I said repeatedly how much I believed he *could* be scum. Azorius just had no proof and was acting really weird about it, which I only later realized was him getting annoyed because he had no real way to kill Bel without claiming. But yeah if you're going to say I was defending a scum buddy, pretty much in every post I repeated that I thought he could be scum and I really never argued against him being scum, just argued that Azorius needed to show way more evidence. If you want more info on an argument against me, look back a day at smudgers. He brought up pretty much everything you could, was proved wrong and moved on:

Moral of the story is I don't see it. 1) you're argument has no grounds besides you being suspicious about liking people and 2) if I was scum I could've had the easiest game and I didn't take it. If you have any other questions throw them my way.

People thought Kim and you were scum because you were both inactive and fairly passive when you were active. People said I was town because I didn't do anything they could point to as scummy and did multiple things that they pointed to as town. Am I good town? Maybe not, but the reason I stressed the newbie thing so hard is because I really am a newbie Once again just look back a day, this time at the analysis of Bels final post, and again at the short argument against me. In particular here:

I don't expect people to think that his final accusation here clears me -- I'd expect there to be (at least, but probably just) one true statement in there. (I happen to think that it's "Curly's play today is town.")

And here:

Probably town. Not very active, hasn't contributed much of the time, yet his posts overall look towny. Confused town who wants to contribute and doesn't quite know how to go about it, but town.

That, on top of Smudger, is most of the town believing I'm town. So the scum says I'm town because I'm town. Gives them a air of credibility.

: Today is the proper day to be paranoid. My instinct is to believe he's town and you're not based on everything we've been through so far - then I think that maybe, just maybe, that's just as he planned. Not much evidence to believe that, though - even Smudger didn't find much to go on, and it's something he considered seriously, judging by yesterday.

No reason not to be open about the massclaim - MrCurlyNoodles has already said the most important thing, and any of us could arrive at that conclusion - one of us is a VT, one is a PR and one is scum. Scum's going to claim one of the former two roles, which means one of us won't be counterclaimed, and is therefore conftown.

Let's begin the last act in our game then. I'm the 1-shot Bulletproof. Tried to stay active, be obvtown and participate in each day's most convincing wagons in hope scum'd see me as a threat and waste a NK. That didn't go as planned.
