My beef with Aeris was this: I noticed that she was publicly announcing that she hates playing scum. I thought it was a strange thing to say at the time, and so I questioned her on it. It turned into a whole few pages of useless arguing about a few pointless topics revolving around the character Aeris which wasn't my intent.

What I found even more strange was that she apparently hates being scum, but hasn't ever BEEN scum. Call me cliche, but I have three kids and trying to get them to eat things they reportedly hate goes with the mantra that they try it before they don't like it.

I understand that she could, and probably does hate the idea of being scum/loves being town to the point that she would hate it if she weren't town. But again, it's odd to me that she would point it out. Just to clarify this has NOTHING to do with her being sad she didn't roll Aeris.

Re-reading, her frustration is real, and the softing of her role sounds townish. Other than that, I don't see anything in her ISO that remotely looks town as far as content and contribution. No scum hunting, no voting, only threats. I absolutely hate that her defense is that of "ya'll are being elitist".

Aeris, you mentioned that I hadn't answered your questions. If you have a legitimate question that isn't a rehash of what already had been hashed out, feel free to ask again.

Mastin, - Posts rub me the wrong way. Probably due to her over-zealous I'm so gooood. I don't feel town-motivation in her posts, it has more of a conversational lets group up feel to them. Scum reads and town reads

largely a matter of "impression", despite affirmation that they are greater. At least I can't see reasons behind them because they aren't clearly stated.

Seiko - Says he scum-reads people for reaching, buddies Aeris and then reaches to try to find a question I didn't answer after being called out and refusing to answer.

Aeris - Already mentioned, but largely a lack of scum-hunting clouded in a smoke of other "stuff".

Scorp, I generally use this type of play to weed out scum. You may not be as 'correct' by taking this viewpoint, but it makes it harder for scum to slip by.

Its likely that Jaquen isn't really a tracker which would explain why he doesn't want to go into detail about his role, which unfortunately is what is throwing people off. Remember that 2-shot amnesiac cop traitor? Or maybe he is a tracker, but got additional information that proves his result. Regardless, Mastin not thinking that Jaquen is scum, despite arguing inconsistencies, despite arguing that Jaquen is gambiting, doesn't add up.

Lynching Saint for being Jailed the night one night kill failed over lynching a CLAIMED 100% guilty is insane. Its insane that Mastin didn't get lynched over TiP.

Although I may be a bit blind from conf-bias, I would like to think that I can still be objective.

The above items have very large assumptions going along with them.

1) We are assuming that Mastin is only killing based on strategic advantage, without regard to her team as a WHOLE. Like I said earlier, Mastin isn't the only person on her team (although she egotistically states that she may-as-well be the only person.)

Take a look at this another way. Two game-days ago, Jaqen revealed that he had a guilty result on Mastin. Mastin knows it's only a matter of time before her team can't push lynches other than hers. They have successfully quickly mislynched TIP in order to bury the guilty. Can Mastin possibly weasel her way out of another lynch despite being mod-confirmed scum-short of someone redirecting Jaqens role which I'm not smart enough to calculate the odds on but seem to me to be pretty low especially given the amount of already claimed targets that could have been redirected?

Answer: All Mastin has to do is do something that no one would think she would do as scum. This something is kill Kaboose. BAM Instant self-created defense.

Which takes me to another point: If Mastin KNOWS there is a redirector, she should be taking role information with a grain of salt. NOT using role information to 100% conf-town herself. But then again, when the shoe fits... amirite?

Mastin isn't a Turk. We have at least two Turks. Kaboose didn't get a result on Mastin because Mastin isn't a Turk. Yet Mastin consistently and repeatedly is using a flipped SCUM to clear herself as town (because scum never lie). My take on Kaboose was that he was just trying to buddy up to Mastin. If you ISO Kaboose you will see that he does this even on D1.

Look. Its as easy as Jaqen had gotten a 100% guilty on Mastin. The End. Jaqen is proven town. The ONLY defense that Mastin has is redirector/framer/whatever.

If Mastin was really town, she wouldn't have crapped up the last two days with endless arguments about why we should lynch other people except for her. A town flip two days ago from Mastin would have given us more information to work with instead of a "TRUST ME GUYS PLEASE JUST TRUST ME" buuut she isn't town so....

If the game is 4-4-15, that leaves 4 scum alive and 5 town. 3 scum on Meteor side and 1 on Shinra with 5 town.

If Mastin manages to lynch me, that would leave 4 scum to 4 town. Two night-kills potentially giving the game to Meteor, if not giving them an absolute advantage.
