At this point mourinho is prety much confirmed town imo. It's just that I want to know more about snork before letting mourinho claim. In post 47, ZZZX wrote:Page (2)
Depending on mourinho is a bad idea when mafia has fake claims. In post 25, My Milked Eek wrote:Sure, but I suggest mourinho stays anonymous until we get a better grip on you and your alignment.
I never said or implied that you asked for a mass claim, I said we're going to hold off on flavor claiming (which is what mourinho would have been doing). I'm not going to have somebody outed just because you said "trust me". Of course mourinho is prefectly capable of staying silent without me or anyone else telling him what to do, but then we have people like Aronis saying they're not mourinho which kind of defeats the point of not flavor claiming. In post 54, Snork wrote:I don't really get why you think "I need to find Jose Mourinho" means the same thing as "HEY ERRBDY LETS ALL CLAIM"... Like, I get that there's not much to go after in RVS, but making that kind of leap is wild.
Call me scum or don't call me scum, but don't do it in this half assed way where it's somewhat implied you do, but then it's worded in such a way that you can easily dismiss it when questioned upon later.snork wrote:I liked Tier and Aronis' response to my statement. I felt it came from comfortable town rather than opportunistic scum. Eek's response, on the other hand, didn't really give me good feels. It felt like he was trying to seem town by forcefully objecting to Jose Mourinho claiming. In actuality, it came off really fake.
What's the point of this? Throwing out mud and seeing what sticks? If anything, the unsollicited "I NEED TO CLAIM" is actually in his favor. If you agree, I don't understand why you'd bring this up and if you don't agree, then I reiterate my previous point: call a cat a cat and don't beat around the bushes.snork wrote:Sthar's entrance was just lame, and I didn't like that he had time to make a post AND a response, but couldn't be arsed to plop a vote or poke at anyone. Seemed kind of cautious, and like he wanted to avoid RVS, and the whole "I NEED TO CLAIM TODAY" just was like... wut?? Especially since we've beentalking about people claimingand then he acts like he hasn't read and he's too busy.
And before you say it: yes there is a difference between your "I need mourinho to claim" and sthar's "I need to claim".
As said above, anything but good posting. In post 62, TierShift wrote:

Why do you feel the need to defend him? And what wagon? If you'd take even one second to look at the game you'd see that I'm not even voting him. You'd know when I'd be trying to set up a wagon.
I didn't ask him for explanations or reasons because I asked him to clarify what his stances were on me and sthar because his posts didn't have any indication of them (go back and read them). On the contrary, they were empty statements that were just mudslinging in the case of sthar.Eek!-

Look, your post on sthar is so empty. Not to mention filled with opinions on things that don't matter or are hypocritical. You didn't answer my (implied) question on that post of yours:In post 96, Snork wrote:

You can call it mudslinging all you want, but I don't think you understand the meaning of that word, since that's what you're doing to me. You're making blanket statements about my posts and telling people to "go back and read them" without bothering toactually ask me why I think X or what my thought process is in regards to it.
You aren't scum hunting; you're just passing judgment. There's a difference between investigating by inquiry to formulate a conclusion and forming a conclusion in order to create an effect.
What do you think of him claiming to have to claim? Because that is the one thing of sthar's post you didn't give your opinion on.Eek!-

Surely you have more to say about his "IN2C" than a simple "wut". Do you think it's made from a town pov or a scum one?
I feel like you are picking on semantics, which is unnecessary and scummy. You get what the hell I'm saying, and if you don't then you need to ask, rather than playing word games and pretending like "call a cat a cat" is asking a question that any normal person would understand.
Not your alignment, no, but your reaction to a slight push might have been indicative of your alignment. And how you react depends on your experience with games like this and I thought the role madness might have made you paranoid. But that is apparantly not an issue.p-edit: I have enough experience. It doesn't matter, does it? My alignment is not dependent on my experience with mafia.Eek!-

I had a null and pushed a bit when I saw an empty push on sthar (which I misunderstood apparantly). His reactions, albeit a bit over the top, seem genuine and feel like my early play when I received my first PR's, which is why I asked about his experience. I have a decent town read now, although I don't understand why he'd find sthar's "I need to claim" post scummy. I find that post to be on the town spectrum of things said so far. But, in short: town.Eek!-

I mean, there we were; 4-6 pages of us arguing back and forth. He was rather determined that I'm scum and he unvotes the second I get to L-2? And to vote Aronis on the next page? And he's not voting Aronis for hopping on the bandwagon without thinking for himself, no, he's voting Aronis for not disclosing his reasons for a townread.

On other news, I figured out what bothered me in Eek's play.
He showed his plan, getting people to vote me so he could read me, very extensively and stressed that he did it on purpose.
What he didn't do, is execute it. He didn't put actual pressure on me, asked me questions or any of the kind, just blatantly told people to vote me.
He knows I'd expect him to do a great effort to read me correctly if he were town, as we can work together very well. So he showed me that he put in great effort, but he actually didn't.
So I think his attempts at reading me were fake.
Can we get some more Eek votes in?Eek!-

Not exactly. There's a difference to answering those questions. Also, him being scum and unvoting would imply several things about external factors and not about his actions. Him being town and unvoting tells us more about how he thinks and acts.In post 230, TierShift wrote:

I tried to indicate the differences between the questions. You said they meant the same thing (paraphrased), but they don't. They're not the same in the aspects of the answers and they're not the same when talking about the person who asked that question. I find it odd that you think he's town and after a "concerning" move from snork, you'd ask "In post 233, TierShift wrote:
