It's lovely when hydra partners can read your mind.
Consider Aegor the head that composedly follows the plan, and Tier the one that gets scum lynched. At times.
ALSO LET'S GET FAKECLAIMING MEDEA OUT OF HERE

Is there scum motivation in lying about being hated?
Also I'm just gonna put this here in bold because I know there are a few morons in here who like to not read but vote and accidentally hammer. *cough*bert/nat*cough*
Our role has a hated modifier, we take one less vote to lynch
P-edit: I was still discussing with Aegor when to claim it and we hadn't finished yet, but then L-1 came.-

tell me why this was
I had brought it up in our QT and actually wrote a draft of a post that we could use right after my first post in this thread. We got to L-2 at the top of the second page within 12 hours. I think your idea of "late as fuck" needs some reconsideration. And I am not going to claim anything about the role without consulting with my other head unless circumstances demand an immediate claim, as they did when TS claimed. In post 33, Nazarene wrote:P-edit: I was still discussing with Aegor when to claim it and we hadn't finished yet, but then L-1 came.

both heads were online during those 12 hours.
Are there any other aspects to your hated modifier we need to know? does it go away at some point?
From our QT:
Code: Select all
[Aeg]I think we should claim Hated. I have a draft post saved. [TS]We should definitely claim hated.
There was no intent to deceive. I was asleep when TS first posted in the QT/in-thread. One of our earlier posts tells you more about the modifier.-

Insofar as they are not imminently relevant, I would say yes, because I would consider the provision of any role information beyond what is absolutely necessary or directly beneficial (e.g. guilty result) anti-town. If TS feels differently, he is welcome to post the end conditions. But he probably won't since we already agreed on this in our QT.In post 55, orcinus_theoriginal wrote: would revealing them to us be anti-town?

Yeah.In post 57, orcinus_theoriginal wrote:I would agree with you. But I would in this case like to know the conditions under which you become unhated.
Two reasons
1) we can help you become unhated (I assume we can't directly but I'm having trouble imagining what your modifier might be)
2) making sure that you aren't alive and hated at lylo.
We're not hated at LyLo, don't worry.
Now where the f is every player in this game?

Quick recap of missing pages:
Orc was calling us scum for not sharing role info and not doing anything else
Kagami was useless, pleasing people and not trying to figure out the game. After our push on her there came a counterpush because both our heads were in harmony
Gif was kinda useful, asking questions to people
Garruk was well, nati. Stupid fuck :/
Perpetual nonsense was saying perpetual nonsense
Medea started to get involved but their push on orc wasn't too convincing
Alduskkel was being scummy with their orc vote.
Tip was well, kinda silent, voted for kagami for unexplained reasons.
Did I miss anything?
So yeah kagami do try to town it up

There is more, but that was lost. The counterpush was pretty awful. In post 90, Medea the Alien wrote:So Kagami's ISO seems no less useful than people like TIP yet she merits three votes, at least two of which have no reasoning. Not liking the wagon at all, and TIP-scum wouldn't surprise me.
TiP was first on the wagon, don't forget that.
I said moronic town, eh? Aegor doesn't fully agree, though.Nazarene, you hate the orc votes yet your recap of orc doesn't exactly present him as a town read. Why the discrepancy?
--PA
The orc votes are kinda lazy, alduskkel's is horrible.

Not make shitty votes and then couch them with vacuous statements of their correctness? In post 95, Kagami wrote:I'm voting very, very obvious scum. I don't see what more I could do to demonstrate that I'm town.
Why would that matter? Both heads agree that your play has been relatively scummy. You are asserting a conviction that does not exist.I have absolutely no completed games with either tier or aegor, and I have done nothing to deserve a scumread of such confidence that both heads of nazarene are in agreement of.
Thanks for mentioning an ongoing game while depriving me of the opportunity to explain my actions without violating site rules. There is an ongoing game, however, in which both aegor and I am in. Aegor believes I'm easy to mislynch.
Want to demonstrate that you are town? Stop pulling shit like that.

@ald:
I don't exactly remember what your vote looked like when you made it, but gif pointed out how it looked badly and it did, really.
I don't remember the cooperation you are talking about, sadly. Why don't you think a townie trying to figure out the game would want to cooperate with a scumread? I do that all the time when I'm town and not tunneling.
What do you think of other players, for instance us and kagami?
Point out the scumminess, honey. Just telling us about it won't help you.In post 110, Kagami wrote: I don't buy nazarene town, and I'm having trouble figuring out why I don't have any traction here. His posts feel very, very obv-scum to me; even his quoted hydra chat in 54 reads like scum trying to decide if they should claim hated rather than town deciding if they should tell everyone about it.
You suggest that we should have claimed hated only when we were done talking about it, ignoring the fact that we were at L-1?Even at that, isn't it odd that town-nazarene's heads "agreed" to claim hated, when they actually claimed hated because they were driven to L-1 and were fearful they'd be accidentally lynched?
RlyI think ferry is far too careful to mod-slip like this, as well. Even if we don't believe that a hated player could be scum, it's entirely possible that scum-nazarene has a mod-given "hated" fake-claim, which ferry chose not to spoil by posting L-Xs.
Now stop mudslinging pls

Why are you not voting us? Everything in your posts seems to suggest we are scum. Our heads are still in harmony, isn't that scummy?
Just the fact that our hated claim makes sense, is enough for you to deny your gut scumread? What happened to all our posts being scummy?
What do you think of orc's vote on us? Don't you think it's lazy?
Yeah I'm pretty much ok with tip's vote. You've been acting scummily and he has meta on you and he says it's your scum game. I haven't heard concrete arguments but neither have I heard meta-arguments for you-town.-

The Heads of the Hydra agree that PN is a total scumbag for attempting to rush a quicklynch on Medea and general scummy behavior, including a questionable L-1 vote on Kagami presented with fake humor. This is bad.
This Head of the Hydra personally finds TIP repulsive in every way imaginable and very likely scum. In particular, if the fake nature of the cop claim was so obvious, this Head wonders why TIP did not take advantage of the opportunity to gain information in whatever way he thought best.
Despite the coincidence of these reads with those of GuyInFreezer, this Head of the Hydra is still uncomfortable with the conspicuous absence that Medea has mentioned and that this Head has confirmed by looking at GiF's post history. This Head finds this scummy.
The Heads of the Hydra will confer and place a vote.

I'm cool with Medea's response to the fake guilty (which was REALLY close to actually getting them lynched, nati, you jackass), but they're definitely not off the hook yet.
Kagami is also still questionable. But now, I'd rather vote bert.
Bert usually shows at least a grain of town motivation.

Pressure, sure, but it looked more like wagoning for the sake of running someone up than being interested in listening to her points in response. I'm not confident on her being town, but I am pretty sure there was scum on her wagon at some point, either PN or TIP. Probably not both given the flimsiness of the arguments.
Are you saying that even if she is scum, there was scum on the wagon? Why do you feel so confident that there was scum on the wagon?

Re: Hated claim. The Heads of the Hydra have crumbed the mechanic of the hated claim so it can be retroactively corroborated. This Head of the Hydra sees no need to divulge a mechanic that he knows will not last indefinitely. It will not affect play.

I'm liking bert better now.
I'm also feeling, just as garruk is, that TIP probably is town but very likely to be mislynched. Aegor doesn't really agree here.
Anyway, we want to move a vote to where we both feel comfortable. That would mean either towards kagami or towards alduskkel.

He's been coasting pretty hard on his orc vote now and I see no attempts at figuring out the game. All the stuff he says is incredibly weak and useless.

No, we both have alduskkel as scum. 262 looks actually really scummy for me, the way he talks about you there. Can't you see yourself voting ald?
I'm not convinced TIP is town but he surely makes a shitty mislynch since there is very little information to be gained because both scum and town might have been soft-pushing him like this. The uninspired wagon that has been dragging doesn't really look like a wagon on scum either.-

Yes. This Head of the Hydra would love nothing more than to let a metaphorical noose squeeze the life force out of TIP, but my other Head is more reticent in that regard for reasons listed in-thread.In post 285, Medea the Alien wrote:
Do you think it's a valid question? Given where your vote is.In post 271, Nazarene wrote:I want an answer to ald's question: how can anyone really be town reading TIP at the moment?
I can answer only for myself. Orc has content. I do not like that content very much, but at least it is there. Ald has made no attempt to scumhunt whatsoever except for a completely awful and factually inaccurate case on orc. TIP should die a horrible death, but as my other Head has stated, he is a low-info lynch. Ald therefore has the edge.Because I still want an answer to my inquiry in 269 before the deadline runs out...

It is really disturbing to this Head of the Hydra that activity is this low at seven hours before deadline. I suppose people have work, but a NL is frightening possible.
This Head vehemently recommends that those who are the only ones voting their current vote targets pick from among the 2-vote wagons.
