Why the unvote here? Like at the very least you could keep it on as pressure.

bpc/ceph: ceph is a strong townread right now. bpc, not so much. bert pointed out that the ladies' motivation is to stay in the dance, but the gentleman's isn't. which made me start thinking about what the gentlemen's motivations actually are - for scum, that'd be to pair optimally. the moment ceph gave bpc an out, he took it, before pine ever even posted. and then on pressure, he backpedalled. between flubber/bpc, equal scumreads, which also kind of reinforces the fact that flubber is sniping at ceph without actually voting him.

This is ignoring a lot though. From the start I wanted to pair with Ceph because I know I can work with him. I tend to get lost in games, especially with some bigger personalities like anti/mollie/you and he can help me sort through that. Past that, I think I would have a decent chance at a good read in private with him, and with a town read we could basically treat it as a hydra which we've wanted to do like as an actual thing for a while now. But this all begs the question that if you have scum reads on both Flubb and I, why do you wanna leave? or at least why did you want to leave when you had zero read on Flames?

BPC's entrance was worrying in that his play doesnt feel loose (this has nothing to do with whether his handling of choosing a dance partner was suboptimal or anything). But the switch last minute to accepting Ceph looked like he felt pressure to accept Ceph, and i need him to state why he changed last minute

Well, there was the whole mollie directly telling him to do that thing.

I'll let him explain other stuff if he wants but I know that there's a bit more to it than that.

I wanted to fuck around for the pre-dance but shit went fast and got heavy yo. Ceph's reaction after I put the bolded accept Pine's thing when he asks just felt like townceph to me. He instantly went to trying to not make me feel bad about choosing someone else, where I think a scumceph might be a bit more pissy about it. A big factor was other people's reactions to his posts as well. The main reason for not choosing Ceph was that he would end up be a distraction the next day with Anti coming at him, but with mollie pushing me to actually just go with the thing I want, I figured Anti would be able to calm down on tunnelling and there wouldn't be the whole distraction the next day. Also, I was just fucking relieved I could actually work with Ceph and have an early townread on him.

I know y'all missed me and Ceph is making me post! I've been talking a lot, very slowly with Ceph and we figured my best course of action was to go through different ISOs in the game.

Going through mollie:
My initial issue early on was her posting style, it felt fairly self-serving. Specifically these posts: 91 and 101. I thought they felt kinda of awkward, like placing herself as a town lead or something.

Then in post 111 she states that she's with Anti on a slight Ceph scum read, yet Anti states later that it's a prepage 5 gut read. Why were you with that read at this point?

The pressure she's putting on Ceph I was intially weary on but gratnted I havnet posted much and we've been talking a lot in PT/chat/whatevs, my read on him would probs be different. We've gone through things post by post a lot. I'm specifically trying to go through a few players we're really not sure on right nowand throwing things at hime. I have a pretty hard townread on him for a few reasons. He's been very helpful in helping me with reads where I think he could easily try to mislead. He is at times unsure of reads, but still puts perspective on when I ask him things. I think he could easily play me in this game, but I find that he's treating it like a hydra kinda thing. Then given his whole reaction with the predance, I have no problem being open with him in pruvate, I'm preeetty condident he town.

Ceph is pretty much gone for the next couple of days, so right now it's nothing. Up till now we literally will go through a bunch of posts and just talk about them, spitball, whatever. The impression that I get from Ceph is that he wants to help me get good reads, while still being pretty unsure of his own reads. him questioning himself all over the place reads to me as a pretty normal behind the scenes Ceph. He's good at portraying confidence even whe he fully doesn't have it. I'd expect a scumCeph to maybe be a bit more forward with reads and have aa bit more cinfidence in private because he knows I'm more willing to listen and follow his ideas at this point.
