Oh whoops I didn't realize that. I thought he posted it in a different forum.

Basically he's testing a post that failed in a game. The reason for the failure is the end tags for the spoiler and wrapping quote are juxtaposed.

Here's another one AP if you need another example-it has to do with quoting spoilered text I think. I can't even spoiler this one because the messed up part won't spoiler.

Hopefully, you can see in my posts why I shifted off BBT to dave. I have no interest in elaborating on that. wgeurts and math I'm not as sure of regarding being scum as I am dave and those are the other two pushes right now. It's quickly approaching deadline. I'm not the only one who jumped off dodgy. Several did. I'm not the only one shifting around. Several are. So why are you so concerned about my switch? I've been suspicious of dave long before I moved to him and have explained that a few times now. I feel he's more likely to be scum than dodgy. I asked dodgy to vote and start giving reads and he did that and starting participating more as well as trying to figure the game out. Like I said, his posts improved. Reads change. I'm more suspicious of people who are never willing to change their reads or their vote and are not willing to take in new information and adjust their reads and votes accordingly. Why do you have such a problem with my switch but no one else's?

I have a problem with your switch because it's the one I can't follow. You went from questioning Wax to having Dodgy on top of your read list a few pages later, with virtually nothing in between. I don't necessarily mind changing reads, but this one specifically doesn't seem to flow naturally to me. I don't think Dodgy cleared himself. I certainly don't see him on top of your list.

I'd really, really like that explanation you offered earlier.

No one thinks he is buddying you if that's what you are asking. The implication is that he's your scumbuddy bussing you. If he was buddying you, he would not be voting for you.

Is that what you are asking right now? This concern of yours about Dave just screams that you are worried about being linked to him.

and ive said i dont think dave is scummy lately? his early game was a bit scummy, but to me his play later in the day seemed townie.

This post also looks like you are concerned about Dave but in a different way.

I have to re-read what I missed since I last posted and don't have time right now but Wax, you are accused of confbiasing and suddenly drop your scumread on Dodgy that you've been pushing most of the game based on a few posts?

Second, I do not like BBT's pushes this game, they do not seem genuine to me at all. His questions go nowhere. He just does a lot of things that look town but are superficial and if you dig deeper you'll see he doesn't follow up like town would.

I'm not sure how to describe this better when I am sleep deprived and dealing with insomnia.

How did you get here? I've read over that exchange with Dodgy a couple times now, and it's not particularly Townish to me. I'm not getting any sense of him sorting through the game, and his suspicions don't flow naturally - I think he's grasping anything that'll keep him afloat.

I'll try to elaborate when I get home from work, but I don't get this sudden reversal.

His latest posts look a lot better to me than his earlier posts. I can give you better reasons if you'd like with post links but it'll have to wait until I have a bit more time. Feel free to elaborate on dodgy scum also when you can.

) but I'm noting that the Dodgy vs. Wax battle consisted of Dodgy doing little but arguing against Dave as his partner. What reads he had felt pretty shallow. There's a few off-notes bugging me, but my take is that Dodgy's more likely to be scum, and Dave's not. Wax appears to be set on Dave for scum, and I think that's throwing his read off here.

Take that as you will, but please do explain your thoughts.

I've explained my switch to you every single time you have asked. Search my ISO. Stop trying to position yourself to vote me over your disappointment that I switched off dodgy, when there have been numerous people who have changed their minds on pushes this game. I'm more suspicious of people who stick with one person because they are not willing to change their reads based on new info. And if you want to vote me, when I have no votes this close to deadline, and take nothing else I've done in this game into consideration, then you are probably scum yourself because that is how scum look for new mislynches.[/quote][/quote]

There was no spoiler in a spoiler though. A quote like this can't be spoilered BUT these were quotes where one of them had a spoiler in it and trying to quote it caused the above problem. Happened in a recent newbie game that AP quoted and in the one I quoted above. It's just something to be aware of in the future that quoting quotes with spoilers will cause this problem. I suppose I could go through and quote strip or fix tags but that's kind of a PITA. LOL
