If you have a power to edit/delete your post, don't do it. If you scumslip, just accept it and eat rope.*
Play nice. Insulting players with using any form of racial/sexual slur or any kind of derogatory languages or excessive harassing in any way will result in immediate force-replacement.*
There will be strict adherence to the site policy about prohibiting discussion of ongoing games, which can be found

Ciara24 is being replaced, I cannot accept a week long V/LA when this game was openly advertised as 10 day deadline

ika will have until 2:00pm USA East Coast time on August 19th (tomorrow, 5 full days after the game started...=1/2 of a day phase) to post, or he will be replaced

As a note for the rest of the game, any V/LA that lasts longer than 120 hours (=5 real life days, =exactly half of a day phase), will now be replaced. I will add this to the rules in post #1, and keep this in mind for any future games I mod with shorter than 2 week deadlines.

A lynch has been achieved!

After years of suffering from manipulation, puppeteering, being stuffed in suitcases, and getting left on the floor - frog town decided they'd had enough.

"PERSONAL FOUL!," yelled Refo, the referee frog. "THAT IS A 1 LIFETIME PENALTY!"

Giraffen, hearing Refo's cue, takes the drawstrings off his sweatshirt and hands them over to Hops. Hops hops his way from the doorstep to the front yard, where the other frogs have gathered in a circle around two trees.

There they all stand, butts facing the center of the circle doing their customary booty dance, invented by the frog with the largest ass ever, Barry Ponds (AKA - Beep). The booty dance gets faster and faster, and the frogs start all croaking and ribbiting in unison. Vanilla (bean), vanilla (milkshake), (bad) vanilla, and vanilla (turkey) then form a frog tower, one standing on top of the other.

Hops hands Skip the drawstring. Skip skips his way up the frog tower, secures the drawstring to one branch of the right-most tree, and sets the noose.

Then the frogs disband their sacred booty dance, rush into the house, and surround the victim. The victim is excited to see the frogs, for that is what he lives for. Unfortunately for him, little does he realize they will also be the death of him.

The frogs smother their victim and force him outside, just like the victim has done to them many times over.

With all their collective frog strength, they hoist him up into the noose, then let go.

The puppeteer is no more.

As daybreak comes, Fro99er has been moved to the cemetery where the frogs pay their final respects. He was a good puppeteer until his started to lose his mind, according to the frogs.

A lynch has been achieved!

As the frogs come back from a fun filled day of playing leapfrog and hanging out on the lilipads by the pool they come back home to find things awry.

There's eucalyptus leaves everywhere, and the jar of gourmet flies has been knocked over and shattered. The frogs know what's up.

"Giraffen, why would you destroy the gourmet flies, just to fulfill your eucalyptus fantasy?" questions vanilla turkey.

"It wasn't me...I'm being framed. Honest!" Giraffen chirps back.

There is a large uproaring of angry croaking coming from the frogs until Skip screams "ENOUGH! There are pieces of a bow caught in the glass shards the jar. That can only mean myself, or Hops is framing Giraffen."

The frogs concur, and take Hops out front to the tree. Hops has disturbed the frog clan and must be offed. The frogs go through the customary ritual, and as night falls things get quiet. Hops hangs from the limb, and the frogs coldly hop back inside.

A lynch has been achieved!

The frogs debate who picked up the mess from the night before.

"It was me! I cleaned it up" Bad Vanilla chimes in, full frog smile in force

All the other frogs take turns frog smiling

(to practice your own frog smile, purse your lips tightly together, especially in the corners, and try to smile without taking your lips apart, like such

)

Suddenly, Vanilla Turkey says "let's go play some leapfrog!" This is pretty routine exercise for frogs...gotta stay fit and all. They head to the frog gym and play treadmill leapfrog to get their heart rate up.

The only problem...

"WHO THE FUCK INVITED A TOAD!" screams Barry Ponds. "GET THE WARTY CREATURE OUT OF HERE!"

The frogs, up in arms, chase the toad away. Then they debate who is still disturbing the harmony. They reach the conclusion that Bad Vanilla wanted to clean up the evidence for good credit among the army of frogs. Especially given that his name is

Bad

Vanilla, it seemed all too suspicious. He's also had contact with toads in the past, which is how he got the name Bad Vanilla in the first place.

That night, they take Bad Vanilla to the tree, perform the ritual, and head inside the house......

A lynch has been achieved!

After a loooooooooooooong day of chasing flies, the frogs decide they should go to the frog night club for some booty dancing. Frog booty dancing was invented 2.5 years ago by Barry Ponds, he of the large frog ass.

They go hoping to have a grand old time, but a few of the Vanilla frogs (Vanilla Bean, Vanilla Milkshake, and Vanilla Turkey) cannot get the hang of booty dancing.

Barry Ponds (AKA Beep) gets frustrated. He starts bouncing his ass in their face and generally just making an ass of himself with his large ass. He keeps backing up into other frogs with dat ass, and finally the frogs have had enough.

Refo, the only frog old enough to drink, has had one too many tequila with fly shots and threatens Beep with a personal foul. Beep retaliates, and all hell breaks loose.

Beep pulls out a gun, but it's ninja'd away by Croaker who was behind Beep as Beep was booty dancing. A mad leapfrog scramble ensues. A lot of croaking and ribbiting and then...

BANG

A lynch has been achieved!

The frogs wake up the next day a bit on edge. Barry Ponds has died, but the frogs vow his death won't be in vein.

Refo was the one who started the fight with Beep and is quickly questioned. Refo states he was simply drunk, but had no intention of harming beep. Refo says Croaker kept feeding him drinks.

Then it all clicks.

*Croak* *Ribbit* *Croak* *Ribbit*

The frogs are up in arms (not legs, screw frog legs...nobody should ever eat those things). Croaker fed Refo the drinks. Croaker ninja'd the gun out of Beeps hand.

"I swear, I was doing it to protect everyone," croaks Croaker. "Beep was a threat to us all with the gun, I had to knock the gun out of his hand."

Refo, the referee frog, decides Croaker deserves a personal foul, and gives him a penalty. Jail - followed by death. This ensures Croaker never creates this mess again.

After jailing Croaker, peace and harmony returns to the frog army. It's all chocolate covered flies, lillipads, and leapfrogs from here out. With one final exception...the customary tree ritual...

Metal and I faced an odd/even investigative in BEES, and we had a perfect scum win with only an encryptor and 2 goons, so it's possible. Town also had an encryptor-enabler and two backup innocent children, so we could have lost our encryptorness and town had extra power compared to here.

I don't think this was too townsided, but maybe a tiny bit.

I think certain reviewers have their own bias, and I definitely had reviewers flat out nix a few roles (like, "don't use this role" type stuff). Next time I might take it to a few friends and see what they think for balance, and just have it reviewed for normalcy.

I feel like the roleblock would have made balance almost perfect.

FWIW here's what I proposed after a few iterations:

No, you are right. And I will defend that town earned the victory.

But even town said it was too town sided so there is that. But I can't help but think it was influenced by town lynching the encryptor D1 which totally comes down to play, not setup.

Either way, I absolutely LOVED Ika's no kill and the speculation that ensued. I said in the review thread I love setup spec, and that turned out well here.

I have to give town props for a well earned win, but also to ika for at least making it interesting and not a town sweep.

Either way, doesn't matter. I think gAme dynamics influenced the win more than balance of the setup, although I'm always happy to hear feedback on the setup so I can make better ones for the future
