My #1 vote choice right now is actually Firebringer. I think he's playing exceptionally well and reasonably. I just think his confidence in his reads and reactions come from him being informed. I thought about whether it was a good idea to join him on Snivy. For now, I'm comfortable calling a distance bluff.

I think jjh has continually trended upwards with his recent play. At some point while skimming over the weekend I became more uncomfortable with a Titus vote even as I failed to townread her.

fundamentally i disagree with you because i think that while it is nice as a wolf to be able to do as you want sometimes it’s not optional to do what you want in order to live
my interpretation of her play in a nutshell is that she took a slot that was suspected partially due to inactivity. she kicks it up immediately with her opening and doubles down on certain reads which she’s mostly kept throughout the entire game
i’m going to argue to you that she is wolf because she is inflexible; i think that if she was town, i think that she would have come to more conclusions post flip. she’d be more interested in actual content than, fmpov, fighting and fearmongering and trying to broker deals. i feel like the fights she’s getting in now with shirou are like… not actually things rooted to content in the game in a way that matters. they’re a way to push a wagon through under some very flimsy prospects.

I really, really like this entire back and forth. Ydrasse is pretty earnestly annoyed at Titus being off the table for camel, but it takes several posts for her to really lay it out. This really doesn't seem like she's just going through the motions.

The short takeaways:

1. Post 612 from camel seems pretty town-indicative for Ydrasse.
2. The extended back and forth with camel starting at post 1935 seems incredibly genuine, like Ydrasse is annoyed that camel is taking Titus off the table. I think this is very town-indicative.
3. There are a scattering of lesser interactions riddled throughout early/middlegame, but these seem in range for both parties.

TBH I'm probably just going to vote Dragons. I saw multiple good reasons to townread literally everyone else in that triple ISO, while the only strong +town for Dragons was Firebringer's vote in 2967. Other tonal interactions were plausibly clearing to me yesterday but the new Fire/Camel sample showed me that was in error.

It's strong but I suspect I'm going to find stronger from everyone else. My best guess is that Fire was hoping the wagon would naturally defuse. I was hardshoving Andres at that point, and much of Fire's play was already angled at framing Andres. Fire completely 180'd on the Dragons slot with that vote. The only other big question here is why the fuck Dragons stayed over Fire except to troll/cause chaos.

I'm still going to go through the full motions but yeah. I'm still going to reread all of the slots but after my earlier readthrough I think I already know where this is going.

I had an extremely mean post here. I deleted it. This one is imperfect but nicer. I'm extremely annoyed that Dragons is, for the third time in a row with me, disappearing completely in an endgame situation and waiting for other players to lose the game for him so he doesn't have to risk losing it himself.

It will give me some happiness if my instinct is correct and he is scum this game, but I am incredibly bitter if he is town, because I will get to play the scapegoat for actually taking risks and trying to win.

I thought a lot of the utility came from being able to see how Fire/camel interacted, because I think those set the bar. I think Ydrasse's early questioning of camel being S/S is a very realistic scenario, even though that's not my conclusion.

If you disagree and it didn't nudge anything for you, shrug. I don't think we've come out very differently on Ydrasse at the end of the day, and I don't think the way to read you is interrogating this specific line of reasoning.

Reread imaginality. The game is still very hard.

I walked away from it feeling that the pairing was very plausible.........until I got to Fire's vote in 3801. This vote stays on through an E-1 scare, Fire makes some attempt to sell it, and it's the other vote of his when he's playing cat and mouse with Shirou at the end.

It's a hard game and falling ill put me behind not just in this game but in my classes, and I'm not going to get to read all I want to. It's hard, we've gotten outplayed, and damn this sucks. I'm going to give this slot a 5 even though the vote alone should probably make it a 9.

The only other point of real interest I saw was this:

Had I swapped over, imaginality would have been placed at E-1.

I expect it to be jjh at this point, who has played exceptionally well individually but the most likely suspects are all coming up negative. I previously reviewed gob and found that incredibly unlikely. Incidentally I've seen things rereading that really point to not-T3.

So far my preference from the slots I've reread would be imaginality->Yeetdrasse->gob->Dragons, even though gob's been awhile.

There's a world where Fire leaves over imaginality just to be cruel/troll/play with the food, but I think the risk of losing from that is just too high. Fire staying isn't an obvious win, as with an imaginality flip Dragons and T3 look better, but imaginality is always going to be in so much worse of a spot.

The point of describing it has now passed completely. I'll give you the answer for fun though. The strategy didn't change starting from the second or third real-life day of the game when I decided to force through a notscience/Lukewarm vote for fun on Day 1. I relentless bruteforced towntells to guarantee my own safety then used my instant reactions and the deadlines to choke the life out of town completely. I briefly had a question of whether or not to bus IV on Day 2 but it changed little.

Firebringer spent a large chunk of yesterday on imaginality. This included a good stretch of time where he was at E-2 and very likely to go through, and a small section where I put imaginality at E-1.

Scum loses if any scum player gets voted out. This means Firebringer/imaginality were really playing with fire (ha) yesterday.

I think T3's posting around Fire was bizarre and perhaps forced distancing yesterday, but I think Fire's vote is a bit +town and I'm a bit confused as to why T3 leaves over Fire unless they both expected me to harddefend the slot.

I think Fire leaving makes a lot of sense if jjh is the one intended to go deep. The biggest + here for jjh is a combination of his and camel's reciprocal pushes on each other Day 2. I also want to credit stalling out Day 2 for partner interactions a little bit, too, even though that's sketchy.

I'd lean jjh right now but it's a close call for me, at least, if you have any thoughts.
