Claiming scum is pretty scummy (it isn't scumlock worthy I think), though ejjinami was seeming way too scummy to actually be scum weirdly enough.

TL, how can Elijami be town for claiming scum but Eyes is scum for CC’ing?

In essence I agree with Fumuki - if you want advice about how to read people, try to look for the motivations for their actions, rather than how they sound.

The person doesn’t change as town or scum, so chances are they will sound the same but act differently.

It’s a subtle distinction which I still don’t really get, but I try to look for it now.

However, ejjinami's play strikes me as "no sane scum is actually that scummy". Almost Jestery even, except there are no Jesters here. 22 is a good example. I'm assuming she's town who's hoping people call her bluff.

Eyes strikes me as a Goon who wants people to vote Eyes instead of the actual bomb (who is probably a deepwolf tbh)

Motivational-wise HRG is potentially a deepwolf, but I'm not voting my top read. There's a difference between a high risk gamble and a foolhardy undertaking.

RF feels less likely to be a deepwolf. The meta read feels like too much effort for scum.

Here are some posts by awest and why they're bad:

[My vote isn't on there because of the deepwolf discussion but more so because of the way they've been playing as a whole. Over-reading things is something that could be considered a flaw as both alignments, however with their stubbornness, I feel like it's more so scummy. They're putting too much of an emphasis on small things.

For example, Fumuki thought it was passive aggressive for Flubbernugget to say "what's up here?"

I haven't done a full ISO on Fumuki but this is definitely true for their recent posts.

It's a good idea to lynch the bomb D1 and I doubt the obvious scum is the bomb. Deepwolves tend to be better bombs.

The vote on Fumuki was weird, but the reasoning is terrible.

And awest's refutation of Fumuki's meta read is no good.

If I town-read someone, I don't worry about them being a deepwolf because that would make my town-read weak. You can't town-read someone and also think they're a deepwolf at the same time. This is why this discussion is useless.

A townread on a potential deepwolf is not a terrible townread I think, just not the best one.

And this is going against the town by sticking a spanner in the deepwolf discussion again. To me this is lockscum. Only scum tries to protect scum in this way.
