I don't understand. Enchant has mostly joked and while that's frustrating I don't fully see how you can determine what they are for joking? I'd be happy if they take things seriously and start solving but so far it is early, nepenthe hasn't posted and a lot of others haven't said a lot. Why can't Kawaii be a wolf? And can you please tell me why you think Elsa is a villager? I do not think you explained that, only shared. Elsa has said a lot but you and Magical Girl insist they are good, just on how they are feeling. Really don't understand?

I played enough with enchant that I can almost hear him post, and I think in this game there's an awkwardness to it that points to scum. enchant is sharp and inquisitive town, which is hidden in an almost trollish approach to game threads. when he is scum there's only the jokes with no town mindset.

In any case I feel kind of doubtful about her progression on you because like... The focus on you voting someone without giving much of an explanation felt like it would make sense coming from someone like Comus, but Elsa really doesn't seem like the type. I find it very difficult to thread the needle between the actions of just announcing in the thread who you think might be a PR, and then suspecting someone for not playing according to mafia orthodoxy. I think elsa is going to show her alignment over time, as she is very involved with the game and is very communicative and open with her reads. I think focusing on little contradictions or reads that seem to not fit well with what you consider enough evidence (re: kawaii's read) isn't how I think the slot should be read. elsa has been tunneled by a good number of people now since the very first posts and she's handling the pressure well, posting towny game advancing thoughts throughout. idk what else you want. but I don't wanna sit here and defend her, maybe you're right, maybe all these little things you're picking make her scum, but I don't see it and like I don't wanna talk about them? her progression on my slot for instance, seems like a waste to be thinking about it.

my experience with enchant: doctor game 9er = easy early tr. 2019 game = scum, was calling him scum practically alone. HMS mutiny = scum, spent a good chunk of the game alone trying to wagon him. abloaf = town, easy early townread.

my thoughts on elsa are pretty clear: I think her emotions are genuine or, if they're not, they feel close enough to the real thing that I have a hard time not townreading that. so ok. of course this is me deliberately construing salsa's posting as things a wolf is doing, but I have a sense that this is likely a reality in this game.

now as far as std's posts go, I think perhaps what points more strongly to him being mafia is coming here and not townreading me, since we had many many games together and this d1 is quite typical of my towngame and unlike any of the games I played with std in which I was wolf. I expect town std to pick up on my posting as a townread, instead of keeping me as a pet scumread so he can join my wagon when its convenient to do so.

I also think his townread on you coming way after p.20 is surprising as you're clearly showing a towny mindset since very early itg

I think we can lim in (std, nono, dio) and deal with the consequences of that. I can't parse the three of them out really cause they didn't play but I have a guess that it contains at least one scum. out of the trio I think std is the scummiest slot, but I think dio's post was a little >rand scum. idk about nono.

he seems to be missing sitewide so that part is NAI, but his posting I thought it was a bit >rand scum. 'game is a mess' 'my head hurts' I think are thoughts that happen more often when people are scum, especially the newer players who are gonna have more difficult dealing with filtering what's important from the game thread, you see what I'm saying here?

I was going to make a joke about this game ending on d5 with elsa jay being miselim'ed and flipping town modified cop variant and the scumteam of dio, std and nono winning the game. glad to see us sharing a POE anyway.

but I read and I like what your thoughts on kokichi are. tbh I don't think I can parse him out very well atm, he's done some towny things and some weird/scummy things. I think he is acting very cynical but it seems like a mood and not something related to his alignment.

@ausuka: granted, there isn't much but *feels* to it. I've skimmed through his posting and there isn't much of an argument to be made on why kokichi is town. there's a couple of things I like: when koki made whatever scumclaim thing he made, and kawaii voted him for it. gera picks on that to ask kawaii if that's a joke vote, and kokichi pushes gera for it. I don't think that went anywhere? and then in the pages where me, ausuka and enchant are having a go in the thread, and magical girl calls all those pages garbage (they were) and then kokichi says they're not garbage cause there's a lot of AI stuff going on there.

it's really thin and I think you have a more compelling case for why kokichi is mafia than I could make one for why he is town. at any rate he should town it up if he is town.

re: me changing my reads, idk if my reads were super good but I think enchant has a very good chance of actually being mafia, but also this is a game I'm feeling particularly unheard and like people just wanna kill me so it's a little frustration to solve
