I'm not saying that it is a town post, but there are signs that do point to a broader picture of town-TWIE. While I was driving home , a thought crossed my mind in support of TWIE town but I can't remember it now. Still, -could- be scum, and while I'm not willing to write this slot off, I'm going to write it off for at least Today.



Like I said, its a little bit of meta, a little bit of attitude, but the scraps to piece together into a canvas that looks roughly town. Especially coupled with the immediate scumreading of reinoe (a lurker slot) after being called out on not having any scumreads. Reinoe didn't really do anything alignment indicative IMO and TSO's sudden read there sucks.

Reinoe's lackadaisical approach to this game strikes me as someone who got a towncard and isn't afraid to just mess around for the fun of it. Also his case on Bob over rolefishing was really OMGUSy but in general I expect that concern about rolefishing to come from town more than scum. Also I just generally don't like any of the names on his wagon right now.

Toomai's presence in this game has been lackluster and I didn't really like his response to Aegor. He seems to realize that Aegor is trolling (possibly for the sake of garnering a reaction) and Toomai's response really felt like it was missing the obvious and choosing to respond to things that are easy to point out. So like strawmanning to a degreee although thats not really the term Im looking for. The response sort of stripped away any consideration of the context of what Aegor was doing and focused on shooting down obviously dummy points. so ya strawmanning to a degree. Not that Aegor has a great case to speak of, but the lack of emotional response to Aegor from Toomai just rings wrong.

You skipped over this to quote the post where I obstinately reasserted that Reinoe was towny because I felt like being snarky to TSO, ok. TSO then proceeded to list things Reinoe did that I found meh and he found scummy so I asserted that I find them meh and not scummy. None of these points were particularly town of Reinoe, my read there is really mostly his air rather than what TSO pointed out. But you are not really considering my response in the context of responding to TSO's case on him.

It was where I mused about thinking Reinoe is town more likely than not and then proceeded to call Reinoe town after thinking it. I said Reinoe's post wasn't scummy. I reflected on it after responding to posts in my catchup and decided I thought Reinoe was likely more town than not. Then I stubbornly told TSO reinoe was town when TSO said he was scum.

I get that I said nothing 'alignment indicative' when I was doing my catchup, but that was just me not liking the votes on Reinoe and responding accordingly without having considered my own read there for any length of time. Part of my townread on Reinoe is based on not liking the people voting for him (which I know I expressed), so there is that.

That was partially me. Cabd and I just got out of an open game where we were scum with Reinoe. He is just a bit notably different than he was there. There are a few things I find intrinsically scummy about the claim. Firstly, Gunsmith is ~generally~ a safe claim to make. Its unlikely to get counter claimed most of the time, and there are very few roles that can even soft CC it. A cop in the game interacts with the GS, so that sort of supports it. We have MVP making a relatively unlikely claim that is unlikely to get countered if false. Now, I know GS has used gunsmiths before. Waiiiit, I just looked at the endgame list and I can't tell, bit I could have sworn there was a GS in that game. Cabd/Ceph can one of you help me out here? Or did Cowbells just fake it or something? I know I flaked out of that game really hard. ANYWAYS, my stream of thoughts there is on hold until I figure that out. I dislike the even-night part of the claim since they are claiming something very powerful, but also something that has to wait to get results back and is not very responsible for producing results because of the modifier.

I don't really see why you find this odd. Calling people out on inconsistencies is a common thing for people to do, and people are way more likely in general to care-about/notice inconsistencies related to themselves because at heart we are all egotistical bastards. Why is this scummy/awkward of Cabd to point out but not care about your initial assertion? I want to hear your thought process on the matter rather than just describing to me what happened, cause I know what happened and I think it actually looks town on Cabd. 15 players is a really weird game size. Generally you'd see 3/13 or 4/17 as baseline numbers. I was kind of expecting 1 sk : 3 maf: 11 town. I brought it up loosely on D1 to see if anyone would spec with me about it, but no one did. If the town is really power heavy (starting to wonder if that is the case, cough, cough) then it could be 4:11? I agree with whoever said it seems unlikely its multifaction/SK given only 1 kill N1.
