It's scummy to say you're busy?

yes, you will never tell me otherwise, you can argue its more NAI, but I'd like to believe its more 70% in favor of it coming from wolves, while 30% of the time it comes from villagersIn post 1600, Something_Smart wrote:Say what?In post 1599, Wiisp wrote:Everyone is just here like, "god I'm so fucking busy guys, I'm so sorry", that's scummy self-awareness in most cases

I'd be afraid of a repeat of the Anime U-Pick paranoia-fest, and unsure if I agree. The only "mastermind" type players in this list who I know are capable of playing in that fashion are myself, you/your hydra/GoT(with all it's MariaR heads)/and Shining Dreamers. So, 4/17 are capable, that's like a 30% chance of having *at least* one of those four slots ending up as scum. Which I guess is decent odds? Not much better than the odds of any one slot being scum initially through pure randing though. In post 1597, Team RWBY wrote:hey cerb
what would you think if I told you that I think there's good odds of scum having a mastermind this game

You're more likely town than random

So, since the math doesn't really work out...I have to ask if you think there's been evidence in the play of any of those slots so far to indicate manipulation?
Or if my math is off because I'm not giving credit to people as potentially masterminding the game who I should be giving credit to?

Elaborate on the bolded? In post 1606, Something_Smart wrote:You're more likely town than random
GoT is more likely scum than random but not considerably
RWBY is town
Papyrus is probably town
I will trust you on Chemist
No clue on HL but I will oppose lynching them D1

Something_Scummy looks... not like his town self, which is worth a vote
I'm taking executive control of our vote

I believe both members of that hydra are often lynchbait.

What confuses me is why you would ask someone not to do something scummy, when them doing something scummy would help you read them better.By the way, this is a really scummy series of posts and further solidifies a scumread there. Why are we at 50 pages? Are we gonna lynch scum or what?In post 573, Something_Smart wrote:For the record, scumminess is technically not subjective. (And certainly it's not the case that EVERYTHING is subjective.) Every behavior is either scum indicative or it isn't, and what we form are not opinions but beliefs about what is and isn't scummy. It's possible for a belief to be objectively wrong. I don't really think you're right about tryharding being more likely scum; I believe it's player dependent. I'd guess that the trolling players you've seen were mostly town because most players are town and you remember them more. There's no way that more than 50% of the players you've seen being super serious were scum, the math just doesn't check out.

Probably papyrus? someone should tell me why papyrus is town tho i rlly dont see it

Do you believe that they'll stop being lynchbait later in the game, and/or obvtown/obvscum themselves? If so, at what point in the game do you expect decisive behaviors to be displayed by them? If not, why are they so much less likely to be scum than random that you'd defend them vehemently?
