I'm very glad to see UltimatePlank go.

The entire fight between UP and Menalque was very hard to read and very, very anti-town. It is about what I expected to happen eventually which is why I did not want to play with UP. I am glad that we got this out of the way early in the game though. But to be clear, this is not praise for Menalque for making it happen. Pages of his bile-filled comments are bad for the game and bad for town.

Unfortunately, just reading all of that and taking notes took up almost all of the limited time I had for mafia today. I apologize and will try to find more time to post tomorrow.

I know this wasn't directed at me but i'd say wagon composition probably spews at least 1 town as these are the two lead wagons at the moment. Reading votes was never really my strongest point though to be fair.

a lot of the two word posts in the iso sort of fall flat and the fact that they dont really quote anyone means i have to click more links to proprely get context and i definitely feel like this is something everyone does (hanlon razor and all) but scum is incentivised to do it more oftan than normal because it increases the amount of efford required to anlyse their iiso

also I've been chewing on this and I think it's just plain scum reasoning.

the argument here is that Looker is intentionally not quoting posts to make their ISO harder to reread for townies trying to sort them. which sounds dumb on the surface, and bugspray even acknowledges that this is something everyone might do regardless of alignment and could easily be explained by just playstyle (at least, that's how I'm interpreting the Hanlon razor remark).

the thought process feels both
a) reachy - like the kind of thing newb!scum tries to make up to feel like they're doing capital-A Analysis - yet also
b) self-conscious of how it holds up to scrutiny
at the same time. I'm having a hard time imagining town genuinely thinking this argument for scum!Looker is meaningful, and delivering it in the way that bugspray did.

As you said I was sheeping Datisi's logic (on looker not just in general) I liked the case they presented on looker and it convinced me on a scum!looker.

For the amount of problems he had with bji, not having a vote on him would be scummy af at this stage of the game imo. Signals that he wasn't actually trying to solve the game, just making up activity and problems with another slot. Given that he had no other questions or interactions with other slots, not having his vote down on the sole slot he was actually focussed on would have been very not-towny.
