The town wakes up bright and early for the next round of grilling each other over a Zoom conference call. Nothing seems different from the previous day until an anonymous report lands on the mayor office. Someone had managed a way to track the virus's spread and determine the number of new infections. Where this information came from or how it was obtained was not known. All this meant was that the town was one step closer to their doom.

The sun rises signaling the start of another day, and the small town of Plague Town is no closer to solving the mystery than they were on the first day. Once more, an anonymous reporter sent the mayor a detailed report about the virus's spread throughout the town. Though relieved that the rate of infection seemed to have slowed, something strange had happened. Two well-respected members of the town, mastina and Blair, were missing from the Zoom conference call. Fearing the worst, the mayor sends the coroner over to investigate. The coroner confirms the mayor's thoughts: both are dead, and despite the coroner's efforts, the reason they died remains a mystery.

Another day dawns. Despite feeling that they are making no progress in unraveling the conspiracy, the town's morale remains high. Another report arrives on the mayor's desk noting that a new infection occurred. The mayor sighs and begins the day's Zoom call.

Day 5 begins!

An anonymous reporter reports that

new infections occurred during the night.

The sun rises once more, and the mayor begins the daily Zoom call. "I've received another report on the virus, and the details are more shocking than one would believe!" exclaims the mayor. "Indeed, it states that not one, but two (!) new infections occurred during the night!" Another person shouts, "If nothing is done, the entire town will be infected!" Eventually everyone calms down, but one thing is for sure: the town is teetering close to the brink of death.

The mayor nervously starts the day's Zoom call fearing that the worst is to come. To his surprise, everything seems pretty much the same as the previous day. Yet something does not feel right... "Where is Alchemist21?" asks one person. "I don't know!" responds another. The mayor decides to send the city's coroner to investigate. The coroner relays the news: Alchemist21 was found dead in his bed with the cause of death unknown.

Later that morning, the mayor receives a message. It's the reporter reporting the number of new infections that occurred. "Just one today? Maybe we will survive this yet."

Total infected: 1+0+1+2+1 = 5

So there are 2 infects unaccounted for. If anyone else has been infected and cured, now is the time to claim it.

Things are both better and worse than they seem.
On the worse side, infected must attempt to infect others. That possibility was confirmed the night there were two new infections.
On the better side, the reason I know this is that I was infected and now I’m recovered, therefore the possibility of recovery is confirmed.
It’s possible we may have only the one new infection and no previous ones. Not gonna bet that way but it’s not as gloomy as it could be.
We still must execute scum. Getting really tired of obvious town flips, and still annoyed at the bad town flips.
Assuming infected would flip as such, mafia are out of non infected kills.
