Introduction:

This is Pikmin Mafia, a game where various types of Pikmin fight to survive against the various enemies that want them dead. Each pikmin has a special ability based on the videogame series, whether active or passive.

Rules:

Days will last as long as needed, but if discussion becomes slim then I may impose a deadline.
If you do not have the necessary amount of votes required to lynch somebody at deadline, no lynch will occur and the game will go directly to Night Phase.

Each 'Night Phase' will last around 3 Real-Time days. Extensions by request. If you fail to turn in a choice for that night then you forfeit it.
Votes must be in bold. (E.G.
Vote: Mikeburnfire
) If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.
Once a player has reached the necessary majority to lynch, the day is over. Unvoting them will not save their life, even if you unvote them in the same post.
Forfeiting a lynch is allowed; it requires the same votes as a lynch. Day will end and night will begin.
The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.
Once you're dead, you're dead. A 'bah' post is acceptable, though.
Quoting Role PMs from me is not recommended.
I won't kill you for it, though.

If you're going to be gone for a lengthy amount of time, let everyone know in this thread please.
If you think I've made a mistake, PM me and sort it out.

Game start:

We will begin with Night 0, which will be confirmation phase it will also be a "No-death", or "Cop-Headstart" night, in which night communicating roles may organize.
Afterwards, it will be Day 1 and the hunt to destroy the scum will be on.

Sample PMs:

XXX, You are a Red Pikmin. You are immune to fire. You have no nightchoice. "Lynch" enemies during the day. You win when only pikmin live.
XXX, You are a Blue Pikmin. You are immune to water. You have no nightchoice. "Lynch" enemies during the day. You win when only pikmin live.

As Olimar and Louie blasted off in their spaceship and headed back to their home planet of Hocotate, all the pikmin that had journeyed with them stood there. There were only a few that had survived the scarring battles and grueling tasks, and now they were abandoned after serving so faithfully. In order to survive against the harsh environment, they needed to band together and take out their enemies. Unfortunately, Pikmin are pretty stupid. They know that enemies are nearby, but cannot tell friend from foe. Looks like they need to go by instinct and hope for the best.

Day 1 begins now.

With 20 people alive, 10 votes are needed to reach a majority. However, since Pikmin are so stupid, it only takes 8 votes to lynch a person today.

Two more deaths have occurred during the night. Farside's electrically zapped body is seen before it quickly disappears, while FlameAxe seems to have been wiped off the map entirely.

In a vacant area of the forest, a small ship lands to the earth. The cockpit opens up and out pops a small man in a yellow suit. They say that when an entire armada of Pikmin are lost, they may leave traces of themselves behind to ensure that they do not go extinct for long. Okay, the roles are:

(5) You are a Red Pikmin. You are immune to fire. You have no nightchoice. Lynch enemies during the day. You win when only pikmin are alive.

(3) You are a Blue Pikmin. You are immune to water hazards and attacks. You have no nightchoice. "Lynch" enemies during the day. You win when only pikmin live.

(2) You are a Yellow Pikmin. You are immune to electricity. You have no nightchoice. "Lynch" enemies during the day. You win when only pikmin live.

(1) You are a Yellow Pikmin with a Bombrock. You are immune to electricity. You have a one-shot vigkill to use at night if you choose. "Lynch" enemies during the day. You win when only pikmin live.

(2) You are a White Pikmin. You are immune to poison. "Lynch" enemies during the day. You win when only pikmin live.

(1) You are a Purple Pikmin. You are immune to wind. You may target somebody to attack during the night. If you target an enemy, they will be stunned and unable to perform their night action. "Lynch" your enemies during the day.

(1) You are a Bulbmin. You are immune to fire, water, poison, and electricity. Despite all this, you still have no nightchoice. "Lynch" enemies during the day. You win when only pikmin live.

Caustic Dweevil, Fiery Dweevil, Anode Dweevil.
You three are trying to destroy the Pikmin populace. During the night one of you may target one player of your choice. The caustic Dweevil kills by water. The fiery dweevil kills by fire. The anode dweevil kills with electricity. You win when all pikmin are dead.

Red Bulborb, Puffy Blowhog
You two are trying to destory the Pikmin populace. During the night one of you may target a player of your choice. That pikmin will be eaten or blown off the edge of the map, depending on who is performing the kill. You win when there are no more pikmin left.

Rules:
Scumgroups cannot kill each other.
Dweevils cannot kill Bulbmin.
Caustic Dweevil cannot kill Blue Pikmin
Fiery Dweevil cannot kill Red Pikmin
Anode Dweevil cannot kill Yellow Pikmin
Bulborb can eat Bulbmin.
Bulborb dies if he eats white pikmin (White Pikmin dies as well).
Blowhog cannot kill Purple Pikmin.
Nobody dies from killing pikmin with a bombrock
Purple cannot stun pikmin with a bombrock
If Yellow w/Bomb dies before using bomb, a random yellow will pick up the bomb the next night (but cannot use it for one more night)

Night 1:
Anode Dweevil targets farside (blue pikmin, success)
Blowhog targets flameaxe (red pikmin, success)

N2:
Anode Dweevil targets claus (bulbmin, fail)
Bulborb targets hasdgfas (yellow pikmin, success)
Yellow Pikmin bombs JDodge (yellow pikmin, success)

N3:
Fiery Dweevil targets claus (bulbmin, fail)
Bulborb targets pyrodwarf/jdodge* (red pikmin, success)

N4:
Fiery Dweevil targets Gorrad (yellow pikmin, success)
Bulborb targets Gorrad (yellow pikmin, success)

N5:
Caustic Dweevil targets The Fonz (red pikmin, success)
Bulborb targets Claus (bulbmin, success)

N6:
Bulborb targets Fiery Dweevil (fail)
Fiery Dweevil targets Bulborb (fail)

My opinion:
This game was fun to watch, but the town couldn't stop sabotaging itself. They lynched the only power "role" they had, a mafiablocker, the first day. Then, they had the one-shot vig ability target a townie the second day. To their credit, they killed two mafia members in a row, but sadly left the bulborb alive, who made the most kills in the game. They also lynched one of the two white pikmin, who were, yes, bombs to the bulborb. When the town decided to color-claim, they gave away any chance of using their immunities to sabotage the mafia. And when they found out that there were a lot of red pikmin, they assumed that the colors were evenly balanced, which they weren't. Outguessing the moderator cost them dearly, as they killed every red pikmin until they got to the one that was actually scum.

The scum, on the other hand, got lucky. Sure they lost two early, but all their kills were only nullified twice, both times by Claus. And they never targeted each other until the very end when they had all but won.

All in all, good game. I hope you enjoyed it, especially the motivated players who replaced back in (including Gorrad who is both a winner and a loser).

And yet, even with that role's ability being used twice, the town still lost.

You mean trying to have multiple lynches per day? No, that would not have been allowed.

Agree. Jdodge and Gorrad were definitely killed for a good reason the first time around.

I understand what you mean, but it's also difficult to find good players to replace into a large theme game. Next time I'll look around for other players instead of quickly replacing back in dead ones.
