ok. i think that new scum that are having a bit of a rough time among an experienced playerlist (like shiqf is in this game) try to keep as neutral as possible. Town feel like they need to contribute and give reads but bc they arent confident on wallposting/cases yet overcompensate in their readslist with arbitrarily assigned reads. i know i used to do the same before i started to know more players on the site and got more confident.
He figured out the scum team pretty quickly in that game.

To me so far it seems to be missing any "bite". Dunnstral in PYP was sharp as a knife. Maybe slightly less day1 (which im afriad might the case here as well) - but I can definately see why people are so onto this slot.

As for the topic of bella, She's the biggest blank of anyone in this game.

Let's talk about Heartless.

Heartless is convinced that, regardless of Vecna's alignment, the people who jumped to ThinkBig's defence must be scum.

That is, he thinks that someone of Eddie, Transcend and Dunn is scum, and that it's likely to be Dunn. No problems up to this point, right, Heartless?

Let's case. So, first up, I seem to recall me attempting to defend TB too and I did a pretty shit job of it. Why am I not the vote? How has my interaction been missed? Probably overshadowed by the fact that me and Titus started slugging it out soon after that, but, nonetheless, I was there and have been missed.

Heartless has been able to specifically avoid having an opinion on the Vecna slot post-replacement through this without looking suspicious at all. Conflicted opinions? I'd think hydra dissonance was possible but we've not seen any of that. So no, it's not that. They likely agree on not giving an opinion.

So what does that leave? I have no idea what the first point could mean, but it might mean the posts in context were skimmed over a bit, or maybe I didn't actually defend ThinkBig at all and I'm imagining that I did. The second point is the foundation of my case. Heartless is setting up a case to lynch Dunnstral in day 2 if we lynch Vecna, and I think the case works regardless of whether or not Vecna is town or scum.

very few scum players can pull off being as active as frogger, ali and giga have been and the way youve been talking, its like you think theres at least two scum in there.
if you want me to take what youre saying seriously and/or if you seriously want to drive pressure on them, you should be condensing strong points to make it clear why you think theyre scum just beyond "dunnstral and i are mislynches".
by probability, town mislynches a lot on d1. running up two townies on d1 isnt unusual, yes?

Its very hard to make these things tangible and understandable since theres a lot of gut involved. But ill try and give it a shot.

3 wagons: the first being Giga, and the following 2 both heavily influenced by Giga.

A certain group of players is not at all afraid to just go out in the open and say ridiculous stuff, and just vote without reasons, without clarification, without shame, and jump around a lot. This to me indicates its quite likely that there is indeed a very strong group of scum-players in this game, and they all have the same similair attitude here: WERE GONNA ROLL OVER THIS GAME.

The scumteam here is putting in a lot of good performances, and they know it - and theyre trying to drive the gamestate and lining up mislynches. This doesnt quite make sense with every scenario and all people potentially being scum - but this is my assessment of how things are standing at the moment.

Theres also 0+ scum in the group of Random / McMenno / Aelita and some of the other low-inpact players (yes I know this is a stupid statement by itself). whoever they are, theyre feeling strengthened by the play of their scumpartners and are even less afraid to play the way they feel like. I think I can clearly sense it in the atmosphere in this game, cant you?

The other lines of thought here is who the leading wagons have been: Giga, Vecna, Dunnstral. All these are players that can solve a game, and have done it lots of times before. Lynching a player like this day1 and having a townflip puts scum miles and miles ahead. If im right, scum only need to kill of 4-5 key people, and theyll cruise to victory totally unopposed, leaving behind the players that get easily demoralized. This is the strategy that is being persued here.

Now I know, all this is wildly speculative - mostly based on gut - but this is my assesment of whats happening here.

shiqf was getting lynched there practically guaranteed. the reasons i wanted to give him time was he had been V/LA didnt get a chance to defend his reads which would be useful to us regardless of his alignment, and he was a newbie. it is common courtesy not to lynch someone while they are V/LA, and when they have several hundred pages to read up they should be considered V/LA until they are caught up.
