I didn't expect my identity to be very difficult for people who knew me well, and I've talked with some of my Skype friends about it.

StrangerCoug, what did you decide to pick as your college major and why?

I decided that my passion was in computer science. I like knowing how computers work, and writing computer programs can be a fun thing to do.

The first time was when I was little and trying to learn how to ride a bicycle. The balance was something I never got right, and I ended up falling over and messing it up pretty bad. Was scared of bicycles ever since.
As for the second time around, I was bullied a lot in middle school, and I got into a lot of fights around then as well. Someone pushed me out of my seat during lunch one day, and my knee hit the table leg pretty hard.

Well... The format was pretty much the same throughout (this being the Scripps National Spelling Bee I tried out for). Never made it past even the school level. Those were some hard words at the end!

what prompted you to cheat on the math test?

Didn't happen to know the answer to that one and I thought I could get away with looking it up in a multiplication table. Other students noticed, and I got a zero, which itself was a disqualifier from the honor roll as per the teacher's rules. Never did it again after that

It was my fourth grade class. It was to one of my classmates' birthday party, and I got into a fight with him a couple days before (I don't remember about what) and got suspended. The invitations went out while I was suspended and he didn't bother with giving me one when I came back to class from the suspension since he decided we weren't friends anymore. I really only found out about the party in passing after it happened when people were talking about it before class. That my friends went to a party I was told absolutely nothing about made me feel very hurt, and I wasn't on speaking terms with him ever again.

She's my sister's kid (which she had at the young age of 18!) and was born a couple of months premature. How hard it was to help watch her combined with the fact that I had a hard enough time as it was dealing with kids that were my age then kinda gave me a dislike of kids generally, really. In four months she'll turn 18, and I believe she's still interested in doing police work.

StrangeCougar, also tell me about your escapades regarding the delayed flight please!

It was the plane coming home to El Paso from an AcaDec trip in Houston. The plane that was supposed to land in Houston apparently crashed, so after our team goofed around a bit telling jokes to each other, as far away as El Paso and Houston are from each other, the coach made arrangements for us to stay one more night while he tried to figure out what to do about getting everybody back home. (I don't know how; I never asked him now. I didn't consider it my business.) That was a stressful time, really.

I was the one who was thinking about learning woodworking to make clocks, actually. There was a chiming wall clock I liked that my mother found on Amazon. Unfortunately, it's out of production and a difficult find. I thought I'd be able to translate my computer building skills into clockmaking skills. Unfortunately, the high upfront cost of getting woodworking tools plus the fact that wanting to make a clock like that was overly ambitious of me (even taking into account it would likely not have been the first thing I made out of wood anyway) killed my interest in learning it.
