Season 2 was also hit or miss (2-3 really good episodes, several kinda meh) but I remember really enjoying the vibe of season 1

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Rick's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick's existential catchphrase "Wubba Lubba Dub Dub," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon's genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

Mastina, I don't really put a lot of stock into my reads but I have {5uffering, Gamma} as my top two scumreads at the moment.

I have an idea about who 5uffering is, and the way in which he's playing here doesn't square with how I've experienced town!him playing. His stances just feel weak, and look like a mimic of how he plays as town.

Gamma's pop-in at the BM wagon (something along the lines of "why were people saying he was hammered") without posting anything else feels very scummy. As I recall, he has a slight tendency to address posts in catchup walls as opposed to direct engagement. Please do have a look at these two ISOs.

Weird pop-in: showed he was keeping up but not particularly interested in posting immediate thoughts [which I find scum indicative for him]
And if he believed it when I said BM was lolhammered, he casually skims across it, but wayyy later in 2072 he begins to rage about quickhammers?
Also didn't like his approach to my scumread on him, immediately discrediting my read rate on him.

Italiano was a pure gut read from many posts ago which is stale, hence just above null. Same goes for Toog -> I think his excessive appeasement to Nancy is actually towny, and I believe I'm sheeping a little of Pyro's read here, but yeah just above null. Neither of them are top-line town.

As to my read of you, actually on re-assessment I think you go into the barely-leantown tier. Your read on me won't factor in to my read on you unless it's really whack, and I think I'm perfectly placed in your list ^.^

Serious thought: Shmlancy we need to get wagons going on someone, to see if people actually commit to voting who they scumread.

Without that, scum can take any position they like and it won't affect the game at all. That makes it much more difficult to spot them.

In terms of lying about following through with the deal, that's bad form - it discourages any future dealmaking (and deals are great because each side does gain some benefit in some way) so it's game theoretically bad to lie about that.

Nancy, you skew the thread. No one wants to get on an elimination you don't approve of. When you approve of a read, people jump on if not scumreading the person because it's a possible scum elimination they can get. The very phenomenon with static wagons and sudden motion to agree with you says nothing at all.

Either BM or Saudade are viable wagons. Saudade flip might be better for town regardless.

But yeah, I think Saudade, W & P and Clidd are the optimal vig targets here for today. No one else really is particularly pinging me. Assuming we lim BM but I’m down for any of BM, Saudade, W & P today. If BM is town, then I never want to vote out Clidd.

I did, but I felt you were okay with it, so I wasn't too concerned about it going through - in fact I think it's good that to some extent it was pushed by a non-Shmlancy set of people, as it's more organic. I feel that using this to discourage organic lim range wagons is bad.
