The game isn't going anyway and that looks to me like a ploy by someone. Nobody could change their vote without look scummy (thank you shos for illustrating that) and the game would be stagnant so I 1. Decided to take one for the team 2. See you want in the centre of the stagnant-causing (you) and voted you.

How so? How does the game stalling before it starts help scum?

The less time town spends in fruitful hunting the better chance the scum have of winning. I would also point to motivational effects.

You later say that City's irrelevancy was the most recent, but shos posted right after City essentially saying nothing. So I don't buy that. You specifically wanted to vote City while not voting others. What makes this especially scummy, is that you had simple explanations at your disposal: To put City at L-1 to see reactions, pressure, etc. But you unnecessarily over-explain it with a not so rational response. Now you're not really posting anything relevant yourself.

1. Are you actually trying to pretend that City "multiposts that don't advance the game" Electric didn't create the atmosphere and Commie "jumped on the wagon with one post" X did? Really?

Re: the rest,
1. What sudden vote by shos?
2. When did I suggest it was scummy?

Shos:
Assume the game is two Mafia and a Cop and four townies (a favourable assumption to your view.)
Scum quicklynch
1/5 hit Cop, scumlynch then we have 1/3 = 1/15 = 4/60
4/5 hit townie, 1/4 hit Cop in the night, scumlynch then we have 1/3 = 1/15 = 4/60
4/5 hit townie, 3/4 hit townie, 1/4 Cop hit scum = 3/20 = 9/60
4/5 hit townie, 3/4 hit townie, 1/2 Cop hit non-killed town, if Cop comes out then 1/2 = 3/20 = 9/60
4/5 hit townie, 3/4 hit townie, 1/4 Cop hit scum target, scumlynch, 1/3 scum hit Cop, 1/3 we win, 1/60
4/5 hit townie, 3/4 hit townie, 1/4 Cop hit scum target, scumlynch, 2/3 scum hit townie, 1/2 we win, 1/60

=28/60 (7/15) EV and that's
ignoring
the named townie. Scum wouldn't quicklynch and if they did we should thank them.

To your latest post, Radelle voted me giving the reason that CE didn't mess around and Commie was the reicarnation of Loki (that's the gist at any rate). This is a belief thast no player could agree with, I contend. Unless someone givers a "yes" to 53 then it is fair to say Radelle is lying and Lynch All Liars.

Also, unless you were talking to someopne else, did I even mention you in my last post?

Raquelle suggested that CE was innocent from messing up the gamestate and that CX was the one that did it, then used that as justification to vote me. I think this is an untenantable position. Either it was an outright lie, or needing to find an excuse to vote me, just made something not caring about its truth value enough to check.

about your math - your odds are all good andd fine, but you didn't say what they mean. and I have no will to try and see. if I were scum and had the choice of rolling a die for gamewin with 54% to win, why not?
now what the hell are you talking about with 'named townie'?

With a Mafia/Wolves then the Seer/Cop is a named townie.

what do you think of these two quotes both by Radelle:
" the two people (Mhork and Commie) who were most actively stagnating"
"You single out City and Mhork while completely ignoring Commie's involvement (however little). "

If that's not stealth backtracking (changing his position whilest refusing to admit false) what other thing is it?

My point being, why are you insisting on only defending me, rather than Mhork when we were mentioned in the same breath?

1. Answer my question.
2. I'm not defending you. I'm calling Radelle scum for lying.
3. Because Radelle wasn't lying when he said that Mhork also spammed the thread. A thought I agreed with before Radelle even mentioned it.

Where's "tick tock" coming from. You haven't asked me anything that wasn't of the "when did you stop beating your wife" variety; rhetorical questions are one thing, pretending to get prissy when they don't get answered is quite another.

The fact is your questions are a based on a bunch of baloney; I haven't been defensive of Commie let alone overdefensive, I was pointing out that you lied. You try to say that I "Implied shos' change in vote looked scummy" but in order to do that you have to cut out half of a sentence; as you know the "change their vote" was a reference to my voting City and shos voting me for it.

The idea that shos' vote on me that occured just after putting a player on L-1 on Page One could be considered sudden is risible.

The idea that I should base my suspicion on Page 1, a page that I said was stagnant, is farce. The idea that I'm scum for not doing so is scum just messing about.

You ask a huge number of questions, all mixed up in prose, all of them rhetorical and all with with no basis in fact, and then try to pretend I'm ducking out by doing the polite thing and ignoring it.

I will not fakeclaim Cop/Seer as VT.

If you find Radelle scummy why not vote Radelle?

The Batt wagon came from his list of mystery.

Out of Sala and shos, Sala is by far the scummiest. I'll endorse a hammer when conversation stalls.

Wait...

What?

Empking, I know I accidently mislynched you back in New York, but come on, that was so long ago.

All AtE aside, I'm town. Come lynch shos.

shos is my strongest, only town read. Actually, just remembered that you replaced CE; shos is my strongest townread and you're my second (surfing on CE's good karma) which is really annoying. Are you sure you can't vote Radelle?

Er. No, I was not online after I stopped posting. If anyone cares to check the "View My posts", you can see that unless I'm a Golem that needs no sleep, I was clearly not just lurking in the background hoping for a Commie lynch.

I'm guessing with that quick vote after 2birds, it's a shos-Batt team? I dislike being wrong about my original shos read though.

I actually think more LyLos should be quick lynches. Ideally, decide on who's hammering, popcorn claim if applicable, post meta if requested, then quicklynch. Non-LyLo days are for scumhunting.

You realise that that was a pretty clear desperate gambit to stay alive, right? (I'm not trying to get townie points for that; I'd have still killed him if I, myself, was scum, but it seemed pretty clear that at the time of his last posts I was a town read.)

But I'm town, good try there Mhork. Decided to hammer before town gets duped. I'm really leaning hard on Emp-scum still.

Of course, ignore all that if Mhork flips werewolf as that would mean Emp is confirmed town and scum is 2bird.

I'm not getting this, what is a gambit here? he would be conftown the moment mhork flips, so obviously he would die, I don't see a gambit to stay alive here - I see a dying person giving reads :|

He was conftown and that's why you killed him. He was hoping that if he went all out on me that you'd keep him alive, wrongly, thinking he'd vote me.

2birds: To make it clear to you:

shos thinks that in 295, I was scum trying to defend my buddy, and in 300 I was scum trying to distance from my buddy since he was obviously getting lynched. He's throwing stuff out to see what sticks.

2birds got mhorke lynched. That's the root of his obv-towness. I'll admit I got it wrong on Mhorke.

I'm not sure if a single thing here is close to the truth.

P-edit: Because he voted mhork, compared to you posturing and hoping that I'd vote Batt so you and Mhork could quick hammer.

not if I changed my mind about which of the two I found scummiest. If you had voted Mhok and I followed you then you may as well given up on that day, since going "unvote, wait a minute" would have been obvious.
and what you say also applies to Batt, who is conftown, so you kinda fail

no because Batt (in spirit) was already voting mhork (in spirit). He had committed to a Mhorke lynch.

Look, I'll tell you what. this is lylo, and it's 1v1 me vs you. I should not be teaching you; you're not supposed to come and tell 2b1s why YOU are voting me. you should be convincing HIM to vote me. so far all you've shown is that 2b1s is townier than me; you haven't shown, not even to a slightly remote extent, why 2b1s should think that I am scum.

in other words - if you don't have any reason to show how I am more likely scum than you, you're wasting your breath and my time.

LyoL cases are worthless for scumhunting. They're just rhetoric tools to get in the way of actual investigation; that's why you made one.

That is exactly town behaviour: Both players, irrespective of alignment, are trying to get the other lynch. Trying to get the other lynch is just the battle of rhetorics.
