7. You may have up to 4 V/LA's total, 3 V/LA's in a 2 game day period, or 2 V/LA's in a one game day period. If any of these are exceeded, I will look for a replacement.

Voting rules:
1. You may vote by typing Vote: Monkeyman576 in bold. Anything close to the correct format will count, but it must be bolded. Misspellings and votes without a colon will count. You do not have to type unvote to unvote, although if you do it helps keep track of things.
2. A player is lynched when the vote count reaches (X/2)+1 votes, where X is the number of players alive. So it there are 13 alive, it wout be 7 to lynch, with 11 alive, it would be 6 to lynch, etc. No lynches are allowed.
3. There will be 6 hours of twilight following each lynch, regardless of when I log in to check the vote count or when the lynch is announced.
4. If any player has a vote count other than 1(i.e. a non voter or double voter), it will be reflected in the vote count.
5. Each player is allowed one "bah!" post after they are lynched, but may not reveal any game related information after the lynch is announced.

Seeking replacement. I just replaced one player today already, and I am enforcing the one post every three days rule, which is all I can do as mod.I have actively replaced 5 players already, so I'm not sure what more you would have me do.

I will say I actually agree with his issue.
Taking a v/la of an entire day phase except for the last day is displeasurable in a player when the point of the game is based off reading interactions.

I'm not disagreeing with you, but replacing players that are not posting without V/LA take precedence over replacing posters that have VLA'd. And AA9 did not tell me she was going to be gone for a week and a half when she agreed to replace, or else I would not have allowed it.

@Mod - incidentally, I am not a big fan of you posting a truncated vote count at lynch as opposed to a full vote count. The full count would be much more useful, and I can't see any reason to cut out the other wagon info from every lynch post since you must still be tracking votes at that stage.

Obviously it is a pretty swingy game, if only because of the number of power roles. I asked in the review thread if I should advertise it as a role madness game, but the reviewers said no.

The scum did a LOT of things to help the town, including lack of participation, poor night kill choices, and some questionable lynch strategies(in my opinion, as well as tree stumping). Given that all these things happened to help town, and the game was still down to the final 5, I don't think there's any fair argument that the game was unbalanced. Swingy and unbalanced are two different things.

Scum had day chat, motivator, a doctor, a tracker and a roleblocker. That's a lot of power right there.

Also I knowingly made town slightly more powerful, because scum have had easy times winning in previous games of mine due mostly to lurking strategies, so sometimes you have to adjust your games to site meta.

But I think the surplus of power roles lead to more discussion and more interesting action and speculation, so I don't regret it at all. I admit I had never seen the Oracle actually used in a game before, so I really didn't anticipate how much of an effect it would have. I would probably restrict it's use more if I ever included it in a future game.

Personally I'd rather have a game with lots of roles(and town negative utitly roles) than a game with just mostly vanilla townies. It's just a more fun version of mafia as far as I'm concerned.

But I hope everyone enjoyed the game, and I appriciate everyone's effort for those that did participate. The number of replacements did make it a frustrating effort, and I will be more picky about who I allow into future games.

One issue that did come up was RIP's force replacement. I replaced him because he literally said exactly what his mod pm said. I got a note from site admin saying that I shouldn't have replaced him because what he said could have been easily scum faked. To me the point of the rule is that you want to be able to trust players that they aren't going to do something that could break the game in a critical situation by doing something like quoting a mod communication that could be viewed as conftown evidence. So I stand by my ruling, even though the admin disagreed. Of course, as a game moderator, I will be taking that into consideration in the future, but I disagree with the "site policy there".

Also I knowingly made town slightly more powerful, because scum have had easy times winning in previous games of mine due mostly to lurking strategies, so sometimes you have to adjust your games to site meta.

is a pretty horrible reason. Its towns job to off the lurkers/non scumhunters and make themselves look town. Not your job to give the town more power 'cause they can't do thier job.


Our kills could have been a little better I suppose, especially night 2 but I think they all made sense save for 1 and 2. Also not counting Thor b/c I didn't really care at that point.

Well, you're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree. If you mod on a site that massclaims on turn one every game, then you put in elements to discourage massclaiming. Likewise, if a site lurks a lot, you put things in the game to discourage lurking. I get as scum that you're not happy with it, but really you should be a lot more angry at your teammates than at me.
