DGB was the second person to reach that conclusion, after one of the least-influential slots in the game. She also didn't try to justify it with awkwardly weak reasoning.

Huh. I thought you were in MitLoF for some reason. I guess my first game on the site under this account is the only one that I can think of then.

Either way, I won't bother explaining why the way I handled the Katsuki wagon makes no sense for me as scum. Most people who have a significant amount of experience playing with me would be able to tell you why.

well seeing as no one else has stepped forward to tell me why, why don't you do so in their stead? why does it make no sense?
When I bus, I specifically do so to damage control so that them being lynched doesn't compromise the scumteam as a whole.

Hesitantly joining a wagon on a scumpartner without giving any reasoning and never mentioning it again afterwards doesn't fit that agenda at all.

oh yeah? it went stale between the very end of yesterday and the start of today?

who are these "other reads" and for what reasons? just UT?
Well, yeah. My suspicion on Froot Loop is on day one stuff. Nothing happened in day two and we ended up with a scum lynch, so resetting to get a better bearing on the gamestate now that more significant info is on the table is more reasonable than just sheeping myself from two game phases ago.

The "other things have happened since then that give me stronger reads" is from the wagon that's sprung up on me and people's reactions to it. UT's is scummy as shit as I already stated. I'm okay with CKD's reactions to it. DGB is probably town. You're gutreading scum, but that's mostly because generally I can see you as town whenever we play in the same game and I haven't gotten that same feeling yet.

From what I can tell, he's saying that I put out my scumreads, then try to create the reasons after I get asked. That's literally what I do as town and what I try to emulate as scum.

How is what I'm doing a 180? I never once said that Froot Loop was a townread.

In post 1130, curiouskarmadog wrote:sell me on Ank being scum in regards to his voting of Kat yesterday (ie when he did it)
i'll give you my interpretation of what happened when he voted cupcake; i don't expect it to sell anyone, but it is how i am reading it - most of my dislike of his approach to the cupcake vote has to do with the language he used tbh

the first point is that stands out as a weak way to address the iraon v me situation; it's not a stance, there's no substance, it's just nothing. to me, this reads like scum who wants to look like they're giving an opinion on an event but without having to actually take a hard side one way or the other on the matter. i suppose you could interpret this as him town-reading iraon and scum-reading me if you squint, but that's not really what he's saying (and if it were what he was saying, i would have expected him to have some sort of hard opinion on me today, given my light resistance to the cupcake wagon yesterday - instead, we have nothing. in fact, the opposite; he's disappointed that i'm reading him incorrectly, which suggests a town read, i think?)

most of the reason i dislike 788/789 comes down to how he phrased these posts

i think 788 is him deciding whether he actually wants to bus. is it possible that town looked at the wagons happening and thought cupcake was the best wagon of them? sure. do i think town would have expressed it like he did in 788? no. the phrasing here (both "out of everyone" and "i guess") is most of the reason why i dislike this post, though it's not so easy to describe the nuances here and why i think it's more likely to come from scum than town outside of the fact that i think town are more likely to use firmer language (e.g. "if froot loop doesn't happen, i'd vote cupcake" or something like that)

then we have 789. i don't really like anything in this post. the way it's phrased and the content of the post just reads like scum who's decided they saw where the tides were turning (or at the very least, wanted to be on the good side of things if the tides did turn that way and if they didn't then oh well, he probably thought he'd created a decent negative interaction) and wanted to maximise how good they looked from it. again, could a town player think what he thinks in this post? certainly. but again, i don't think it would have been phrased in this way. i mean, in the first place, what does the iraon wagon have to do with it? why bring it up? if he thinks cupcake is scum, the iraon wagon shouldn't have much to do with it (unless he specifically took issue with cupcake's iraon vote, but that's not what he's saying here). which leads me back to the conclusion that it was done to maximise town credit (this makes the most sense if iraon is actually town, though. it's not an impossible move if iraon is scum for a number of reasons, but it makes more sense if he's town)

i realise this isn't some rock-solid case or anything; it is what it is, and what it is is just how i read these posts. in combination with a lot of other things i haven't liked about his play both prior to today and today, it's enough that i'm fine with his lynch
That's a wrap, boys. UT + zMuffinMan is the scumteam.

I would expect you to be able to read me better than this since you've never had any trouble with it before now. Getting really simple things wrong is a huge red flag coming from you.

My reasons for suspecting UT are the way he handled his suspicion of me today.

You should have an idea of my stance on extended 1v1s from that game.

I also had seen iraonavp be more than willing to get into an extended 1v1 as town. It had gone on for several pages mainly because he was getting fed responses. The only reason it stopped is because iraon got lynched.

I'll go look. I know of at least two other games (albeit old) that we were both in the same game of, and you read me correctly early and consistently in both games. I'll drop it if it turns out there aren't any more.

Untrod Tripod is scum. SirCakez could be scum. Maestro could be scum. zMuffinman could be scum. This is roughly in read-strength order.

I'm thinking PeregrineV is town now. DGB is town. CKD is probably town. Iraonavp is leaning town. Froot Loop is leaning town by virtue of how I'm seeing the gamestate presently.

I literally can't remember a single thing Vedith or Kraska have done all game.

In post 1297, zMuffinMan wrote:well (a) there is a froot loop wagon (albeit small) and enough people have expressed interest in it that it's certainly viable, and (b) ankamius's statements are dumb because it's incredibly likely (just due to numbers) that every wagon in this game is going to be town-driven, because even if scum is on them, they don't really need to strongly push anything unless they're in danger themselves so still probably town-driven (unless by "town-driven" he means "all town", but that's not what driven actually means)

and even if he means "all town" by "town-driven", that's still a dumb assumption

e.g. let's take a look at the nightingale game and some of the wagons that happened there when scum was one man down... from day two alone:

Salamence20 [7] - TellTaleHeart, lalaladucks, Oversoul, Katsuki, grapes, Muffin(x2)
^ all town

Katsuki [7] - farside22, Salamence20(x2), Muffin(x2), Kagami, Nachomamma8
^ all town on an innocent child

Salamence20 [8] - TellTaleHeart, Oversoul, Katsuki, grapes, Nachomamma8, lalaladucks, Mac, Brian Skies [LYNCH]
^ still all town even with the town double-voter not on the wagon

that's not always going to be the case, obviously, but people who can't do wagon analysis need to stop pretending they know what they're talking about. it's probably 10:2 atm so most wagons that pop up are going to be overwhelmingly town-driven, if not entirely so. this is more the case if maestro is actually town since he makes up 2/7 of every wagon he's on. "oh, there's got to be scum here, it doesn't make sense otherwise" - give a good reason why it has to be the case or fuck off and come back when you know how to play the game

also i smiled at the "third lazy lynch in a row" comment, given what he's been doing with his vote this game and the flip yesterday
btw

Where did you get the idea that I analyzed the wagon?

And before someone decides to throw bullshit at me, my reasoning is entirely because Muffin has yet to give any indication to me that he's town this game and I'm really suspicious that he's scum with Maestro (which is the only way I can see him as scum now). I suspect that if they are in fact a scumteam, the bodyguard on Muffin will be directly killed as an excuse to try to indicate his innocence.

TNE and Maestro really threw me off with how they played their role before Maestro claimed; if either had paid more attention to Katsuki before the lynch had gone through, I most likely would have gotten to the same page as everyone else. The fact that Maestro/TNE's play looked contradictory to what Maestro claimed as well as the way Muffin was trying to direct things around it made me really leery about them being a scumteam.

I generally like being wagoned as town when I'm not very involved in the game since it's generally a really easy way to get reads. The only thing I was actually upset about until the very end of the day was that the wagon wasn't disappearing.
