Kasu is probably town.

Skimmed the 5 games he has on the site - they all involve lots of highly emotionally charged play and advocating for lynching lurkers etc so this fits his town-meta.

Obviously since he hasn't rolled scum on the site yet I don't have his scum meta but the level of anger/profanity here matches with his level of indignation in the other 5 town-games he has completed on-site - the 0-100 OMGUS angry wall post feels pretty townie and genuine to me - I'd think he'd be a little more cunning as scum?


Shea's progressions are very good - I follow along with them pretty well and I like how open and transparent he is being.

I have been trying a more logical solve based approach to the game rather than a pressuring attack based approach because I find people are easier to read when they do not feel attacked.

It really depends on the pace and setting of each individual game - like if a game is pretty slow I'll do the attacking and pressuring myself but when there are fairly good interactions already flying around I find it more helpful to think about things and ask questions rather than add to the chaos.

Shea is my top town-read atm because I like his progressions throughout the game - his transparency so far makes it very easily to follow along with his thoughts - I liked that he picked a fight with Kasu and re-evaluated after re-thinking his read after looking at different viewpoint - this looks better considering Kasu gained steam and it would've been just as easy to ignore the evidence - its very easy at this stage of the game with this Plist to push a ML on LHF-Kasu town just looking at his meta ->

I don't think I play weird. I just play differently. I can switch to the regular attacking playstyle if you guys want but I like trying new things out and if this is an actual common complaint among the game I am happy to go back to attack bear mode.

I've had many postgame feedback tell me that I'm too "dominant" in games and I tend to drown out everyone else's voice so I have been more restrained in general.

For some players that would lead to a town read (if I thought they were unaware of how they were coming off, Noraa may fall into this category). It's a persuasion technique known as reality shift - when you make something the basis for a theory multiple times, you make it more likely in the observer's eyes.

Like part of what gives me pause about murdercat is literally exactly that, in the games I've seen him as town he's been very aggressive in trying to push through a lynch when he thought a player was scum, here he's just kind of taking pot shots and hoping people get the message.

Ok so just from a game state perspective I think it is probably better to flip town MC than town Pooky. Obviously it’s better to flip scum Pooky than town MC, but that is why I haven’t hard pushed Pooky, I’m not confident enough right now to do that. So this actually isn’t really an attempt to get anyone to vote there unless you independently value anything in here. I’ve also approached this from the perspective that Pooky is scum, so this is all biased in that direction. That is not an accurate assessment of my read on Pooky, I think he somewhere between probably to maybe scum.

This game state is not something I’ve often seen – usually when there is a clear 1v1 between two wagons on D1 and it ends with a green-flip, the runner up on D2 gets put on the hot-seat. Instead there’s been a distinct lack of pressure my way for some reason.

I think there are a few possible explanations for this.

a) Scum are scared of getting yeeted like MC was – they decide to look for easier targets.
b) Scum want to save me for later as my credibility is more damaged after misyeeting on D1 and I can be an easier push later.
c) My reads are completely off-base and I need to re-evaluate everything.

There is a good chance it is a combination of all three factors so I am going to flush everything and re-orient my reads.

These things are weird to me:

Blitzo/Kasu have moved on to greener pastures – they were voting for me to be elim’d yesterday – if anything MC flipping green should’ve made them more convinced the flipping Pooky is good. Instead they come out swinging for other people. I like Kasu better than Blitzo because Kasu at least sounds like he’s interested in what I have to say in 1750 whereas I’ve somehow completely dropped off Blitzo’s radar and he’s now onto PanzerJager? This is a strange progression.

Blitzo’s EOD spat with Gamma Emerald also seems to have randomly disappeared – like why ? I don’t really get it.

Kasu also agrees on the next page so now it looks like the game has shifted and you can see how fast the wheels are spinning in blitzo’s head at this point…

Now blitzo re-orients away and shades Noraa/Bulge in 1830 completing his disengagement from UG..

Later he begins asking other people such as Noraa and Gamma in 1858 and 1831 about Gamma – following up on UG’s case for UG – which is curious because looking at Blitzo’s ISO he never really pushes gamma or puts out his own opinion on gamma so it feels like he’s testing the warmth of the water before dipping his toes in.

I’m have a bunch of other re-reading to do but that’s so far my thoughts on Blitzo. I need to re-read Gamma, and Duppin. I tried re-reading Noraa but it’s kind of difficult because she has a lot of posts and I’m unable to follow her line of thought at many times.

Also I have a big problem with Blitzo saying he agreed with what UG was pushing. UG was pushing me for my interactions with Blitzo at least on some level. So if Blitzo agreed with that, I should have seen some indication he thought my interactions with him were suspicious but nothing told me that sort of thing. In fact, it seemed he felt like I was Town by some of his we interacted. And the fact it took this long to bring it up makes it seem like an afterthought more than a genuine concern.
