I liked most of the Mastina stuff so far, but the big overexplainy post on her townreading me and Auro felt like something a scum player could recycle every game and apply to literally any player with a few bits and pieces changed.

She posts things which in the moment look plausibly good as passable opinions, but which when looked at in hindsight, don't actually have any true backing to them.

The only good a town-ETL would've done this game is having those aforementioned townreads on her. If she is scum, this is good play; if she is town, then there's no real good play to be seen in that approach.

So, really, depends on your alignment here. If you're scum, your play here is excellent as you're doing exactly what you should be doing as scum especially in a game of this nature. If you're town, your play is objectively not good with the one good spot being the ability to have garnered some townreads on your slot, the same thing which is better for scum here than town.

Some scumreads are connected to other scumreads, some are independent and must be so or you fall into the trap of pre-flip associating and conf biasing. I absolutely believe mastina is scum. I also believe she probably won’t bus her partners unless necessary. I think hoctac is scum, but less than mastina. I recognize the truth that I could be wrong about any one of my scumreads and probably am, but that doesn’t mean I should only focus on my strongest one and disregard every other scummy thing other people do. One day one I can’t necessarily believe all my scumreads are correct and connected. Auro is scummy independent of mastina. Could they both be scum? I dunno. I haven’t bothered to look into that yet since I don’t have either one of their flips.

This is a great VC. I’m tempted to think Ari is town just because Mastina is on it but looking at this objectively I think he’s probably the scum of the 3 wagons here. I guess quick could be??? Based on the hoppy floppy voting alone but otherwise I don’t think so. I think in his case meta might actually be helpful. I highly doubt 2 of the 3 wagons are scum. I think the low numbers also makes it more possible all 3 are town too but at this point in the day it should be reasonable to assume town have latched onto something meaningful here.

I think this will be my last game on ms. Looks like the quality of the player base has gone way downhill and people don’t play to win anymore, they don’t use their brains, they just meme about and post nonsense and don’t listen to logic and play the ego game.
