Before my "hiatus", I would get super paranoid of people I didn't know well and trust to be able to read me fairly accurately call me town on d1.

That's because I was an emotionally driven, confrontational prick as town and logical/slightly less confrontational (but still aggressive, if that makes sense?) scum.

Since my return, however, I've been striving to make myself easier to find as town and approach others in good faith until/unless they give me grounds to suspect them.

So, even though I have no clue as to your alignment, I'm going to hope that this post is coming from a place of sincerity and thank you for reinforcing the habits I'm beginning to build.

I’m not even sure why you would think this as either alignment.

There's nothing wrong with putting down a vote on one scumspect and stating reads of other players or continuing to hunt in any way.

There is nothing particularly scary in these Danger meters, other than possibly Multitasking late game. The other two can be easily managed by not being careless or inattentive.

Success bonus for raid participants: gains 1-shot for applicable roles

Scum could possibly also have roles that are applicable (I assume this has been talked about).

I don't see any particular reason right away why raids would ever fail.

Before my extended vacation, I was fairly competent scum. The site meta, however, is radically different than when I was here last, and I have yet to be in a game as scum long enough to find a footing for my "informed minority" strategy since my return (my only scum game thus far was one I replaced out of in about a week or so due to the ridiculously high post rate for a mini combined with my work schedule preventing me from being able to keep up).

That’s the entire point. This entire push on Mom feels like a fluke if it’s correct.
Though in a way there was a justified reason for the push on your slot in that game because a reasonable chunk of the game managed to townblock and that led to the pressure falling on someone who didn’t get in on the action. It was like an unholy fusion of the jam session in the original Pine scumstump game and the ongoing meta trend rn of towns just identifying each other early and PoE’ing scum off of that.
