So, we lost TWO Townies, and one joined The State upon their death while the other was assigned to find (and kill) a member of The State. Nothing has been announced which means The State didn't kill McMenno though. Otherwise, Varsoon should've announced it and Vax should've gained a kill!!!

Now why would TFoD actually HELP The State by killing a claimed flavour Cop designed specifically to find the assassin???
My 1st guess is take our numbers down so as to force us to play for our second win con, but I need to think of what that makes of TFoD.

Second question: Where did the other NK go, ir did The State opt not to use it precisely so that Vax doesn't gain a killing ability?

Oh, and also congrats to those who spelt their guts to Furude om D1. Now The State have quite an advantage over us. I suggest everyone declares in public what they claimed to Furude in details (The State already have that info anyway).

I'm AGAIN being suspicious of RR, but I really can't make an organized case. As far as why people should believe our claim: the alternatives are us being hoodmates who strongly townread one another, or being scumbuddies. The state used Ice Man on Mcmenno to neutralize the threat (block) and also killed him for a few possible reasons:

A. Maybe the other team gets the NK the next night.
B. The abilities seem to be one time use, so if they kill him the next night he could still pull of his ability and kill one of them.

It's pretty obvious the State were scared because they used their ability and the NK. I'm interested in looking into who mcmenno was scum reading.

During Night 1, Ice Man froze an entire subway station.
Due to this, McMenno would not have been able use any abilities during Day 2 and Night 2.

I have been working under the assumption that his block was for N1 even tho it works different for me. I guess it works the same exact way. This furthers the bizzare-ness of the block and kill by the state.

THe only reason I can think of is to confuse ppl or they were worried about the kill being blocked so they doubled up.

I'm assuming he's more likely to be State than FoD, and that he's a cop because it looks like 'The State' wins by eliminating 'Father of Death' with at least six total people still alive. Makes sense for them to have a way to find the FoD because otherwise the situation flips around and we can only win by taking the state out.

So I'm pretty sure he IS a cop, but probably not a member of the dead. We had him leashed and tied down but Titus went off into lala land. I don't see why Xiao would cooperate now. Presuming we leave him alive, I assume he'll be searching for FoD and trying to hand us guilties fast enough to end the game ... but FoD is just going to shoot him now, because Titus couldn't be bothered to engage her brain and ask questions until she understood what I was doing so the whole plan is in shambles.

P-edit: I don't view the "not alive for purposes of wincon" a down side, because it disincentivizes scum from killing the IC. The real downside of that is that it shortens the window where it appears we can win with state instead of having to find and kill the state. I assumed a rational Titus working with Cerb and I would be well worth that "downside", and that the fact any kill on her would be wasted was a bonus. I guess it's down to how you want to look at it.

dreal is usually pretty combative and I find it NAI. In in memory he was in rare form tho. He was scum painted into a corner and was way more combative than I have ever seen him before. Here's the thing. You have been scum reading since early game. I had 2 posts when you first scum read me. Since then it's just been non-stop "vax is scum" Going from day 1 into 2 you were my best scum read because of it. Since then all you have done is build upon that. You have just been building upon some first impression you have had without revisiting or questioning anything. You can't even explain your reads.

The only good thing to come out of all this is I really don't see this behavior coming from scum desp. I think scum desps reads would change, but this desp (town desp) genuinely believes he has the game figured out, and no one will listen to him.

i don't understand this. you say town couldn't have this thought process, but it makes sense that only one faction has a kill ability. or that they share it odd/even. fuzzy hasn't done anything to be locktown but i'm feeling better about him than other slots in the game. that he would be more inclined to want to work with Xiao after he innoed him looks real. i don't think fuzzy and Xiao are teamed, either.

Prefer Fuzzy for the following reasons: Posts I have outline show they were trying to minimize the negative impacts of one scum team vs the other. I still suspect xiao but I'm hesitant to lynch a cop. My solution is to lynch the read. Fuzzy flips scum: Xiao is scum too!. If fuzzy flips town xiao gets another day to prove himself.

If we lynch RR there is too much WIFOM to figure out any correlations to matter of the flip turns out. I really think taht xiao is probably a FOD cop which is great for us, but I'm willing to bet he is trying to pass off his partner as town. I'd rather risk fuzzy's life to figure this out.

This is why I think you may actually be state instead of fuzzy. I have not claimed FOD, and I don't have a hard on for state. I'm going after the obvious scum, 1 of which is guilty through outright contradiction of the evidence brought forth from dreal.

Town has the possibility of losing here and the state have already shown to be hedging thier bets (withholding information from town, saying they were "redirected") which shows they arent sure either.

I wanted to try to work with xiao yesterday which is why I moved to fuzzy and used my ability on him. IF we go after the scum we know = win. If we keep trying to find FOD, its more unclear.

I really enjoyed how both minority factions thought one or the other had to have a kill, when neither really did. It made the tension between the factions rise to the place I wanted it to be.

This was by far the biggest surprise!
