I don't really know what to make of garmr v. lapsa either, not sure if I'm feeling the lapsa hate although I genuinely don't understand how you don't understand RC's vote if you actually read.

Anyway, VOTE: BananaCucho for naked vote and unvote 12 hours later despite apparently reading everything and there being enough to comment on.

In post 73, nnn_thekushmountains wrote:jarjar makes good points.
VOTE: acyron
The reason why I was excited it because it was scum last game and I do not like being scum.

In post 104, nnn_thekushmountains wrote:haha yeah... voted for whatshisname without actualyl reading anythign he wrote. But jarjardrinks points against him looked pretty good.

But whathisname defense looked pretty good as well. In fact it made jarjar look kind of bad for the misrepresentation.
So I'll UNVOTE: whathisname.

Real talk: there's been a lot more activity so far than I was prepared for. So I kinda just did some dumb shit to be invovled. I'm going need some time before I can read everything closely and have good opinions.

Are you even paying attention to what's going on? A vote on acyron then unvoting whathisname? Has anyone commented on this yet?

Mhmm. But the player's list is in a separate post from the day talk rule. The day talk rule isn't bolded or anything so how exactly did you notice it only now? Tell me, has Lapsa changed his playstyle in a way that would suggest coaching?

looks like scum trying to act town. I wasn't thinking anything about scum chat, I don't know why you would be. It seems like you are trying to make it look like you only just now know that scum has day chat when that should be obvious to everyone from the beginning of the game. I don't buy that you just happened to notice it, if you were looking at the player's list that's where you're attention would have been. Then you get awfully defensive whereas I think town would have brushed it away as nothing. VOTE: Garmr.

About Lapsa: He's clearly not paying much attention as he has failed to understand a couple of simple things that happened. Could be a lack of interest from town, but could also be scum who doesn't have to worry about trying to find scum. At worst, a vote on a townie who isn't playing well was better than anything else I had. Until now of course, because I'm thinking that could have been a slip.

It's possible to have a null/scum read on someone but still think someone else's case is bad.
Any way I'm not saying that's what's happening I'm just stating that RC made a big jump from what JJD has said to "he's town reading". With the vote attached, RC is saying that JJD is more scummy than Lapsa based on that misrep.

377 was directed at you Garmr. I think aggressive scum hunting and bold accusations are a fine play style if that's how you choose to play. But posts from you and RC have leaned more towards painting a picture in my opinion and that makes me a bit wary.

So what you are going to ignore that rc was right and you defending JJD for maybe not reading lapsa as town?

-Grabs popcorn-

So it ok to continue accusing rc of trying to paint a picture despite the fact he was proven right. Hypocrite much.

You can paint a picture and have it turn out to be right, doesn't change the fact that you were painting a picture at the time.

In post 424, Garmr wrote:@murder cat
Also you complaining about trying to paint a picture when the only thing you debated against me is the fact that I mentioned I didn't notice we had day talk and tried to paint it as a extremely scummy thing to do. You are truly laughable.

You are making my ego smile :)

All I'm saying is the lapsa wagon is getting pushed way harder than what I think is reasonable from my perspective. The real issue I had with your post was it displayed a lot of over confidence in Lapsa being scum that I don't think is reasonable. Personally, I think it's hard to tell if Lapsa is scummy or trolly. RC is pushing it really hard, but I haven't played with RC before so I'm not sure how to read that. But the way you jumped on is confusing to me considering how hard you pushed lapsa as scum afterwards.

Rc didn't say anything to convince me because
I was already scum reading lapsa
and I thought I was voting him already whcih is why I told the mod he was wrong even through he was right.

I quoted the post because I like the idea of a wagon on lapsa since it's going to take more time to prove to other people that you are scum meeks and you are both my scum reads.

@fire
Never said to lynch instantly but a wagon that's constantly pushing on laspa(or any scum read) and keeping him open as a lynch so we don't do those rush a person 0 to lynch days

And then you continued to push really hard. Just feels over the top to me.

@Your first post
I will read these later. I'm not saying pushing hard is a scum tell, I just think pushing hard relative to the amount of evidence there is could be seen a painting a picture. That's what I am feeling right now. I don't really mind a Lapsa lynch though because he is not helping anything and we will get info. It seems some people are tunneled so we might as well just lynch now anyway. If he flips scum then obviously I'll drop the issue. In any case, I'm not sure why you are so defensive. Maybe it's just your play style, I will read those games.

Sorry guys, busy weekend and a day off yesterday means I haven't gotten a chance to post as much as I'd like. I'm happy with my vote where it is. I'm not feeling the Lapsa or Kush wagons to be honest, although it's mostly gut and my gut is probably shit. I don't see Kush as scum, someone who has played since 2013 can't be that bad (terrible reasoning, I know, but it is day 1 so I'm going to stick with my gut for now). I'm going to ISO for a bit and then get back to you guys.

In post 697, Garmr wrote:I would probably say murdercat is the most likely to be town

You flatter me.

Yeah, Imma stick with Garmr for now, although I have to go back over the quiet players again. In addition to what I saw before, I agree with the general trend JJD pointed out when he commented about the Meeseeks read. Garmr's reads this game are all over the place and he pushes really hard even though there's not a lot of evidence. It doesn't feel like the way RC does it though like it's a reaction test, it feels like he is trying to convince others but moving on if he doesn't get support. The move off Calvary and onto Lapsa after "the best case all game" feels forced and dramatic. I also took note of the discussion of PRs earlier, although I'm wondering if scum would be that blatant. I do still need to meta you though, I will do that if/when it looks like you are getting lynched if not sooner.

Not going to comment on Calvary (and Garmr's post) until Calvary is back and posts.

I'm noticing that Autti is doing a whole lot of nothing. and have no reasoning behind them, which is curious to me. looks like a I'm not sure what to post so I'll do some vague reads, but this could conceivably comes from town who feels guilty for not posting.

Also I think it's funny that Kush made post 420, just noticed that.

Perhaps. Although it can easily be interpreted as you trying to see what will stick. Anyways, we aren't lynching you today I don't think so I guess I'll have to move my vote sooner or later. I'm not feeling Kush or Lapsa though, which is why I'm thinking Autti might be a reasonable wagon. But like I said I need to look at people like Jake and I am innocent again, not that's there's much there.

Kush would have to be so so bad to be scum though it's hard to believe. The only scum points are for things like poor word choice and stupid joke posts. Scum wouldn't draw attention to themselves in such an obvious way.

I think Lapsa is more valuable of late so now I would more actively fight that lynch (even then I didn't want to be part of it, I knew that much). But I think there's bit of a line in the sand over Lapsa where JJD is on one side and RC/Garmr are on the other. So I think if Lapsa is scum it refelects poorly on JJD and, if town, it reflects poorly on RC/Garmr (mostly garmr IMO). Hardly conclusive or anything but I think its more info than we would get out of an I am innocent or fire lynch. That being said, I am now more strongly of the opinion that it's not a good lynch today.

I would have to read it, but not really. I'm basically assuming you are capable of a decent scum game already, so knowledge that you were able to play somewhat decently doesn't really change that. Because you said you've been playing for a while I'm thinking you wouldn't draw attention to yourself the way you have this game if you were scum. I think you know that the posts that I've pointed out (and others have pointed out) would come off as scummy.

It's not that I haven't considered it, I just think it falls under the explanation of scum doesn't want to bring attention to themselves. So even if you were trying to wifom it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to do that when it makes you stick out like a sore thumb. But maybe that's just more wifom...

Anyway I never said you were the towniest townie who ever townied, I'm just leaning town on you right now and I don't like a lynch on you just based on these strange things you've said. I prefer to build a case based on things like Garmr has done like over pushing reads and switching reads without any reasoning given.

I have no meta knowledge on Garmr and admittedly, not much experience in general. But in this game (first I found) it seems like he moved his vote around a fair amount (even on day 1) so I think it's conceivable. I do still intend to properly meta him when I get the chance, maybe tonight even. I would argue that the difference between the way he is drawing attention to himself and what you've been doing is that he is doing it in an attempt to look town (assuming he is scum of course).

Garmr, did you read the interaction between me and Kush? He asked if in my experience scum moved their vote around on day 1. It's clear that's all I was looking for and I said I intended to properly meta you. You aren't even at L-2, I don't get the nervousness. And I hardly see where I've tried to convince others of much of anything this game, I won't do that until I'm confident in something. At this point I'm just explaining my reasoning for what I've been doing.

I'm not saying looking at the game was any huge point against you though, I just used it to argue that scum are capable of moving their vote around as much as town on Day 1. For what it's worth, if you were at L-1 I would remove my vote because I'm nowhere near ready to hammer you. I do think it's strange that a few people hopped on your wagon without a lot of thought for themselves. Don't think I'm not looking elsewhere just because my vote is currently on you.

Can you grace with a real explanation RC? It seems like you think JJD is scum because he didn't think Lapsa was scum. But then you said later that Lapsa might be town because of how JJD (and I) acted so I'm not sure I follow. I'd appreciate if you spelled exactly why you are scum reading JJD.

I think this Calvary wagon is bad. I think Garmr's jump on is bad. I think I am Innocent's vote on Calvary is bad too. I don't understand why lapsa is putting a wagon at L-1 if they are replacing out. I'm worried about Garmr, fire, and I am innocent right now.

You follow with no reasoning of your own.

Why?

I've talked about Kush already, go through my Iso. I think I talked about it with kush specifically. The case against kush is based on weird things he's said that are obviously kind of scummy. I think scum would have been more careful. I also don't think a case based on things like 'Kush said he's town, he's probably scum trying to trick people!!1!' is very strong. The wagon on him also grew crazy fast.

Garmr you are stretching the lapsa case real hard. Maybe you actually are silly town controlled by fire and RC though because I think you may have gone past 'scum pushing a mislynch' and into 'town tunnelling' territory.

I reread his iso to try to figure out what's making me feel so off. I'm not going to quote wall but if you look through it there's a lot of non-commitment. It doesn't read to me like town non-commitment though, it reads like "I'm trying so hard to figure things out and man it could really be anything, huh guys?" when he actually knows what's going on. Just a gut feeling though, so I want to know what others think.

I really think it's too late to do Calvary because we probably won't get a claim and we could easily end up lynching a PR. But I don't like the idea of getting any more claims out in a last second scramble or lynching a non CC'd PR.

It just feels bad to lynch someone who is PR claiming when I don't think there is enough justification to doubt the claim. I say non CC'd but I guess what I mean is the claim doesn't have enough justification to be called into question to the point where we should be willing to lynch today.

Key idea is assuming garmr is scum. If one is scum they probably both are, but if garmr is town and we lynch him we lose a vt, if postie is scum and we lynch then we lose gunsmith. So it's better to do garmr now.

Ok, I'm caught up. Ircher looking to vote someone that isn't postie is ridiculous. Also the fact that calvary didn't claim is strange. I don't understand why RC would move off of the two players that are 50% likely to be scum. Ircher/RC scumteam seems reasonable to me. I could see them looking to bus ircher to get gs postie lynched and RC towncred. That slot is under a lot of pressure anyway so I think that's pretty good value for them. Why does postie have so many votes again? I don't agree with Meseeks point of view, I think we should vote the scummier one.

What do we think the scum PRs are right now? Do we really buy that scum postie was able to claim gunsmith based on the info avaliable to scum? I don't understand the possible setups that well, but mafia doc doesn't make that much sense with vig in the game correct? So were are basing the fact that scum postie claimed gunsmith because of fear of an SK on day 1? Someone help me out here.

But YOU know for sure. So why are YOU so quick to not lynch the confirmed scum? And why are you sheeping RC so hard? Besides it seems like there's a roleblocker in this setup anyway.

You CCing as scum makes sense for the reason I explained before, scum trades a suspected slot for PR and town cred for another scum.
