(Well, actually 5 squares away, apparently there's a weird rule where I can hit enemies who are 5 squares diagonal from me as well) And they'll think they're safe while they're 25 feet away because morphic reach is hidden like that.

If I do my job properly, you won't have to hit anything unless it's artificial, undead, or demonic.

Here's the general gist of dealing with evil critters that we discussed in site chat.

1. Danum, Avina, and Seline dips cleric (or favored soul) for a healing wand usage without UMD. We'll buy a CSW wand.

2. Buff. Invis, reduce person, shield (especially for Kat), haste, mage armor, everything.

3. Who is not actually useless here so he'll do his stuff.

4. Scrolls. FoM + solid fog combo was mentioned.

5. Who will also try to waste demons' turn by conjuring with ridiculous CL. I think anticipate teleportation was mentioned.

I'm actually against splitting the party. Kinda selfish reason really, but I think the huge reason of why I'm enjoying this is because of the fact that we are playing this as a group and having a fun time together.

Bigger party reduces exp compared to two small parties, yes. However, while we are playing while aiming to the finish with more convenience, is splitting parties and reducing the share of a fun worth sacrificing for more convenience?

Bigger party makes the progress slow, yes. However, I don't necessarily think that slowing the progress has brought severe inconvenience in playing the game last campaign. In fact, it's only going to faster as we gets more experienced.

Last campaign I don't think having one less level mattered to us really. I think it was the lack of composition that was huge. Until Rislyn sniped our party with our ultimate weakness, we were having a blast through the challenging campaign, all as a group. It was really a thrilling experience for me you know, discussing with fellow scummers for weeks on how to survive that battle that the DM outright called it "easy TPK".

With that said, even if it's Act 1, people who plays in the latter session might accidentally be spoiled while seeing the site chat. We can all be careful yes but accident by the definition is something that we can not predict.

In the end though, if FG decides to split the party, I'll take it, as he's the DM and it's him who's devoting his precious time running a game for us. I'd rather avoid splitting the party until it's absolutely necessary though.

Now she is the Bogata's youngest professor and the headmaster of the academy. She renames herself to Zenia Holz, and works hard even now to improve Green Pillar and let the place be widely known.
