One more thing, I do agree with pops' reasons for scumreading Eddie. He outed them to prove a point rather than productive reasons, that's a scum mindset where he wants to be correct about everything, but being correct does not equal being town.

Eddie’s post about Ank gives me pause though. Ank would definitely say about Krazy, why is he feeling weird to her. That’s NAI for Krazy but possibly town indicative for Eddie. It’s weak though.

Okay, so pops vs Eddie, I don't think outing the neighborhood makes Eddie scum. Like, I get that Eddie can do it if he's careless scum but pops' argument doesn't make sense since he can also do it if he's annoyed town and I don't see why pops is reading into it in that way. It feels forced.
I initially liked pops for her earlier play because it didn't feel like it was scum-her and I think I actually know how she is as scum, unlike most people here. But the vote on Eddie feels like a reach.


Regarding the Hectic wagon, I'm not super opposed to it, but I disagree with the reasoning behind it. Mostly for Nancy's issue. Because from what I'm reading from Hectic's posts, he doesn't seem to understand the issue with the question he was asking. Nancy, do you think he's faking that he doesn't understand? I think it would be easier for scum to just say, "oops, I didn't realize" and then stop pushing on it instead of continuing to try talking to you.

It’s definitely possible but that isn’t why I’m voting him but when I tell someone that I’m concerned that answering something could be antitown, I don’t know why they don’t back off either. One thing is clear. Hectic and Pine are never buddies here.

What bothers me the most is that, Hectic had to know that likely at one person would be confused by his fake doc post and Pine commented on that too. However, what bothers me is that bob seems to be implying that no one would have that reaction, because of Titus’ claim and I obviously disagree with that. i think this post is disgusting - hectic is kinda lowkey bringing AtE to the game which is out of character for him and seems to be sad about being caught for the wrong reasons by using the NAI argument

As i think we have already seen a few neighbours claim a scum read on their neigbhour. One of the examples being titus scum read hectic

I think it would depend on whether they’re neighbour is acting scummy in their eyes. as either alignment, because from town pov=logical suspicion, from scum pov=easy mislynchbait.

1) They were adamant about hoods not being outed.
2) They were upset when Titus outed they were in a hood with Hectic but tr read her for it. They were being 100% genuine too.
3) They’re mindmelding with me on Krazy. In fact they were the first to make that read in there, not me. I just agreed with it.

Agree, similar to how he was reading me as scum with the two people who were lone pushing the OkaPoka wagon. I'd understand more if the solves had some sense to them, but those really don't.

NaCl is a really strange slot. He just randomly said "my teammate told me to vote the UTR so I'm now voting the UTR" and it seems too wolfy to be wolf. I can't make sense of it.

Pops, I would have expected you to have a stronger read on me. But it's not that "I'm just doing what Farkran told me" but rather that he convinced me on Okapoka's posts that they're not really something I should be townreading. Because I was initially townreading Oka and Farkran convinced me otherwise. And when you say it like that it's discrediting.

Also, @Oka well, if you don't want to tell me about what you were thinking in the past that's not a good look. Literally everything you do feels like it's trying to make it hard for me to understand you. Yes, I get that you explaining opinions you don't have anymore doesn't help the game progress. But it helps me read you.

I started off composing the sentence as one thing, then changed my mind and forgot to go back and omit Pine’s name from the first part. Basically I was going to lump them together and say something slightly different, then decided that Pine deserved his own sentence.

I ISOed NaCl. I disliked his dislike for Eddie based on the vacation and posting for the sake of posting things. I liked his comments on my wagon and the comment on the doc crumb thing and resulting conversation with Nancy.

Specifically when you were trying to press Nancy for an answer to your question and getting scumread by her for it, I don't see why you didn't just stop (I still think you were wrong on it since it might out the PR). Because you didn't have to keep asking the question and the fact that you continued to press it despite it being unpopular felt like you were tunnelling on trying to get your answer more than you cared about how you looked to her. I think that if you were scum you would have admitted to your mistake or otherwise backed off.

I kind of think that if Hectic flips scum then it's more likely that pops is scum. I don't agree with Hectic's reasons for townreading her and pops's feels like she's soft-defending Hectic

Regarding Pine, I really think this wagon is worse than the Hectic one and that Pine is town, although I think he's been consistently wrong in his reads on Hectic (well, also me). Like, I'm still in favour of Okapoka because I feel like he's not really engaging directly. Every attempt I make to try and understand him feels like he's deliberately avoiding me and I don't think he's really gotten into any kind of long drawn out discussion of how he thinks. I know pretty much everyone disagrees with me but I don't get why.

I thought it was strange because if SS is scum, I could see him staying off a town wagon which he doesn't want to be associated with but thinks will be the lynch at day end even if he soft defends it. The way how Pine and Titus were declaring how they wanted my flip then, it wouldn't surprise me if scum!SS thought he could defend me with me still being lynched anyway.

Halfway through this catchup, my son woke up with a fever of 104.6 so even though I read eberhjbng past where I last commented I’m not processing it. On the way to the ER. Sometimes when they’re doing testing on him I like to withdraw into distractions and sometimes I can’t concentrate on it so depending on how today goes I might be disconnected.

It seems like he's saying you realized in 582 that he was not doc so your attitude on him being town should have changed immediately afterward, but I feel like 582 indicates you started to realize there were *problems* with him being doc, not that he certainly was not, which is not the same thing. While it's kinda fair for him to try to clarify this, I don't think the way he was doing so was particularly effective.

I have not played with either of them but I think you are Wagonomics? That was the game we were together in. No, it's just that I finally realized that I don't do well in games that have more than like 9 people in it because I can't really keep track of too many people at the same time. I'd initially hoped that it was just a thing I did as scum but this is actually the first game with 13+ players in it where I'm town and I don't feel that great here either.

In BP, he pretty much did jack other then constantly talking about his playstyle.

I actually have no idea what I could possibly do to rerail the game though. Eddie is just openly admitting to wagoning a player he thinks is less likely to flip scum, in a way the conspicuously aligns with not wanting his neighbor to actually become dead and incriminate him and/or not wanting to continue a dialogue with that neighbor when he's currently winning public opinion and only has it to lose. Like he can clearly just do what he wants now. So I've been reading through those Pops-Amrun interactions for way too long now trying to figure out if either of them are scum, and I'm still pretty confused.
I will say that Pops' tone is a lot more antagonistic than I'm used to, my one scum game with her she was pretty lax iirc. But also, I'm surprised she's scumreading Amrun over a "scumslip" which I don't think is scum-indicative. It's easy to make errors like that and you can draw logic to how it's more likely she wouldn't forget Pine since she was scumreading him most, but mistakes happens, and I don't think it's NAI, and certainly not concrete. Most "scumslips" are NAI and sometimes actually more likely to come from town. Amrun... something something, can't articulate right now.

So let's assume you're right, and Pops also has that same belief. That, as scum, is where the confidence comes from. She, as scum, genuinely believes I did something scummy! Hence, conviction. As scum, one of the ways I get town read is try to get worked up about something, or find something to be passionate about. For example, if my teammates outvote me on a kill I don't like, I'll enter the day arguing how shit of a kill that was - something I believe. This is going into a tangent though -

Whenever I post an ordered readslists before I’m actually confident on it. it’s not generally an accurate reflection of how I’m reading the game anyway.

I will say that I’m currently most suspicious of Pine/Pops in that order. I’m opposed to lynching (in no particular order) today, any of you, Amrun, Titus, Krazy, Oka, Elsa, Piss, Naci, SS, Hectic, probably not DDL either, so I’m obviously at least wrong on one of these.

I’ve hydra’d with him and this how town Math would think. He gets a wrong idea into his head and deathtunnels it into oblivion. That is exactly what he did with Kokichi in DnD. Any point I would make to show why he might not be scum got dismissed and he’d get very upset with me for disagreeing with him, so yeah, it totally sounds exactly like what Math would do. I seriously doubt that Math would ever be stupid enough to push scum!Titus to try and mislynch me, so yeah, I think this is town!Titus we’re seeing here.

I don’t agree with this at all. It depends on those teammates’ reads and whether or not you think they’re coming from either a town or scum mindset. Like why does scum!Titus even mention Math’s reads, since they’re clearly not inline with hers? So this is one case, where I totally believe is legit. Yeah, I don’t believe Math would tell scum!Titus to push me and his deathtunneling me, is also inline with this. I think Krazy is surprisingly scummy for how little he has been wagoned. He keeps disappearing and reappearing. I'm not very confident about reading him and haven't myself been pushing him because when I played town with him he was super bleh day 1 and obvtowned day 3. But I think that slot is really creepy. Ed asked me to think about the universe where Eddie is IC and I think in that universe it seems even weirder that Krazy is just always there.
DDL is like Krazy lite and has felt really off. Starting off sheeping me seemed like it could be both !hims but more like scum!him and nothing's really gotten super better. Similar to Krazy I trust him to be readable later. But he hasn't been great. I've taken note of how DDL hasn't really gotten teased for having a derpy contribution level to the game the way Elsa has when my gut likes Elsa more so far.
I really don't know whether Pine is scum, I lean town and I don't know if it's pocketing. I kind of don't hate the wagon in the sense that I think it has information and NaCl wagon does not, I don't know what silly person suggested wagoning Elsa, but that also definitely does not.
NaCl is like the definition of a boring wagon I've kind of gone into it about how I feel about that player.

I see. Though I disagree him pushing for a flip 9 days early is indicative of him taking TM more seriously. Just sounds like outright bad play to me if he's town. Why quicklynch instead of using the extra time to: come to a better informed lynch, have more time to form reads, have more data to look for associations later on. Plus, he wanted to quicklynch me before I even came on to give reads or really start playing. I'd said I wasn't playing the prior day because I wasn't feeling it, and he tries to get me lynched before I even come back. I'm glad you've eminded me of some of the reasons for why I'm hard scumreading him.

I obviously could be wrong but his play here, reads to me more like driving lynches rather than sorting. Him mentioning discussing the game with Mastina but also her having not given any reads or either Krazy or me, also concerns me, because I cannot imagine Mastina not having an opinion on either of us, even if she has no opinion on the rest of the playerlist. He also said in VG, that a scumtell for him was looking obvtown, so take that with a grain of salt. I also found a scumgame of his, where he said, “X isn’t the lynch today”. And he said that you were “the lynch today”, iirc.

I think you’re right about DDL. I guess my point was, they, SS and Pops don’t look linked.

Can someone explain to me why Titus is town? I think I'm the only one scumleaning her, so I want to hear some reasons. Is it because of her entrance outing the neighbourhood? Why can't she have done that as scum? Also, she was really stubborn in accepting alternate strategies even when it was pretty evident they were superior. If scum, I don't think she believed her strat would be followed, but I think she could be faking the conviction she had for the original strat, to possibly be townread for genuine misguided actions.

@Krazy, I think assuming Eddie was avoiding your question is kind of a reach. The thing is Eddie, I’ve seen Krazy make these kind of illogical leaps as town too, so I don’t agree it’s scum indicative just that your wagon is obviously bad, based on this.

However, I do have to wonder why Krazy didn’t consider he was possibly misunderstanding you.
