Okay so I'd like to point something out that I think might be a false assumption from a lot of the players here. For the record, this is entirely speculative but I think it warrants a post.

We are assuming players know they are infected on the night they get the virus. I do not think this is the case. I see sowhere in the rules where it says this is the case. If I kissed it please let me know!

Covid does not show symptoms immediately and I would not be surprised if the infected didn't know they were infected for a phase or two.

I would also not be surprised if the infected could spread the disease with their night actions, or by being visited at night, so I think we should put a full stop on all non-essential visiting-style night actions! It's a real world precaution we must conaider here in order to cull the spread of this virus! Doctors, cops, etc should plz always do your jobs! But know that it puts you at risk!
Fruit vendors should stay at home. Email spamming actually probably would not have transmitted it but other roles are likely to!

So this whole "claim when infected" thing is probably an unachievable goal and it also assumes the infected player isn't going to opt to switch sides once they know.

I mentioned this earlier, but the game has ended now so I can post about it. Ari’s play here so far reminds me of his play in Ginngie Pick 4 U. Ari’s play was lackluster there and it seems lackluster here but he has been putting in a modicum of effort similar to that game.

You didn't mention what Ari's alignment was in that game, so this isn't as useful a post as it could be.

My mistake. He was town in that game. I think he is probably town in this game because his play looks really similar to his play in that game. I incorrectly scumread him in that game for the majority of the game.

As for the Cultish nature, it seems being infected can change your wincon but it doesn't give you scum access, and it may be able to be cured. Cult with a twist.

We are to get rid of main scum while keeping our numbers higher than scum+infected hntil we become immune to the disease. We still have tk lynch the 3 original scum at that point but that's regular mafia so nbd.

Otherwise, scum can only make 2 kills on non-infected players throughout the game, but can make regular NKs on infected players.

I don't think I missed anything setup-wise.

Oh, other than, from Mod questioning, that we can No Lynch indefinitely and the game will continue, and the infected players do find out they are infected in the NAR stage of things.

I was going to do a read of the three in a parallel Iso to glean interactions from the parts of the game I've not read, but I believe I have seen enough to continue this push.

There are a few instances that hammered it home to me, and the active period wo ehich I am referring was when Oka really started to break out in this thing.

Both Quick and Tchill were posting heavily, and none of theyr interactions with each other seemed genuine. Quick calls Tchill scum multiple times but never follows up with a vote. There's almost a joking confidence behind the read too, as if it's tongue-in-cheek because they both know, and I got that feeling more than once over multiple pages of interactions.

I can go back and find posts but it won't be now and may not be soonish either. I'm efforting to stay relevant and it's a bit more than I have time for to go fishing this stuff up atm.

A lot of the Tchill read is heavily based on scum-distancing theater with Quick and if Quick does flip red, as I am confident they will, Tchill is basically confed with him imo.

And like, they would go back to posts that felt a bit more natural and get back on Oka for a bit, but then Boom! It was back again! I simply can't overlook it, especially with mastina MIA and unreadable and Miss Lynch replaced by to become the towniest slot in the game!

Plus I theorize that while scum have the option of killing infected players, they likely have a limited window to do so before that player's immune system fights it off granting them immunity. You would be a better asset to have alive on the scumteam later in the game than either infected or dead early in the game.

I don't think mastina is wrong in seeing scum equity on those posts from me. I have a tendancy to made handwavy statements and throw a ridiculing shade on people as scum because it's easier than fully formed reads, which I simply cannot manage as scum. No matter how hard I try, save for a few exceptional games.

So mastina seeing that Ari in them is entirely reasonable. I can't fault her for it. But it is wrong.

I am very fond of recent posts, and see no scum motives in any of the recent ones. So I think a combination of honest scumhunting and decent posting leaves a nice town taste in my mouth

mastina is also dead, with no alignment change noted in their flip. This tells me that scum used one of their 2 kills on mastina. I highly doubt they would use the other one in the same night (if they even can) and doubly doubt they use it on a claimed weak role.

With both pieces of into taken into account and the fact that I never saw Blair change their intentions fir visiting Jake, it only makes sense that Jake is infected here. Simple math.

Hey! That's coo. Yeah I believe it is because people think I'm playing to my scum meta of lurking mostly, as was proposed by mastina.

With replacements, a V/LA was lasted just about the last week of D3, and then the night (where I didn't read anything), I need to reassess my reads a lot and come back to this, as I believe I've stated before.

I've had far more townreads than scumreads this game but I've been negligent in following up on the latter so I have no confidence in them right now.

I had a Lickety/Quick, Tchill/you, and Jake "solve" at one point but it's been pretty much thrown out the window, and I haven't updated myself since.
