I have the Gigabyte RX 5700XT! And a 32" 2k monitor. I couldn't be happier. I've never tried OC'ing tho, but I think it's factory OC? I'm quite happy with the baseline performance though. 80+hz in Forza Horizon 4 is

The Giga card is great to OC if you want to mess around with it. It's got great cooling for out of the box settings and you probably don't need to mess with it much since it's already got a fairly aggressive curve for the fans. Not like you really need to do much OCing really, but it is fun just to mess with stuff. Just don't get carried away with custom BIOSes without knowing what you are doing. That said, I think it has a secondary BIOS switch it to reset it if you goof.

Because the Wattage gives off heat. Basically, electrons move through the wires with causes resistance which causes heat. So that is why when you electrocute a piece of rubber it does all kinds of weird stuff. It's basically because of resistance, but you also need resisters in your circuit or else the amperage from the current would cause the electrons to move through the wires too fast and the circuit would sort of bottleneck on its own path at the same time the electrons are moving through the wires. Think about it like this: Lightning is electricity that just basically doesn't have any resistance. So when you get struck by lightning, it burns you (and leaves you negatively charged which is why people who get struck by lightning once are more likely to get struck again, but I digress) because when the force of the electrons moving through unresisted space, when it DOES his something with resistance it creates a LOT of heat. People are still pretty good conductors of electricity, but they are not even close to as good of conductors of electricity as air is... It's just that with air, when a current moves through it, it can just be dispersed out everywhere without any sort of path. Anyways, it's not a perfect analogy because technically the electrons move from the ground to the sky so the conductor is actually you and not the air, but I just said it that way to make things simpler.

Think of it like moving parts going wrong. When we are talking about electrons moving and such at the atomic level, when electrons are moving very fast then they are acting like moving parts. So when you have stuff moving very fast stuff can go wrong. Think of it like a highway. If there is a four lane highway that is moving at 65 MPH and it has to all the sudden merge into a one lane 30 MPH road, all it takes is one person in one vehicle who isn't paying attention for a huge accident to happen. Same thing only on a micro level scale.

Because heat makes things expand and when they expand they tend to warp. Wouldn't do to have chips pop off the board.

They wouldn't pop off, but capacitors can very well get over volted and pop. Capacitors are fairly complicated (but not like a timing chip that actually counts or something) and I don't know the ins and outs of how they work, but I know they store electricity and can only hold so much until they do pop. Resistors can do this as well, but that is why there is a rating system in place so you don't put too much voltage through a resistor (or capacitor for that matter). The capacitors are the things in electronic devices that kill you if you try and fix your own TV because they store energy of electricity long after the power has been disconnected. They just "leak" power out of them slowly, which is different for resistors because resistors hold the same current both before and after the point that the current goes through the capacitor.

I somewhat dislike that I care more at the initial hop of the game (either daystart or replace in) and in the final few phases of the game than I do in the middle, but it's a hard fact. What is one to do.

Plus, time constraints, yada yada that nobody cares about, you know.

And I assume Scum are going to kill off their infected at some point because I also have a theory that after a certain number of phases being infected but not dying one becomes cured due to the antibodies that fought off the virus now being present in their systems, and assuming scum know this it only makes sense that they will have to start killing them off at some point or risk a huge wave of suddenly conftown (or as close to IC as we can get in this game) slipping through the cracks.

But yeah, just theorizing tbh, don't mind me.

I'd say the people I would call Town on the A50 wagon are: Oka, Cheeky, Gobble. Everyone else I could see as Scum.

The people I would call Town on the Hactoc wagon are: dave, TSE, FL (at that point in the game, but FL could have been infected).

Update on this.

I think Town are in: LQ, Alch, dave, Rat, Oka, Cheeky, Auro (pending), Piss (bemoaned to me).

Who I would lynch in order of priority:

Clidd (pending)
Hactoc (pending)

FL could be Town and giving legit info, or he could be infected. Neither would surprise me. If FL is Town, I'd like to see what he has to say about Auro.

You'll notice I left Nero off the list. That is because I could see him going either way, but right now I am seeing him as Scum. If I go on this leaning, I would put him right after FL.

If I am wrong about my TRs, Alch probably got infected and Auro is Scum.

Nero. Thinking Radical is scum too, not for the push on Auro because a lot of people have found Auro scummy, but because he changed his predecessor’s claim to VT. It looks like scum who didn’t want to fumble on an existing fakeclaim so they took it back and claimed VT so they wouldn’t be backed into a corner of having to explain Night Actions. And to play setup spec I doubt any VT roles actually exist in this game so that’s why I think the VT claim is a lie.
