You said star was "planning" to use it against you. I guess it just feels a bit like circular logic to me. 1) it's a point that fire and meuh brought up, about the dance game specifically - I feel like it's something town is likely to think about? Like, yes they can reject it for whatever reason, but not like reading the game or responding to the concern feels odd
2) it's not just the 'awkward entrance' thing - you have been portraying basically everything i post as like totally unreasonable to the point it can't be town and implying that it is surprising anyone would read me as town. i don't really think that's all that compatible with believing someone is a good scum player.

I townread fire and meuh. I think I've given the reason for both in my iso; fire has had several things that resonated with me. I played with scum fire in datisi's cafe and was like, I'm pretty sure I was Not a Fan throughout; this feels v different. I think meuh's posting just feels town, people were pushing her posts about skitter but i understood where it was coming from so i don't, and i think her reaction to the pushes from you & tris felt genuine. Also generally just vibes. I still think hellbooks is town cos she's extremely funny and i like most of the reads she makes (the osuka read and more recently the Exclamation Points read)

I've gone back and forth a bit on sky and skitter and i admit my reads there aren't crystal clear but my explanation is there in my iso. They both had points where I felt they weren't being genuine but if everyone thought that was so unreasonable it's fairly likely that I was wrong on that and would prefer to judge their interactions with other people where defensiveness gets in the way less.

I think osuka is like, vaguely suspicious. I still don't really like the posting he was making which felt like he was just making himself post things that didn't mean a whole lot after not posting for a while. I wasn't a massive fan of the fire push or the flailing push on meuh. But I still don't think I really have a coherent case or reason to suspect him beyond 'these things feel bad'

I think you are pretty likely to be scum because I think your justification to join the meuh wagon was pretty eh. The PoE read from meuh is pretty, like, regular, and it feels like you're starting from the point that it was scummy and working backwards to justify it but didn't really pick a lane - etc the arguments about it being impossible to townread me, and the angle that it's incomprehensible to just have a poe read where you think people's interactions with each other are all like mutually vaguely scummy, and the angle that it's like so weird to vote a relatively inactive player in osuka. I think the core of the difference here is that your case is based on the idea that Fire's positions don't make sense so he's scum but I feel like mostly his positions have made sense. I maybe overestimated the degree to which I can meaningfully argue this point so this response is probably not going to be that helpful but shrug I said I was going to make it.

I don't think the early skitter read was unreasonable, I don't think it's scummy to agree with a point from someone, I don't agree town wouldn't townread me, I don't think it's scummy to not post much on the weekend where activity was overall low, I don't think pivoting more so away from you while you're v/la is something town wouldn't do. I think that your post mostly just asserts that these things are like unreasonable and I'm not sure how exactly to argue against it except saying I can easily see how town would do any of the things brought up

Ok i went back to read that interaction again and my view on it hasn't changed. I don't think baltar's wallpost was terrible but I think saying it's "objective and not opinionated" is like, not really accurate at all. That isn't even a criticism of baltar's post - Baltar can be like right about the scumteam, and right in his reasoning for it too, and that would still not be a super objective and not opinionated post. It was a post pushing the prior opinions baltar had about other people being reasonable. I think the interaction of saying "baltar and fire is ?v?, idk about baltar" saying "oh baltar's wallpost may be towny but i could be convinced otherwise" is a p soft defense and osuka using it to demand he gets townread is just ??? to me. i think scum defend townies who are being wagoned, like... really really regularly, even if the scum player is being scumread by some people. this makes sense because if scum always just jumped on the opportune wagon it'd be transparent. I slipped away from eating lunch and I just read the few messages that have posted...I must say I'm not impressed with how scumhunting fell off a cliff after I disappeared. Baltar, skitter, osuka, skygazer all just basically stop contributing as soon as young Ausuka is not here to beat up on. VERY INTERESTING
