I don't think anybody has town points this early in the game. Everybody kind of starts at 0 and the only thing you can do is sink lower in scummy points, and right now I think Konowa has sunk lower than BloodCovenent.

blantant appeal. we normally lynch a townie on day one, but that townies lynch plus the results of the nite actions will set us as a town further ahead in knowing what we are dealing with here. i.e. two scum gruops, or an sk or all three.

Not really. He was attacked for soft claiming a role that knew another's alignment. That leaves plenty of PR's (most likely doctor) for him to claim.

Okay so this is what I'm taking away from the nightkills, the Sicilian Mafia Goon probably means that there's more than one Mafia faction. I'm guessing there's either three Mafia factions or two and a vigilante/serial killer.

Yep, ill protect you tonight. Tubby, there is no point you watching yourself. I'd suggest keeping the WIFOM down to just 2 players- me and Hewitt. Or alternatively, just say you're going to watch Hewitt. I think me dying might be a best case scenario here, given some people see me as a definite potential mislynch.

For the record I'm not targeting a claimed power role that doesn't make sense to me and I'm not going to just let the rest of you direct my nightkill because some of you aren't town players. I'm not going to risk getting roleblocked because I'm targetting potential scum and they know it. Still reading, but this caught my eye. What makes you so sure that you will even survive to D3 or 4? I see this as a potential slip.

With Tubby's and Hewitt's claims, I throw my 'hewitt is town' theory right out the window. Just looking at the kills, I guessed Ditto was killed by another mafia (I'm assuming there's another mafia because of the 'Italian' Mafia), Pom by Italian Mafia and TylerJ by a vig. This is all speculation, but based on the play of those three characters, that's why I think that's who killed who. Which is why I don't buy hewitt's claim one bit.

Anyway, done reading. I'm really torn on Hewitt. He's played town this entire game, but his claim reeks of scum. I can't see a pro-town reason for shooting Ditto, who I nor anybody else found really scummy.

Doc claim is... weird, but I believe it. Tubby is obv town. So is magichands. Hewitt... not so sure. Leaning other scum faction.

I'd have no problems with a qwints lynch, his reaction to the claim is really weird, I don't know why he'd put him at L-1 so early if he didn't intend to lynch him. I'd really like an OP or Deathnote lynch, both have skated by this entire game without contributing anything. Same with Volume, but he hasn't posted in forever. He'll probably get replaced.

It was a scary decision, but I think it made a somewhat abrasive game a little less abrasive. Toward the end, the insults weren't really insults, but some of the earlier ones translated really poorly over the internet, or were actually mean. I plan to necro this thread about civility in Mafia Games in MD now that this game is over.

I made the decision without prompting, as I personally would have been seriously offended if you had directed either of your drugs comments at me. Also, I don't think it should be the responsibility of the players to make sure that they aren't insulted and complain about those who are insulting them.
