In post 87, Oil Tycoons wrote:I'm probably very stupidly stuck on the "last game wasn't enough of a challenge for you" bit. It's not like I did any significant work last game at all (got hard carried by Tammy, which is probably why town won), and the implication that she's doing this to make the game harder is... weird? I find their explanations for their opening to be weird as well - they've implied that they're doing this intentionally (we both like opening this way) and accidentally (I'm "mostly" here for you, at a dive bar). I'm currently pushing myself to table it, but it's something I'd like you/Tammy specifically to keep an eye on because I don't think this looks like town-morph so far at all.
I didn't take the part about making the game harder literally. It seemed like a coy remark. I should add that what I didn't like about 58 was that it didn't address you. It's like if you were having a debate and didn't like what your opponent said so you look at the crowd for support.

Don't worry, I believe my ability to remain paranoid about ffery longer than most is well documented.

What you are doing is making an essentially arbitrary as far as I can tell distinction that the scum can't be all off the wagon. No reason I can see has been provided why this is necessary. As I've said if you have a problem with any of the particular votes onto the wagon then by all means go ahead and tell me that but especially with a deadline wagon the group of people on it is going to be like half whoever happened to be online at that moment because everyone should be voting the biggest wagon at some point

D1 in a 13p shouldn't go past 50 pages

instead of answering that question, i choose to answer this equally useful question

1. Chiaotzu
2. Bins
3. morph the cat
4. VA-11 Hall-A
5. kraska

out of this random group of 5 players, the most likely to be scum in my view are vallhalla and kraska=chiaotzu in that order

The thing that I thought was strange was that he didn't go into infodump mode if he's town, to get as much of his thoughts into the game while he could.

Like I said, Zach's reaction looks somewhat better to me.

The day 1 drama didn't help but I'm also just not in a mafia headspace lately and knew all along I probably wasn't going to be

Seems fine. It's not a read I'm shocked to see from them nor is collaborating with me out of character given a strong townread.

They could totally be scum though I'll probably never fully trust them

It's a rarity. The only time I remember that town-you played with scum-me was when I was Sangres in NY 167. You were vig. bizarre game and scum conceded on day 3 or something. Not my best scum game, but not terrible.

I have a hard time believing your role and morph's role can both be town. Unless scum has a shit ton of power to mess with these results.
Town can't have two power roles in 13p? I'd expect three or four even in a normal

it's a theme game. i'll start wigging out about power roles when we get mafia goon flips or any actually strong role is claimed.

How do you feel about Implosion's recent posts?
he too is failing to sell me on chiaotzu. i feel like i can explain all of this with "this player just doesn't play the way you want him to."

maybe that's always true. idk. a lot of the points being made against chia seem a bit weak and forced.

I just have a hard time believing we have a PR providing inno's and another which is basically a doctor providing inno's? Or that's what I got out of it at least. We also have a flipped roleblocker and who knows what else is out there. I'm not really buying all of that.
we have a pr providing one inno but apparently not a second, and doctors essentially do this in the first place they just get a little more clarity about it

correct mafia theory is to not lynch an innocent result because math even when you know for a fact there is a godfather in the game

which is why godfather is a bad role that shouldn't be used outside role madness

I am not the type of person who thinks a fame can't have two trackers, but I don't think we have a full tracker and a full watcher in this game.

Chiaotzu tracked realeo to bins. Either he can track people or realeo is scum. What's the reason for scum to have a tracker in this setup? Just to catch morph?

Why is bins role in this game? Is there any reason scum would have something like a reflexive rolecop? I doubt it.
