There is one thing i am confused about. What exactly would posting our picks confirm? What would they tell us that would advance the game?

We can determine who can't be scum with someone.
At most we can eliminate 16 pairs (2*8 with no overlap)

For now it's best to MC picks IMO

I don’t mind that much that you acknowledged good arguments on both sides as I’ve been going back and forth on what was the best strategy. What I don’t like is the impression that you didn’t try to come up with your own arguments, and agree with Prohawk that it looks like sheeping. And I dislike even more the way you jumped in right after SAJ had. You seemed to be weighing things up to this point, why did you then rush? Can you elaborate on what makes you think Prohawk is scummy?

I did it after SAJ because Pro just interjected it in. Once SAJ did it I realized it was happening and said mine.
Prohawk felt scummy because he didn't seem to be trying to help. It's mainly a tone read.

This is a breakdown of what ProHawk is proposing.
So you lynch me and I flip mafia. Who does this clear? Who must we trust for these to be true clears?
This clears:
ZZZX if Tenshii is town
ProHawk if Jaack is town
SAJ
ArcAngel if Jin is town
Jaack if ZZZX is town
Meaning SAJ and Arc are conftown, with others being likely town.
If Jaack we're scum though, he wouldn't be paired with me, as ZZZX would be town.
Same for ProHawk and ZZZX.
All clear then...
...I think I just wasted my time, but please correct me if I'm wrong.
The only scum motivation I can see in ProHawk's proposal is that when I flip town, there won't be as much information.

What kind of information do you think it gives? I didn't really get that impression from my reading so far. I do see the argument for there being a relatively high chance of flipping scum though I think, but I'd like to hear your reasons for saying that anyways. Just in case they're different from what I saw, if you don't mind sharing.

Did I miss a Tenshii/Jin interaction somewhere? This only clears Tenshii for you though, assuming you're town. Nobody's said this yet which surprises me, but the problem with setting someone up to be cleared like that this early is that it almost guarantees they'll be NKed, and then we'll be back in a state like we are now. If you're not scum, Gamma, and scum sees that Jaack is being TRed by you, then scum knows that you will clear Tenshii in your mind. Scum would just kill Tenshii for that because they don't want us knowing who is town. Better to force them to make the kill that clears someone else than clear someone with a lynch only to get the cleared person killed. Scum does have the no-kill option on N1 though, but no later nights (N1 comes after D2 in this setup, just a reminder)
