Why not set up a Vig-situation here with Drixx? For arguments sake we:

(replace "Sando" with "very TRd person who doesn't have other things to do with their powers")
1) Give Sando Bomb N5
2) Drixx Doc's Sando N5 (it's a night only action I think?)
3) Sando bombs X on D6, we don't pre-announce this (bomb is anytime action correct?)
4) Echo shouldn't be able to happen since they have to submit it overnight and they don't know the target (echo is night only correct?)
5) If there was no kill N5 then decent chance Sando was target and we can decide whether to go through with plan or not

This minimises the risks while giving us a day-vig,

the workaround to all the problems we have is to only give powers to people we ultimately trust. that's a good idea btw, very different from the multiple sui bombs one because we're trusting what seems to be town (you) with it, instead of POE'd down people.

Actually this is wrong, Bomb can be activated as a day action, and when you do that it just counts against your next night's superpower usage, so long as you're not negated or hit a negated target that shouldnt matter, Power Echo DOES NOT last into the next day phase like most of the other BS counters scum can have, so that might be viable.

Actually this is wrong, Bomb can be activated as a day action, and when you do that it just counts against your next night's superpower usage, so long as you're not negated or hit a negated target that shouldnt matter, Power Echo DOES NOT last into the next day phase like most of the other BS counters scum can have, so that might be viable.

I think you should be leader at some point. I still trust drixx while understanding those who don't. I never wolfread sando this game, or nos for that matter. I could be played by any of those of course, and I could be played by nero. I think all of them are town but I'm putting the other players on a higher town % than nero.

I'm still trying to figure out what kind of inane thought process put you up for primary leader.

Because this is Nero's town meta with 95% certainty. You're free to look it up on your own if you dont believe me.

I’m fine with Nero for leader candidate.

There's two questions which are pertinent to the decision on that:

1.) Are we CERTAIN the person is town?
2.) Will the person be responsible and actually help town with the position?

I'm not convinced on the latter. So far all I've seen Nero do this game is tunnel so far up my ass he could floss for me.

If they take you out with a triggered activation, you cannot confirm to whom you offered powers, which could leave a nifty mess in the morning ... especially since you were at one point talking about non-specific pairing. Sure you can say ahead of time but ... that's just the tip of the iceberg on shenanigans. That's what I felt like I could say because there's an obvious way to prevent it being a huge deal and if scum want to trade out 1-for-1 then that's fine.

There's a whole host of other things.

You taking bomb and setting it off at night while you cannot die seems like a clever usage. I'm wondering why it took quite this long for anyone to get there but whatever. That also means I can doc someone who also takes it and sets it off at night. That person basically becomes the scum kill choice though I would think.

Still ... if we can pull it of that takes the downside out of the suicide bomb. You can't die and I can keep someone else from dying.

I can find one slight issue with that.

Most suicide bombs require the user to die.

I would make sure we ask the mod if the effect still fires if the first person lives and that a suicide bomb isn’t voluntarily giving up protection.

If the mod says yes the bomb still fires and Sakura’s immunity is still intact I am all for that.

and what happens if Drixx is scum (again I think this is a small chance)
With the leader if they use it that day/night then they are immune so the risk is only if that overrides it.

Yes, you’re right. The main reason UFO wants to do the dayvig thing, is to avoid PE, which can only be used at night, as can unfortunately doc, so yeah agreed. This has comparable pitfalls to the bomb plan.

Regardless apparently self detonation kills both the player and the target, it does not count as a suicide, i think.
A bombing player may well be able to be doctored from dying from it, and it's also possible the presiding leader (me) can vig someone with it.

while you are someone with precog and wolves inexplicably killed stungun when you invited him to have powers, and you've been pretty loud about things that aren't and can't be right, I think your start of day 2 thoughts are pretty nuanced and unlikely to ever come from a wolf. you're also bringing up lots of good points against nero cain's slot, and your progression on titus is fair and not reeking of TMI (like e.g. the way you bussed me in last mash).

gamma's push on titus looks genuine as well. hebichan, zmuffin and human sequencer made good villagery posts around those pages. kokichi OTOH doesn't feel like town at all, and that's where my vote is going if I think hebi/creature/you/gamma look well.

at some point in d2 katsuki fakes a guilty on titus, which tbh is quite weird and looks like distancing a lot, and mathblade stopped people from clearing the slot based off that and referenced another game where katsuki did fake a guilty on a scum mate for distancing reasons. so considering the gamestate, the fact that titus couldn't even be lynched d2 and everyone wanted her dead anyway, katsuki's fake redcheck might actually be a reason to scumread your slot. that was back at d2 and a minor thing but I liked that math had these thoughts and think they're very nuanced.

also you're probably never w/w together now if that becomes relevant later on.

while you are someone with precog and wolves inexplicably killed stungun when you invited him to have powers, and you've been pretty loud about things that aren't and can't be right, I think your start of day 2 thoughts are pretty nuanced and unlikely to ever come from a wolf. you're also bringing up lots of good points against nero cain's slot, and your progression on titus is fair and not reeking of TMI (like e.g. the way you bussed me in last mash).

gamma's push on titus looks genuine as well. hebichan, zmuffin and human sequencer made good villagery posts around those pages. kokichi OTOH doesn't feel like town at all, and that's where my vote is going if I think hebi/creature/you/gamma look well.

1.) You really should go look at Space Dandy 2 if you want to understand why I would try and calm shit down when Titus is being wound up. That shit was unpleasant. None of us are playing this hobby to add stress to our life. I'm quite aware that many scum use that kind of thing as a technique but if you go looking I think you're going to find I have a pretty solid ethical line when it comes to abusing "personal" or "real life" things for gain when I'm scum. 6.) Again: ask anyone who plays with me regularly how I feel about abuse in forum mafia and how I respond when I see it. Or go look at games which had toxicity. 1 - scum was elected leader on n1 and we don't know how many wolves got powers that day. we don't know what their powers are. we don't know who titus gave power to instead of ankamius.
2 - if scum slipped into the towncore as well, then they have a lot of powers by now and can absolutely fuck our "bombing plan" up in many ways.
3 - scum can negate, redirect, amplify or BP themselves against the suicides
4 - flipping everyone in a POE and then determine that whoever we don't flip is scum does not fucking work cause there will be situations where scum just WIFOMs the fuck out of it
5 - we are playing a horribly townsided setup where we elect a leader and we know the majority of players who got powers and which powers are those. we have informative, protective and other types of abilities that will always lead to a town win as long as we don't fuck this up. we benefit from playing slowly because we gain a ton of information every gameday. we control the abilities. we bulletproof our towniest people. nuking an entire POE that's actually way too big and could be wrong is the fucking worst plan ever.

so please the worst, you just stop this mate. I know you're bored with the game and want to nuke everyone. that's not the proper way to play this though, and I'm not gonna stand by it.

The problem is you can only use one power at a time. SS is an exception to this. So, whomever would use echoe cannot simultaneously use their bp, foe example.

1 - drixx can be scum and use a killing ability like sui, while being protected by another scum, and then we'd have everyone who echoed it basically vigging other players in the towncore.

2 - drixx can be power negated, thus having no one protected.

Only Asuka is can bomb during the day because there is no contradiction. The rest of us can only do it at night. I am only bombing with doc protection or it I am.leader. I can’t use more then one superpower at a time.

If scum doesn’t know whether I am going to use my bp or not, both my target and me will be safe. I think that we really need to find what hidden power scum has - sooner than later IMO. Bombing without SS would catch the target and hopefully verify if scum has negate. If yes, then we know they don’t have precog and can’t get the jump on us. If no, we lower the potential pool of whom could have picked negate, if it wasn’t Titus.

Only Asuka is can bomb during the day because there is no contradiction. The rest of us can only do it at night. I am only bombing with doc protection or it I am.leader. I can’t use more then one superpower at a time.

Ok so, first of all, why would someone Power Negate specifically drixx, using PN on ur target already voids any super powers used on them and can kill them anyway, this would also prevent them from being targeted by Drixx (although Drixx's power woul still go off).

Negating Drixx, would also negate any echo, mimicry, or power aborbtion actions used on him.

I have multiple games in which damn good cases were brought against me and I was lynched for it. I also have a game on here I replaced into and failed so spectacularly hard it was hilarious. I am town but if you can’t build a case then we should practice and use this time to help people be better Mafia players. I'm trying to figure out how Math went from lock town to leashed precog.

I don’t know how to read him in this game. I can find credible arguments for him being either alignment due to some highly questionable posts but it also seems weird if scum, for him to have locked himself into this position, which is why I don’t want to lynch there as long as he keeps posting precog. There is also the possibility that scum doesn’t have precog and is keeping him alive for this reason. We still don’t know what power Titus’ hidden scum picked and like it or not, if Math is town then this might be our only way to get the jump on scum.

If we find Titus’ hidden scum, then I suppose that would maybe clear him?

If Math doesn’t post precog - taking into account those highly questionable posts - keeping him in the game could be very risky but he did post precog, like he promised he would, so I don’t see any compelling reason to lynch him today.

I don't feel very strong about gamma being a wolf, but you gotta look at his d1 interactions with titus cause they're pretty alarming. half of what gamma posts is weird, but then again it is gamma and he has this... unexplicable tendency to do wolfy things as a villager. I'm not criticizing his villa game cause I think he is really good, but he can't avoid looking wolfy to other people for some reason. I think I mislynched him twice now? so yeah.

hebichan has many posts on d1 that are wolf. she started the game frozen and continued to look frozen throughout. it's a great guess at a wolf here. she does have some good posts on d2 about titus, pushing titus for good reasons (iirc) but it's not enough to make up for wolfy shit she posted otherwise.

I'd also lynch nosferatu and mathblade this gameday.

you can use redirect yeah. I think everyone getting a BP should be the standard play, and then we deviate from it depending on who doesn't need it or wants to hero a redirection ability. I think healing touch is ~ok to have as an ability since only ausuka has it rn iirc.

Petrify IMHO is still a vig. A vig I will never likely use but a vig none the less. The reason I took it was to take care of potential well entrenched scum in the townblock if any ever existed.
