My Town W/L record is like ~62% outside of here. I do think the Scum Win Rate around here is much higher than I’m used to. But I used to play with what I think are really strong Town players and often, so there’s that.

I get that people have different theories on how to play Mafia. When I first started, the players I played with had expectations that Town played as Town would, and that other things like lying, contradictions, and asking for reads (rather than providing them) were not Town behavior. In my years here I am aware that some don't think Town or Scum behaviors exist, and that only motivation is the thing to hone in on.

I'm not bent on Scum-reading you for it because I can accept that some people play the game differently if they're Town.

Secondly, I don't play weird in the sense that I am too "out there" with HOW I play, but I am "our there" in terms of the reasons I give for my reads. I've asked people all sorts of questions trying to get a good read on them that are completely unrelated to the game, for example. I once asked someone if they were a flat earther in order to try and get a better read on them.

I have a good reason for suspecting Andre but I am not allowed to say why. Nero, I feel, is not really being that argumentative this game which kind of irks my gut. And then there's Loftwing who said he liked the Andres vote, but then he never even voted there.

Andre I am Lightly TRing because I think I saw there were a number of times he slipped he didn't have TMI. I have not played with them before but I'm not SRing them for seemingly contradicting themselves because I'm waiting to see how that develops in what I would call a narrative read.

Nero I am Lightly SRing or Leaning Scum on him. It's probably a Scum Lean at this point since he is slanking in activity. I do believe Nero has a volume tell. There's also the fact that his reasons for SRing me are really really bad (go back and look if you're interested).

Personally, I like Loftwing. I think they are a bit awkward, but they started out alright I think. They gave takes on four players when other people were mostly just chewing the fat and I like that. It's vibe mostly though. Light TR.

I feel that it's really cheap, and despite having voted no-shows in the past I now think it's not really optimal Townplay any more. Dwlee, I don't think you should be voting a no-show, unless it's just to get the person to get active if lurking.

I agree. It's extremely cheap. And it's not how I expect Town!Dwlee to play. What's more is that Margot is a newbie, so it's concerning Dwlee is voting for a slot like that. Don't get me wrong, Margot isn't that bad of a player for their experience level (I played with them in a newbie recently and they pegged me as Scum).

Some other thoughts:

I think Dwlee has a real shot at being Scum. Something feels off about them. Their tunnel on me and then dropping it without really saying anything about it at all is something I could see from Town if Dwlee was somehow embarrassed about SRing me before, but I can also see it as Scummy as Dwlee sees their push isn't taking so they decide to go after LHF instead.

And i think both Dwlee and Dkkoba have played townie and are solidly within their town range.
If for some reason we have 5 back to back miseliminations and both of Dkkoba/Dwlee are alive i'd probably be very suspicious of them if still alive at that point. But when we're in day 1 i don't see why anyone should seriously argue in favour of shooting ourselves in the foot and eliminating an active and proactive voice that would be very useful for the town to have if they are town and leave the scummy and inactive slots to continue to fester.
If Dkkoba or Dwlee had played scummy or in a way i'd consider suspicious i'd be all for considering an elimination on them today. But they haven't.
If mafia has wits about them they will eventually shoot town!Dkkoba and town!Dwlee at some point, therefore solving the slots in question before we even need to consider if they could be scum. Because if they live for very long and continue to not find scum then they will look very suspicious by burden of proficiency.
